    Brought in my dash camera on Monday 21JUL @ 0720 for appointment. Was advised to leave my truck, glad I didn't. Called to check on progress of repair the 22nd of JUL at 1500 spoke to a an individual an he told me Mr. Zachary was assigned to monitor my repair and was out sick, and a GMC tech was contacted about the dash cam issues. I have to date not been contacted about the progress till 23JUL only after leaving Mr. Zachary a TXT message were in I explained that no one has contacted me and all contact to this point was initiated by me. On 26JUL @ approximately 0850 I left a TXT message for Mr. Zachary in reference to the repair of said camera. Mr. Zachary responded on 28JUL at approximately 0730. Stating he checked on status of said camera and that GMC would be shipping a replacement that would take 1-2 weeks to arrive. I sent Mr. Zachary a TXT on 01AUG at 1130 to follow up. Mr. Zachary responded at 1315 stating camera would arrive sometime today. At approximately 1530 I was contacted by Mr. Zachary stating camera had arrived. That's a 10 working day period and in my opinion needs much improvement unless the camera was on back order. If it was no one contacted me stating such. Most of all contact was initiated by me. Your employees are empathetic and have good customer skills. The gap needs to be bridged between the dealership and GMC service/parts to insure a smoother provision of service to customers and not putting it on the backs of the frontline employees. I have one more issue; I was advised via phone con on 17JUL with Mr. John Compion that the initial instal of my dash cam where in the rear facing camera was installed upside down. I corrected this, but was told by Mr. Compion that he would make it right. As of to date 6AUG I have not been advised as to how or what Mr. Compion's plan is or was to make things right. Y'all have a good day an God bless.

    1st off I get it your short handed. Y'all gotta do better if you got an appointment honor it. Mine was not honored and then to boot my dash camera install was my primary reason for service was installed with the rear facing camera upside down. I fixed that myself here at home yesterday. Would like a refund, but y'all did most of the hard work. Just not satisfied with the issue of your appointment scheduling. You got nice folks working there good customer skills, but them appointments are BS. Remedy for that issue is to honor them by being upfront and say it's gonna be an all day affair or set an appointment that you can honor a few more days out.

    I scheduled an appointment like at noon or so for the same day like maybe 3 hours later. Went in being skeptical about the timeframe but only to be there like about 45-50 minutes and it was completed.

    This has been the absolute worst experience. I took my 2025 Equinox for its first Oil Change. My keys were misplaced by Anna. I got the run around for a month! I finally got my New Key, and when asked if I could get possibly another few oilcloth chance as compensation. I was told no, That she has already replaced my key and ordered me a new key fob cover! VERY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE

    I feel that the sale was rushed. My sales person did not explain the contract to me and neither did the financial rep. I bought a used 2021 truck. Then, after taking the truck for a weekend I realized the tires were worn out about 3 yrs old and one of them was bald in the inner side about to have a blow out. I returned 5 days later asking if they can replace with new tires and do an alignment. I also asked for the rear shocks, it was needing them bad. The so called boss, Abel agreed to the tires and alignment, but not the shocks. One week later the truck stalled out on me and left me stranded at a store. I luckily purchased the warranty and I called my salesperson and asked service department to call me to tow the truck back to the dealership. I was waiting for an hour and still no call from Taylor the service rep. I had to call my son to pick me up and went to the dealership and spoke to her. I finally was able to call the warranty to get roadside service and get my truck towed. They checked the battery first and said it wasn’t the battery and kept the truck for 3 days and fixed it. They said it was the transmitter and was replace and gave me new fobs. I picked up the truck and 2 days later it stalled on me at my work. Didn’t want to start as I was getting off work at 7:30 am. I had it towed the next day on a Friday. They called me later and said it was the battery. So, I asked if Abel the boss can replace it since it was a maintenance issue and it obviously didn’t go out from one day to another. So I ask did the truck really go through inspection if it obviously needed tires and the battery was old and about to go out. He said no, he was not going to replace it and the warranty would not cover. They were charging almost $500 to replace the battery. I had been very patient with these people and polite. By this time I’m livid! Went to the dealership asked to speak to Abel and gave him a piece of my mind. I got very loud with him and he threatened to call the police on me to escort me out of the premises. I refused since my truck was still there and to my misfortune my warranty is through AutoNation and I have to take it to them every time my truck needs to be serviced and fixed. I had my truck towed back to my house, since I can replace the battery myself and save myself a few hundred bucks. I had a horrible experience with all of them and would not recommend buying a vehicle from there, especially a used one!!!

    We recently purchased a car from Autonation. We were greeted immediately by Jacob. He transferred our car from another lot so we could test drive. We've had to return to dealership for a few minor issues and are always greeted by friendly sales people!

  • Not a good experience, employees need to learn customer service

    Made an appointment online for 1p to have my oil changed and tires rotated and balanced. Arrive to GMC service dept. and the guy at the desk tells me that he cannot help me because he is going to lunch at 1p. He then asks if i booked online and i said yes, he then tells me that the online booking will book when the employees are at lunch leaving nobody to help customers. Sorry but there should always be someone there to help customers, and when you have a customer, you don't tell them that you can't help them because you are going to lunch! Then he asks if i will be waiting or need a shuttle ride, i said i would be waiting, he then laughs and says the wait will be 2.5-3 hrs because there are about 20 tickets in front of me. He asked if i would like to reschedule for another time. I told him no, i can't come back another time just because he doesn't want to do his job, he chuckled. He said he would call the other side (Chevrolet) and see if they had someone that could help me. No one answered his call, so then he said i will walk with you over there. We walked to the Chevy side and the first guy he saw at the desk he asked him what time do you go to lunch, the guy replied he didn't know. He then told another guy that he had a customer with an appointment at 1 and there was no one to get them checked in and if he could do it. The guy responded if you have a customer, then why are you not helping the customer? The guy then tells him nevermind i will help the customer. The guy on the Chevy side was nice and professional. It did take about 2 hrs for the oil change and tire rotation, but the cost was $200 which is pretty expensive...$122 for labor is ridiculous. I don't plan to return after this experience, but i would hope that they speak to their employees about customer service.

    Although it was beyond the dealerships control for the back ordered part to come in, customer service needs much improvement. We were never offered and loner vehicle, never told how we could contact GMC, and most importantly, rarely if ever contacted by anyone from the service department during the 2+ months my car was held there. If I received any information on the status it was because I called to inquire and still the answer was vague and unsure.
