    That afternoon me and my son stopped by just to take a look at the new inventory on the lot. My son had done a lot of research on Hyundai before buying his Hyundai Elantra. I liked his car, and my wife was looking for a new car. We were in… the market for something that got good gas milage. But i got to say i was not really stopping to buy at that moment more of a hit and run browsing session. As we were about to leave the lot a salesman approached me and my son. I remember my son saying oh no they got us meaning the salesman was coming. The Gentleman who approached us was with AutoNation Hyundai Corpus Christi 6686 South Padre Island Drive CORPUS CHRISTI, TX 78412 [contact info removed] When Scott approached us he was very friendly non pushy and retained all the information i shared with him. Now funny thing is i just couldn't remember his name at the the time no matter how many times he told me.Shortly after talking with Scott me and my son had to leave. I live right around the corner from the dealership and as i pulled into my driveway i get a text message from Scott it was a video of himself. In the video he introduced himself to me ect. Scott was the perfect salesman. We bought the car.

    Everything was good as far as working out what I needed. The only thing is that my car did not make the noise that it did before service and after service, so they were not able to diagnose what was wrong. No fault on the service… department, just my car not cooperating :(

    This was my second visit with the service department within 2 weeks and both times Kimberly the service rep did a fantastic job of tending to my visit. She promptly took care of my vehicle in a short and prompt manner. I got my vehicle… even faster than she told me. She was very sweet, polite, courteous and professional in doing it. Some of the other employees were also were nice and caring. I truly will be recommending this dealer to my family and friends. Great job Kimberly.

  • Beyond unhappy with the service department

    I had tried for months to get a recall done on my car. First I was told that the parts were coming from Dallas so I could go there to have it done. (7 hours away). I made an appointment in early to mid December and was told the parts would… come in Dec 23rd. I had to ask if I could take my car back until the parts came in. No one even looked at my car in the 2 days it was there nor did they call me and I called several times during those two days. I got a ride back over there and was given an update on ETA for the parts of January 16th. I finally got a call on January 12th that the party was in and to call the advisor back to make another appointment. I called 6 times and left messages and never heard back. I went back and FINALLY got an appointment to do the recall. When it was done, they called and said that I also needed a new serpentine belt, which they would’ve seen had they looked at my car originally. The belt would take a week to come in. By this time, I couldn’t trust that it would only be a week. They also told me a needed a new belt tensioner yet did not show me a damaged or broken one that would cost over $500. I told them to put it back together and give me my car. They told me it would be done in 2 hours which, of course, it wasn’t. I had to call again to see if it was done. I am just beyond unhappy with the service department.

    Disorganized and poor service. Lots of misinformation. Kept my car for over a week with no updates. Had to call three time and leave messages because they never answered. To add insult to injury, super expensive.

  • Worst customer service I’ve ever had to deal with

    I had a 9:00 appointment for a service engine light that came on. I was told that since I did have an appointment that it wouldn’t take long. I tried contacting the service department several times and finally got someone to answer my phone… call around 4:30pm. I was informed that they would have to order the part that my vehicle needed and it would be in on Thursday. I called Saturday to find out that status of my vehicle. I could not get anyone to answer the phone and when I did get an answer, I was told that Josh would get back with me and he did not. I continued to get the run around with him and that’s only when he decided to return my call.

    First let me be the one to say I was greeted with a smile and willingness to listen and get me what I wanted. Mark was absolutely well rounded in what the 2023 Hyundai Palisade could do and he listed all the features and also demonstrated… all the bells and whistles. He stayed in constant communication with me on delivery dates and updates. This by far has been the best encounter I have had with a car salesmen in many many years. Then to my surprise Mark stayed in contact well after the sale which reenforced to me I made the right choice in buying the Palisade from Mark. I recommend you see him when you visit. Kwan
