  • Do NOT buy a vehicle from Corpus Christi Ford

    Completely on organized horrible dealership. I waited over three weeks for shipping on a vehicle I waited over three weeks for them to even mailed the paperwork for me to sign on the vehicle. I cannot get license plates because the dealer has not sent any information regarding the sale to the DMV. Buyer beware is all I have to say. Completely on organized horrible dealership.     Less than a 1 star if possible. I had my car towed there first they said they didnt have my car had to call road side assistance 4 different times just to find out they had my car the whole time to get fixed through my warranty they miss diagnosed my car twice. And then tried to charge me even though every service they provided was covered through warranty will never deal with this dealership again

    Worst possible service I have ever had. No customer service at all I will never buy a vehicle from them or even have it serviced there. They tried to void my warranty when my truck is under warranty.

    Bought the truck without tailgate (was stolen before I bought it from the dealer) was told I would be getting the same type (platinum tailgate) now they don’t want to keep up there end of the bargain

    My visits have always been satisfactory! This time I had an issue with the shuttle pick up !! I had to call to remind them to remind him to come get me !!! I have always dealt with Alicia and she is always helpful!!

    Your service advisor I would offer a 5 star rating, however, the dealship, Ford Auto Nation would rate a 1 star rating. I bought a vehicle in 2017, along with an extended warranty which was sold to me not beig represented correctly. I was told the warranty covered the vehicle bumper to bumper, with a deductible. I took the vehicle in shortly after purchase, 6 months perhaps, for an oil leak on the engine. I was then told that there would be charge for the mechanics time and materials for troubleshooting. What happened to bumper to bumper coverage? After going back and forth with service manager, the dealership covered it. They found no issues. Turns out the oil leak was from a bad a/c compressor, discovered by my vehicle mechanic. Replaced a/c system using extended warranty at my mechanics business. Long story short, I will not ever use your dealerships services or buy another vehicle there. The only reason I took the vehicle in was because of a recall and an oil change due to me. Residual oil from the oil change dripped onto my driveway, again showing poor performance on the dealership once again. Your new service advisor was very good, 5 star, but does not change my mind about your dealership.

    I had a terrible experience in the city I reside in, so I drove down to Corpus Christi specifically to work with the people of AutoNation, and let me tell you: ITS SO WORTH IT! They had the car I wanted parked out front, the sales associate, Eric, was ready and prepared. He listened to what I wanted, my past experience, and to other unnecessary life updates, and made my experience so much better than I could have ever imagined. I needed the process to be quicker than usual, and they made sure to take care of me in an appropriate amount of time. I cannot stress this enough, GET YOUR VEHICLE FROM AUTONATION! Everything part of the experience from finding a vehicle online to even after driving off the lot is awesome and amazing. Love this place, thank you!!

    The worst. Terrible. Horrible. No Good. Very Bad. Poor. This has to be the worst mechanic service I've ever had the displeasure of receiving. Incompetence at every turn. After having to pay them a ridiculously over priced $150.xx just to do a diagnostic of the A/C on my vehicle. They informed me that I would need a new compressor and they wanted $1400 to replace my current one. I told them absolutely not! I took it down to a local mechanic shop and they did it for $300 and had it back same day. Well the new compressor didn't fix the A/C so I went back to this sham of a business and gave them the option to refund my money or to re-diagnose the A/C issue. They kept my vehicle for three days before calling to tell me it was the expansion valve that needed to be replaced. They wanted $1000 for this job. Again I told them absolutely not! When I went to pick my vehicle up the lot porter knew something wasn't right. THEY HAD TORN MY GLOVE BOX OUT AND PARTIALLY DISASSEMBLED MY DASH. My blood was boiling. I asked to speak to the manager whom I spoke with before about the misdiagnosis, but he was of course out on vacation. The spineless service person Patrick was no where to be found. The only person who made an attempt to explain or help was a lovely woman who informed me that she was just acting manager. She tried to put me into a loaner car, but I wasn't having any of their games. I told them I expected a call to sort out them putting my car back together and then drove off. Low and behold a week later still no call from the [non-permissible content removed]. I did take my car down to the same mechanic as before and had the expansion valve fixed for $180. What is maddening about this is that they have the gall to charge people $160 an hour for service, but can be so flippant with the customers time. So lets recap. Overpriced, careless, misinformed, spineless, and inconsiderate. I'm going to send this review to the shop, to the management, to the owners, to the Mazda corporate overlords, and to any company that ranks them like "Best of the best", J.D Power and Associates, etc.

    I bought a 2017 Ford Escape in a beautiful foul charcoal gray color. Was looking to get into a midsized SUV. Was helped by a general election named Casey with Autonation Ford. Wonderful man! Thanks for saving me some money and bringing my monthly note down. Very satisfied customer!

    Adequate service. Not quite satisfactory. I brought my Ford Focus in for a Ford latch recall. Apparently there was a chance that all four doors could open while driving. Very discomforting. After 8 hours, I was told my car was ready and to pick it up. When I went to the service parking lot and opened the driver's side door, the door handle came off in my hand. This was the last thing I expected to happen as I brought my vehicle in to solve the recall issue on the door latches. They were unable to take care of the problem right away. It was 5 p.m. and I was told the technician had already left for the day. Patrick (Service Adviser) was apologetic and immediately fixed me up with a temporary loaner until the issue could be addressed the following day. After waiting, yet again, another 8 hours, I was told my Ford Focus was ready and the problem was resolved. Patrick (Service Adviser) told me that the technician had neglected to tighten a screw on the driver's side door handle. If this was the case, why did it take 8 hours for the technician to tighten a screw. Patrick Conrad (Service Adviser) was very professional and helpful. However, even though I was told the issue was resolved, I feel uneasy about driving my car on the streets. If the technician neglected to tighten a screw on one of the door handles, then how do I know if he also neglected to fix all four door latches properly as this recall was to rectify.

    I locked my keys in my car. I am a single mother with only one income so I have to pinch the penny. The man at the service desk gave me options unlike other places trying to just use scar tactics to make a larger profit. He made a copy of the key to open the door so I could access my keys thus saving me towing cost , new key with chip cost, programing fee, and just a huge burden off of me . He was great !

    Cole McLeod was very helpful as an all around awesome person! Trent and Brad also get honorable mention. If is wasn't for these three I would not have my brand new truck! The whole experience was wonderful and exciting! I normally dread having to go car shopping but this time was such a fun and unique experience! Thanks again guys I couldn't be happier!

    Went to purchase my son's first car. Were there for five hours to be told we were denied. On the way home received a call if we paid TTL we were approved. They said return Monday and sign paperwork. We returned to be told we were denied again. The manager then called again and said he had another loan with a lower rate and would call the following day. Never heard from him again. He said we were never fully approved. He stated the initial loan was electronically approved but at the bottom the bank stated he needed to call and speak to them. He took it upon himself to tell us we were approved without talking to the bank first. He told me this. This man, Daniel, said he would make it right, had a better loan, free oil change and gas for driving back and forth. I have not heard a word from this man again. They lied from the time we got there to the time we left. I expressed my anger because they were getting my son's hope up and then letting him down. The salesmen would only roll their eyes at me. Very rude men. Very unprofessional playing football in the waiting room when they didn't have customers and watching loud videos on their phones. Never again.

  • Ford Explorer Key Fob programming

    The service staff is courteous. I arrived on time for appointment and waited there while the work was done. I suggest bringing a book to read. When I received my new key fob back, I was told they were done programming it and it now worked. I completed my paperwork and left. When I tried to turn on my car, I discovered it did not. I couldn't start the car, put the alarm on, etc. I let them know immediately and they reprogrammed it again. After waiting again, I then received a working key fob back and was told my car needed to return for 3 recalls, and the service associate thought the recalls would be covered by warranty, but he would call me back and let me know. He later called me back and asked if I could remind him why he was supposed to call me back.... I laughed, and scheduledid an appointment for the recalls. I said I thought all recalls should be covered by the the manufacturer, and he said thought they would be. Hopefully when I drop the car off next time, I will get a definite answer! You need to be prepared to be patient when you come here. I gave them a rating of 4 instead of three because they were polite....
