2012 Mustang air bag recalled
by DebbieV38 on 06/24/2016This was for a service recall of the airbag in my 2012 Mustang. They had the vehicle for a day and it was done in an acceptable amount of time.Horrible Experience

But after an all day event, and I do mean ALL DAY from 10:30 am finishing up at 7:30 pm (because the dealer had a sales meeting during our purchase that we were unaware of) The finance guy Fernando… Arrellano. well he is another story! A quick double talking misleading number shuffling un-trust worthy person. If you find yourself having to sit down with him to do your paperwork, Get Up And LEAVE! or You will regret it as we did. All of the paperwork does not show or represent the cash down payment we gave. The Truth in Lending paper work shows -0- in the down payment slot. He claimed it was in the paperwork and showed us another area where it appeared. When we contacted Ford they also stated the Truth in Lending Statement had to show the down payment. We were approved through Ford Financing for the low interest rate and he said " oh you have to give up your Factory Cash Rebate of $1450.00 for that rate." Again we asked Ford if this was true and was assured it was not. Not to mention on the Paper work the "Retail Buyers Order" that goes to the state of Texas to register the vehicle. The statement shows " Factory Cash Rebate Assigned to dealer $1450.00." When we asked why? He responded, oh we have to show that you gave up the rebate to get the 1.9% rate. My question to him was " Why is it calculated in the numbers". He fast talked me stating that is not important and does not affect you. Anyways after sitting down and calculating all of the numbers we realized we were right and he took advantage of us as well as what was rightfully ours. Ford advised that we talk with the dealership Manager to get this straightened out. I placed a call to the dealership the next day and requested to speak with the Finance Manager and I was told there were 4 of them and that he was one of them. I requested to Speak with The dealership manager so that our paperwork could be corrected and explained to us, well that was 2 weeks ago. I left another message last week and again was told the same. Again, I left a message and I still have not received a call back or any resolution. All we want is Honesty and for the paperwork to be corrected showing the cash down Payment as well as the Factory Cash Rebate cause we never agreed to just give it to the dealer we were scammed out of it. PLEASE BE CAREFUL this is NOT an HONEST dealership.Will never do business with this dealership again
by RayRayG on 06/16/2016We were mislead from the minute we drove onto the lot to do business with them from the salesperson, to management, finance department. We have had trouble with our car from day 2 until know and they want to charge for everything bring it… in for one thing get it back and then get it back and something else. Advise to see if we could downsize and they do not want to work with you. Other dealerships have told us that we were totally mislead and were done wrong and taken advantage of. We are stuck with a car that is not reliable and will never do business again with them. When we see the commercial we just get upset and laugh because of the lies that we have experienced with Baytown Ford.Great Service at Baytown Ford

I was very pleased to see the car was washed when I picked it up, a very nice detail indeed. I would have been even more pleased had the wash… resulted in a clean car... but it was mostly clean and was cleaner than when I dropped it off, so I shouldn't complain. I am speaking only of the exterior of the car, not the interior. Thank You.Great customer service each time I visit.

by truth14 on 08/03/2015I bought a new truck from Johnny Luna which seemed to be a great salesman until we had issues with the truck. Then he could not answer any of the questions or provide us with any help. The service department was even worse. They told us… we could drop off our truck to get in line and they could maybe get to it on Monday. I ended up going to a ford dealership near Fairmont parkway and they got our truck in the same day. I would not recommend this dealership for sales or service. Also beware of their maintenance agreements. They told us we could get the oil changed at any dealership. When I got my oil changed at a different location, they said I did not have a maintenance agreement. When I called Baytown Ford, they then told me it was only for the Baytown Dealership.NO DEAL
by environmental on 08/11/2014Was looking to buy THREE new 2015 F-250's for our company and have them built to the specks we wanted. Dealt with a salesman (Johnny). After a few calls back and forth we agreed on a package and price. The deal was done (I thought) through… verbal on the phone AND via E-mail. Johnny called back a few min later to tell me that HE had made a math error and that each truck I wanted to order would cost ME a thousand more (3K more for the deal). After some complaining from me he offers half off the 3k extra (so still 1,500 more than we agreed on). I refused to pay for HIS mistake and a day later he says he took a but chewing from his boss (yeah ok) and would agree to our first deal. I said ok. Then he calls again and tells me that he could not get the trucks in the 3.55 (for heavy pulling) and could only get the 3.11 (less parts and cheaper). He tries some fast talk and pushes the 3.11 on me telling me that the ONLY difference is I will get better fuel millage. (not true) I found out that you can't build a truck with a 3.55 without a heavy duty front suspension. The salesman did not seem to know why his system wouldn't let him build the truck with the 3.55. In my opinion, I believe that he was shorting me on the package of the trucks to compensate for his math error. In the last 2 years we have bought 4 trucks from Baytown Ford but dealt with different people (no longer there) so I was surprised they handled a deal with us this way. After reading some of the other reviews here I'm wondering what happened to the dealership I knew then. I have tried to speak with the General Manager and left a message, but no luck. I'm willing to bet this review still gets the same formal, impersonal response like the others here. I ended up getting three trucks from BJ Ford in Liberty. They gave me the trucks I wanted (with the 3.55's AND ELOCK instead of non-limited slip) AND threw in cruse and a cd player for the same cost as my original deal with Baytown Ford.Providing guests with quality, transparent service from start to finish is extremely important to us. We apologize for the frustrations you experienced in trying to obtain 3 F-250's from our store. We are always striving to do better, and as such, we would appreciate the opportunity to learn more about what transpired. Kept Waiting for Something Bad

It never happened. They made a great quote online, honored it without hesitation, and treated us… excellently. I was very happy.
