    Came in for a transmission fluid change. Was promptly greeted and processed. Was told the length of time it would take. They completed the service right on time and got me on my way.

    Al was a great help yesterday. He communicated the cost ahead of time, gave me an accurate time estimate, helped me get to/from work while I waited, and was so friendly and helpful. There were no surprise costs and he walked me through the final report. This is my third experience with Kia South Austin service and everyone has been wonderful. What a great team! Thank you Al-I’ll be asking for him next time I’m in.

  • Unless it’s an oil change forget getting anything done

    The past two times I have brought my car in for service they can’t do anything beyond basic oil change. Any other issues they give you some BS that they need to keep your car for 7-10 days to diagnose the problem. I had a cooling hose that sprung a leak, pretty apparent, no diagnostics needed and was told to I would need to leave my car for at least a week. No rental would be given and basically told this was the only option. Went elsewhere and had fixed the same day out of pocket. Fast forward 6 months and need routine maintenance and also my back up camera looked at that has been malfunctioning. now that I work from home I was prepared to leave my car. Left it for a week and they claimed they couldn’t replicate the issue so couldn’t do anything. I have an extended warranty that covers everything and when I asked for them to just replace the backup camera they refused. Said I’d have to pay for it since it’s working just fine for them. Honestly I’m convinced they give this whole leave your car for 7-10 days because most people probably won’t because they need their car. Kia sucks and I will never buy another car from them, service is nonexistent

    What is the point of scheduling an appointment at 7 in the morning to have your vehicle sit there, until 6 hrs later when they final look at it.

    I had a wonderful experience at Kia of South Austin. Lewis was my saleperson who had a perfect balance of being insightful, asking questions and knowing when to give me space. With low inventory, I was kept aware as new cars were coming. And, while all other Kia dealerships in Austin area, including North Austin, Round Rock, New Braunfels and even San Antonio were taking advantage of customers charging $10k over MSRP, Kia of South Austin was the only single dealership being fair to their customers. I will never consider visiting any other unethical Kia dealership in the area

South Austin Kia had the best price and made the whole process straightforward and simple so that we didn’t have to spend hours at the dealership. They took the extra time to educate us on the new car and make sure we were comfortable before driving the car off the lot. Everyone was great!
