Great experience with Garnet VW

I used the Edmunds website to search for cars. I saw a particular one at Garnet that was a new listing – a 2024 VW Taos – and I suspected that would be “the one.” I called ahead to get a little information, then scheduled a test drive.… Jordan took me on a test drive that was longer than most (in my experience), so I really got a good feel for the car. I did drive a couple of other cars elsewhere, but this one was such a pleasant experience. Garnet worked with me on my trade-in allowance, and I felt I got a very good deal on my Taos. The staff took excellent care of me and my transaction, and I’m so pleased with how everything worked out. This location is a 30-mile drive for me, but it was well worth the effort.

by Pauljn123 on 11/23/2018After purchasing this vehicle I found out that the front brakes would not pass inspection and were unsafe. I had to have the entire front brake system replaced. Then the thermostat needed replacement. I soon found out the engine rings were… bad causing the vehicle to burn excessive amounts of oil. This caused the rods to be bent and the vehicle broke down. I spent $2000 for the initial repairs and was told another 3000 was needed to make the vehicle operational. I purchased the vehicle for 5200 and now I have to scrap the vehicle as junk. This dealership knowingly sold me a vehicle that was unsafe to drive and had obvious mechanical issues that were not disclosed. I contacted the dealership several times and was insulted by the sales manager. I was told that they would call me back with a resolution and never did. Follow up phone calls were ignored.Caser is Amazing!

No amount of research can prepare you for the moment of walking into a dealership. luckily for me, I reached out via telephone a few days prior and spoke to… Casey. Casey was patient and kind on the phone and answered all my question prior to me making the decision to step foot inside the location. He even called me back promptly when he had to ask his manager about an odd question I had about price matching. A few days went by before I had the chance to get over to Garnet Volkswagen after work. As soon as I walked in, Casey was there, even though I didn't tell him I would be stopping by that day. He remembered all that we had talked about on the telephone a few days prior. He even remembered the exact trim level I was looking at as well as the car that I was looking to trade in. Great memory!! especially for an unannounced walk in. He set me up for a test drive and explained all the technology features of the 2019 Jetta SEL. what a car! I think he could sense that i was a bit overwhelmed with all the tech beautifully placed in the vehicle and literally sat with my boyfriend and i and explained nearly ever button. The car comes with a users manual... Casey definitely didn't have to go through all the features with me like he did, but he was so kind to do so. He was knowledgeable, patient, and honest through the process.I literally can not express how awesome Casey is. He explained everything throughly, gave me a no pressure attitude, made me feel comfortable and 100% sure of my purchase. I would HIGHLY recommend him to any of my friends, family, and coworkers if they were looking for a Volkswagen. Thank you Casey! You made the process so easy. I couldnt be happier with my experience and my new car!!!!wouldnt go anywhere else for a car

We both have never had such a pleasurable experience buying a car in our lives. She makes me actually want to turn in my GMC Envoy and… buy a Volkswagen. The whole staff there at Garnet from start to end was great ! We will never ever buy cars anywhere else but at Garnet Volkswagen in West Chester, PA and will make sure to let our friends and family know that buying a car can be a pleasurable experience if you go to Garnet Volkswagen.Sales Review

His patience with my questions and his perseverance in locating the right car were much appreciated.… Ryan listened carefully to me and explained clearly what I needed to know in order to make thoughtful decisions. He made the buying process straightforward. I have always experienced this dealership to provide quality and knowledgable service - from sales through maintenance, service, etc. The complete package - the real deal. by eapj on 09/15/2014I can't recommend Garnet VW enough. I have purchased three cars from Jordan C and have had a great experience each time. All of the staff at Garnet - sales, managers, and finance - are professionals and don't give off the vibe of a… stereotypical car salesman. It is always a wonderful, no-pressure experience. I live about 5 minutes from another VW dealer but always make the 25 minute drive to Garnet for sales and service.RIP OFF
by mikeb25 on 11/26/2010RIPOFF SERVICE----STAY AWAY!!!! I was quoted $160. to install a cat coverter I was supplying. I clearly stated there would be cutting of existing exhaust invloved. They put thecar on the rack and then called me out to show me they could… not just bolt the converter up. Yeah that is why I thought you quoted so high because of the cutting/welding involved? They wanted to charge $160 to undo 6 bolts insert the cat and tighten 6 bolts. They ended up soaking me $398 for a job they quoted at $160. Clearly lying/cheating dealership. I will never go back and will give them negative advertising on every VW froum I belong and let everyone I know who owns a VW to stear clear of GARNET VOLKSWAGON, they [violative content deleted].Excellent Experience & Dealer!

Within an hour of my email, I was contacted by my new go to salesperson Keith C. Simply put, he was honest, made me feel like family and worked hard to… ensure I was getting a great deal. If you are buying from Garnet, you only want to work with him. In particular to my experience, Keith provided me the utmost courtesy, a hassle free negotiation and he went above and beyond to make me feel like a valued customer. For example, he worked with me on various "car thoughts," was patient and my arm left "pain free." (i.e., it was not bent up behind my back) So and in summary, I received an A+ level of sales service in which I have never expereinced in my 40 years of buying and owning cars. If you are in the market for a VW, you want to work with Keith C. at Garnet VW and he will provide you with a great buying experience.
