Excellent Dealer Experience
by granville1 on 12/07/2012updated 06/06/2025I recently purchased a Nissan Frontier truck from Exton Nissan. The dealer experience was the best that I have ever encountered. The sales rep was knowledgable, friendly, courteous and not the least bit pushy. At no time did I experience… any of the pressure tactics which I have come to expect from my previous encounters with other dealers. This dealership is at the top of my list when I have to purchase another vehicle.Price scammers and [non-permissible content removed]
by Gzman13 on 01/07/2014updated 06/06/2025I brought in their internet car Ad, and when we were discussing the price, they stated that I missed the $2000 footnote on the website, the sales [non-permissible content removed] john m even showed me the website. BUT it was not a real… website, it was an internal website they were using to scam people! I used my smartphone to show him the real online Ad and stated that if they don't honor this pricing then we no longer have anything to talk about. Amazing how the $2000 suddenly disappeared from the negotiations. Also, if you do buy from here, because you can press them hard for a good price, make sure you get both sets of keys for your car. The [non-permissible content removed] sales man failed to notify me that the used car I purchased only had 1 key, even though during the test drive he stated he had both keys. We argued about this as well, he gave me his "word" that it would be taken care of, still need to get the second key from them. Should have it this weekend, but lesson learned (relearned) is that you need to verify everything with the [non-permissible content removed] and get everything in writing. Shop around, know the price range for the car you want, then go in and hammer these punks. Also, everyone of the sales managers in this place are [non-permissible content removed]. They lie, have zero integrity, and do not qualify as decent human beings. They try to tack on extra costs every chance they get. Buy from another dealer, these guys are all shady.Great experience; great people
by jhess04 on 05/25/2011updated 06/06/2025Most car sales people are pushy and annoying. Cliff took the time to really understand what my needs were, what I was looking for, and what I could afford. He worked hard for me, and was honest throughout the process. It was an overall… great experience. The staff is friendly, the showroom is clean, and everything was handled as efficiently as possible.Cathy is Great
by dab2011 on 03/03/2011updated 06/06/2025First things first I was looking to purchase a 2008 Maxima, Cathy was able to get me into a 2009 Maxima. She worked hard in getting me into this car, my schedule allows only for a few hours to talk and test drive cars. Cathy was VERY… patient in working with me; she kept in contact with daily updates in regards to cars that were available for me to purchase; as a result I was able to purchase a Max. Its plain and simple of you want the best deal go the Exton Nissan; BUT see Cathy D. Thanks Cathy ----- DwayneRonnie sold us a Murano
by muranobuyer1 on 02/10/2011updated 06/06/2025Ronnie at the dealership sold us a top of the line Murano. He was extremely professional, and allowed us to make a decision over the course of a week and a half. We got a great deal and are very happy with our car.Cliff was great!
by reeny83 on 03/21/2011updated 06/06/2025This was my first time buying a car on my own and from a dealership. Cliff gave me all the time in the world and really helped me with my first big purchase. He made every effort to get me the price I wanted and when it couldn't be met… perfectly, Cliff made sure I got the stereo aux that I really wanted for free! He handled every part of the purchase personally and made me feel really comfortable about my desicion. I have had the car for a couple months now and absolutely love it. When I called to ask Cliff a question (over 2 months later), he remembered who I was and was happy to hear from me. I would totally recommend this dealership and of course Cliff, to my friends and family.Edsil
by edsil1 on 01/24/2011updated 06/06/2025Kathy D: I just want to say Thank You for your superb professionallism and the way you handled our transaction. You were very thorough and informative and went out of your way to assist us in the sale of the Cube. You certainly should be… commended and are a great "asset" to the dealership (Exton Nissan) and the home company of Nissan. You handled the sales transaction in such a manner that I would give you an A rating when it comes to sales. You are truly sincere and certainly not a pushy salesperson. You went out of your way to accomodate our needs. Once again, our thanks to you and may all your future sales go as smooth as ours.Good Customer Service
by hraj on 12/17/2010updated 06/06/2025Kathy from Sales was very helpful during our SUV purchase in EXton Nissan. The customer service is really awesome with this dealer. They made our purchase real smooth. Kathy, even though new to the dealer, provided us with all the details… we needed to know about SUV we purchased.Just bought a car there. Smooth Transaction
by zxpatric on 09/14/2012updated 06/06/2025We just had a great experience there. The whole process is easy. We first negotiate a price with Allison (a very nice professional lady later we met) and took the offered price to the dealership. Allison met us at the gate and Adam took… over from there. Adam knows car well and knows Nissan especially well. After testing drive the new car, signed bunch of paper and check, hesitated over extended warranty, and finally drove the car home happily. Very smooth transaction, sweet internet quote, knowledgeable car sell representative, highly recommended.[non-permissible content removed]
by mamaduk on 12/06/2013updated 06/06/2025I went to Exton to find a used car that I seen on the internet. When I arrived at the dealership they advised that the price of the car was reduced. By the time I was able to sign the contract they had a new finance manager who was… absolutely rude. She snapped at the salesman in front of his customer?? That is not professional at all. She would not honor the initial sale price on the vehicle. She also promised a full gas tank because of all the trips I had to take to close the deal and never fulfilled her promise. The worst experience ever. I've never seen such rude customer service. They never gave me my sales folder that included my free oil change. When I asked to read over what I was signing she got agitated and actually had an attitude with me. WORST EXPERIENCE!! SAVE YOUR TIMEVery poor customer service
by jlg28 on 12/10/2011updated 06/06/2025My experience with this dealership was extremely disappointing. I found a car on the autotrader website that was exactly what I was looking for. It was located at the Exton Nissan dealership. I called and spoke to Sam Fowler at the… dealership who told me the car was still available. I explained to him that I would be coming from Baltimore and may not be able to make it there until the following day because I needed to go to my credit union to get approval for the car loan. I got the approval and my father took off work for the following day as I wanted him to come with me to get the car. The next morning I called the dealership at 11:30 am. Sam was off for the day so my call was transfered to another sales associate, Brianna. I explained to Brianna that I had been dealing with Sam and that I wanted to make sure the car was still available before I left to make the 2 hour trip. She assured me it was available so I told her I was leaving Baltimore then and would be there in about 2 hours. She said verbatim "Ok, I'll have the car ready for you". So I packed up my 3 month old baby and my father and I left. We arrived at the dealership at 2:00 pm and ask for Brianna, as she told me to do. She was working with another customer so another woman offered to show us the car while we waited. We were then taken to a customer waiting area. Through the window we saw the woman walk across the parking lot to the car I was there for. She looked at it, turned around and walked back into the building. We figured maybe she took the wrong keys or something. After about 5 minutes we saw her exit again and walk across the parking lot, only this time she brought back a black Nissan Maxima instead of the white Acura TL that I was there for. She came in and told us "the Acura actually has been sold, someone put a deposit on it this morning." She then tried to appease me by telling me about the Nissan Maxima, which I was not interested it. At this point I thought there must be a mistake. I had called at 11:30 am and was told by Brianna that the car was still available and I told her I was on my way to get the car. Seeing how clearly upset I was, the woman said she would get a manager. After a few minutes my father and I walked over to where the woman was standing, talking to Brianna. When I confronted Brianna about the situation and ask her why she had told me the car was still available and that she would "have it ready for me" she was very dismissive and said that she thought it had been available when we spoke but that they have 2 other locations so basically it wasn't her fault. The manager then came out and his greeting to my father and I was "heard you had a stroke of bad luck". He was incredibly nonchalant and not at all apologetic. He said that he couldn't nullify the deposit that had been put on the car. When I told him I didn't feel that "bad luck" was the issue but rather incompetence on Brianna's part, he literally shrugged his shoulders. The 3 employees stood there just staring at us, not offering to do anything at all to try to rectify the situation. My father and I left disgusted with what had just happened. I had just wasted an hour and half in the credit union the day before, drug my infant out in the cold weather for a 2 hour drive with tolls and the high price of gas and my father had taken off work to get this car, only to be told it wasn't even available. I had put a lot of work into getting this vehicle. Someone at that dealership had dropped the ball. While I do understand that things happen, my problem is with the way the situation was handled, or rather NOT handled. I was under the assumption that Brianna saying she would "have the car ready for me" meant she would hold the car for the 2 hours it took me to drive there. She never once mentioned me needing to put a deposit on the car to hold it for the 2 hours (which I would have done). I feel my father and I were treated very disrespectfully. The couldn't-care-less attitude of Brianna and the manager was completely unacceptable. We didn't even receive an apology. It wasn't like I was screaming or making a scene so I don't understand why the manager didn't offer to do anything at all to work with me. Obviously this dealership didn't want or need my business. I went there with every intention of buying a car from them. Of course I was very disappointed, I really wanted that car. But even more than that I was frustrated with how this dealership conducts business, very poor customer service.Good experience. Love my new car!
by kim255 on 04/09/2012updated 06/06/2025I had a few cars in mind when I came to the dealership but none of them ended up being what I wanted. I expressed this to Rod and he made some suggestions I hadn't considered and I found a car that I love! I had a good experience and it was… stress free. Thanks![non-permissible content removed]
by Tmcc74 on 02/12/2014updated 06/06/2025Turned a lease in on a new lease the dealership was supposed to pay the remaining 3payments of the old lease which we are still trying to get them to do and it's been 4 months because of this the balance has been placed in collections and… the Manager keeps lying about having this taken care of. We are now at the point to where they won't even return phone calls. This is the worst dealership I've ever done business with and will continue to spread the word of how horrible the customer service is. They will tell you anything to make the sale then if you need anything good luck because they don't care.Don't trust them!!
by angrybird5 on 08/02/2013updated 06/06/2025Don't buy any Nissan extended warranty from them. They charged me $1500. I called other Nissan dealer. They offered me about $1000 for the same package. I tried to cancel it at Exton Nissan. They said I had to bring my car for inspection in… other dealers and price would be changed/higher. Other dealerships do not require it because my car is brand new!
