by nmusuras on 05/28/2015Recently purchased was a 2014 Mustang. The salepsperson was very helpful (had oil change done & filled tank with gas). And, the financial person was extrememly professional & courteous. However, when the car you're trading is better… detailed then the car you are purchasing that's not a good feeling. There were scratches on the hood & trunk which required the car be sent immediately to your contracted body-shop. Ryan was helping us at this point. Thanks Ryan. All and all, the car should have been detailed better as a new, certified pre-owned Ford car purchase. Other than that, I love this car. This is my fifth Mustang & this car handles like no other Mustang I have had (my trade-in was a 2012 Mustang). The salesperson was much better as compared to Pacifico-Marple Ford in Broomall (where I purchased the 2012 Mustang). That was the worst experience I have ever had while purchasing a car. So, thanks Bob for making this experience a positive one. Too bad I live 100 miles from Doylestown or Fred Beans would definitely be my go to Ford dealership. Thanks again. by kdmsm on 01/06/2010I made an appt to look at a vehicle. Went in test drove. Explained what I was looking for. I was told they had vehicle on (SISTER lot) was trying to buy before 31 Dec for Tax credit..Signed agreement to buy.. was told vehicle would be in… about 2 days.. 2 days pass was told they FOUND a vehicle for me that has 250 miles on it.. I told them not acceptable.. Note this vehicle was supposed to be on their sister lot.. found out vehicle was in Philadelphia I think Frankford.. and it would incur more miles to be driven to them.. They told me they had another vehicle on it way sent me the sticker by email.. Same thing hold me off. I started looking again on my own and found a NEW vehicle 31 miles from [another dealership] in Ambler would definitely buy from them.. In the mean time I gave Fred Beans 1000 dollars for the original vehicle as a show of faith to buy. When I realized THERE was no vehicle coming I asked for it back.. was told I had to wait until check clear their system.. oh and that they could have a vehicle in 2 weeks for me! I was told that the check should be available Jan 5-6 even though It cashed out of my account 2 days after I gave it to them.. IT took me to call around to the Accounts Receivable/Accounts payable and then the Finance Mgr office to get my check.. I was told just fax over proof check cashed.. which told me that the Salesman Chris Escue ... (DO NOT DO BUSINESS HE LIED TO ME NUMEROUS TIMES) could have had my check last week.. I faxed the information and got my money back. Point here these people will sell their mother's for a sale and be dishonested. I admit I was asking for certain colors for the vehicle.. IF they could not accommodate don't lie.. Well through all the hell from BEANS!!! I ended up with a beautiful Escape loaded with Navigation from a honest dealership...[other dealership]Dealer visit

by ginod1 on 05/04/2014updated 06/03/2025Awful customer service!!!! My wife was in the market for a new car but had very little credit, which we explained right up front. At first the salesman, Paul, was very nice. Took us for test drive and talked us up. After running a credit… check and finding that my wife was not accepted by Ford it was as if we had the plague. I had tried to call Paul to set up another appointment, even stopping in and speaking to him briefly to set up a time to come back later that day. He set a time..I showed up..no Paul. I left a message for him to call, not telling them what I had planned (which was to purchase the vehicle myself) No call from Paul..ever, even after calling the next day to try and speak with him! As it turned out was treated very, very well by another dealership (that I was actually dealing with at the same time) and bought the car from them. Fred Beans and Paul will NEVER get my business!Great Experience 2 Times

I liked that he took the time to take us to other FB lots to look for a used car for our daughter. A week later we went to look at a used vehicle and Chris got us a… better deal on a 2012 car.
