Terrible experience!
by jamielee07 on 09/25/2007I will NEVER return to this Mazda dealer or any in that matter! I am extremely frustrated with the fact that they sold me a $15,000 for $30,000! The car was a terribly deal and i will NEVER recommend a Mazda or the Mazda dealership in… Allentown PA! I am almost in debit because of this car! Please take my word as a purchaser of a Mazda RX8, do not waist your time or money on these cars or people! This company never even called me once for a check up on my car! My sales man, Jeremy is probably on a vacation in Hawaii with the money he received from my over payed car!""QUOTE"" I will NEVER return to this Mazda dealer or any in that matter! This company never even called me once for a check up on my car! My sales man, Jeremy is probably on a vacation in Hawaii with the money he received from my over payed car! I was in the market for a new car and researching dealers in the area and I just couldn't resist commenting on this. Are you REALLY this stupid?? I have to imagine this is a joke or a disgruntled ex employee because otherwise you just reached a new plateau of stupidity in my book. So your attesting that a dealer somehow managed to sell you a car at 200% of its actual value??? And what does "in debit" mean??? Hahaha, or "waist your time"?? Did you actually graduate 3rd grade? And not for nothing, but a bank will only finance about 100-110% of the cars value so I'm pretty sure you're referring to depreciation of a new car. And that happens when you buy any new vehicle...you buy a a car for 30k you drive it for 2 years, if you trade out of it because you're "in debits" its worth about 15k...thats just what happens to cars. Either way you are a complete and utter moron and shouldn't even be allowed to drive much less post on the Internet. And if you pull up the "invoice" here on Edmunds, theres about 1800-2000dollars markup on an RX8...so ya your "salesperson" prob made like 300-500dollars on selling a $30k car...dont think hes going on too lavish a vacation with that.
Good Experience
by rocketron1 on 07/31/2007I had a good experience at Scott Mazda. They did play some of the typical car seller games, but at the end of the day I felt I got a fair deal without too much effort. It helped to come in knowing what you want and how much the car costs… (Thank You Edmunds). I wish I had done more work on my trade in valve because they low balled me on that but we got to a reasonable value after an hour. My biggest compliant is that they took for ever to get the paper work done. All together it was 4 1/2 hours from coming in and driving out with a new car (no test drive). They were good on giving me nearly invoice price which was nice. Also the "car life insurance" was a new one to me (5K if your car is stolen or totaled in the first 5 years for $500). Can't blame them for tryingGreat experience, Great salesperson
by zazou1 on 08/07/2013updated 08/31/2025I have purchased two Volvo's this year at Scott. Both times worked with Beth- no pressure and they pulled up Exmunds TMV and worked the deal from there. The second purchase was through the Costco program and I got an XC60 for $2750 under… invoice.
I also got a brand new car from them too and was also WAY over charged! I can not get out of it because it is not nearly worth what I am paying for it! They were lying awful sales people and my car sucks!! All I have is problems with it and when I take it in they say its fine...B.S!! Also they ran my credit so many times and ruined it..they dropped it so much that I couldnt get a car from anywhere else so I had to get the one I got!!
