$ 200 to tighten a wire
by jsmithsail on 12/07/2023I was frustrated when my normal mechanic couldn't read the "codes" because only a dealership could on 1/2 of the readings-- but then almost $200 just to look and then it was lose connection that tool 2 min to sew tighter ...not even sure… the service guy ever looked at anythingCaring team members

Low Ethics Quotient
by anonymous9 on 01/30/2008My wife took her car in to have a leak repaired. It had been leaking for a year or two before I convinced her that was why it started to smell when left out in the rain. We have had the car for 36 1/2 months, so they refused to honor the… express warranty on this repair. However, there has to be some implied warranty of fitness for use or condition - or just plain doing the right thing - especially considering it was garaged most of its life. They told her it would be $89 to fix, which she did begrudgingly agree to pay - you know, if they fixed the leak. So an hour later and some questions about where she had seen the leak and they couldn't find ANYTHING. Being that it seems to leak so easily to me, after a few hours in the rain it stinks and there is water pooled under the floor mat, I have to question their competence at this point. Then, they informed her that she still had to pay the fee and that they wouldn't return the keys until she paid. I certainly won't be having them do any more service on her car. Nor will I be buying my next car from any Kendall affiliate - something I was almost sure to do very soon. Way to go for that $89.
