GREAT deal on my new 2024 Jetta GLI and I couldn't be more impressed.

Milo Flores was my sales person and honestly I couldn't have been more impressed and satisfied with his efforts to help me get the BEST deal on my brand new 2024 Jetta GLI 40th Anniversary edition! He went above and beyond for me, even going as far as replying to a message when he wasn't even on the clock (sorry about that Milo). My experience here was great, and I've owned A LOT of Volkswagens over the years and have dealt with many dealerships. Go here if you want to be treated with respect and be taken care of the best! VW for life <3 Note: The only thing I wasn't super impressed with was the 3% credit card charge, but I guess that's a small price to pay when you get such a good deal on your brand new car ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    I refinanced my lease end Passat. I still love it so much and it has been an amazing car the whole time I have owned it. Thank you Dillon for making it so easy and quick I am used to sitting at dealerships for hours but this was so simple and I was in and out!

    I had the tdi trade in and dillon helped me get into a gti even though there was a lot of hoops to jump through I was very happy at the end of the day because he worked very hars to get me what I wanted for an even better payment than I was expecting! Go see him if your interested in a VW!!!

    I generally only take time to review a business or an individual if the service was particularly exceptional or particularly problematic. Dillon Wasserburger, who sold me my new car, was exceptional. Working with him from start to finish was a pleasure. He was clear, direct, and very knowledgeable about the vehicle that I ordered (a manual, 4 Motion Sportswagen). From the time I placed the order, to the time I picked it up (many months later) I was informed regularly and kept up to speed on the progress of my order. I trusted and felt in completely good hands with Dillon. All requests made before, during and after my purchase were, and have been quickly and honestly answered. This is the second new Volkswagen I've purchased from Herzog Meier, and working with Dillon was by far a high point. I will definitely refer friends to Dillon, and think he has a bright future with your dealership.

    My wife and I purchased a 2017 Passat SE from Herzog Meier in Feb 2017. We went to 7 other dealers and I can tell you that this was by far the least pressure, most informative dealership in Portland. They helped us on everything from price to color to testing out 5-6 different vehicles on the lot and with different trim packages. We loved working with Naser & Emily to find our car and they certainly went above and beyond to ensure that we enjoyed our car buying experience and got into the right vehicle. P.S. As an architect, I also appreciated that the name is a combination of two extremely famous architects.

    I have bought two prior cars from Herzog Meyer. I can’t say I have ever had a great experience but I just assumed this the way of the car purchase world. That all changed on 02-05-17. I had inquired with the dealer about a 2017 GTI and even test drove it the day before. I was handed around to multiple workers Ayman Achour, Stepanie Tichner, Ashley, and finally Richard Kim. All of these people did not communicate with one another. Ayman who appeared to be the head was confrontational and was telling me prices from other dealers on the same car were fake. He wanted me to prove the other prices the dealers were offering and accused me of making things up. His tone and attitude was way out of bounds. He then told me that I could not get a $1000 loyalty bonus as my partner owns a VW. I knew this was not true as I contacted VW and read the requirements. When he was proven wrong by his manager he did not even apologize. Finally in frustration with Ayman I was placed in touch with a manager Ron. He was clear on offers, incentive and set thing up for a purchase the next day. I then went in on 02-05-17 seal the deal. I walked in and once got a new worker. This time it was Richard Kim. He was cold sterile and unfriendly. He handed me some numbers sheets as I requested. Of course they attempted to steal from me on my trade in (expected when trading). I said I wanted a little something more as my car was immaculate and with ever option. He was sticking to a trade in quote they offered without even seeing my car. Mind you something more would have been as little as a tiny sum of $100 (the trade was worth $14500). Then in a cold unbending tone told me no way and refused to explain how they came up with the appraisal value for my trade in. I politely stated I did not know if I could make the deal. Richard then left me sitting at the table and went into another room (the other room had him and his other sales people behind glass staring at me). I just sat there for 10 minutes. I then got up called another dealership Dick Hannah VW. I said it’s your lucky day. Richard was not too smart and left me his price sheets signed by his manager. All of a sudden the manager from the back came out looking around at where I was. Not a one came up and talked to me so I left. I then sent the price sheets to Dick Hannah and they gave me a better deal. Dick Hannah was fair polite and made the experience excellent. The moral of the story is, if you want my experience or the chance of me experience more power to you. If you want to be treated fairly and with respect go somewhere else.
    • Everyone involved at Herzog-Meier regrets being unable to complete the Volkswagen GTI transaction with you. Despite the challenges you experienced, everyone involved worked very hard to meet your expectations. Prior to your appointment we prepared everything you requested including all of the transaction scenarios and had the two vehicles you requested parked in a covered area for you to compare simultaneously side-by-side. We also included the lease and purchase proposals you asked for, providing you 15 payment options on both vehicles including the Kelly Blue Book trade value on your Volvo C30 and your preferred lender rate sheet. We are truly sorry our attempt to be completely transparent and provide you with the best service at all your requests was not received as such. We are pleased however that you were able to purchase a Volkswagen GTI. Herzog-Meier has been serving the community for over 60 years; we look forward to the day we might be able to re-gain your trust, working with you in the continued relationship you have with your new Volkswagen.

    I worked with Boris, and he was wonderful. I first visited the dealership in August with a specific vision in mind. I was very picky about the color, trim, etc. After doing some research together, we decided the best option was to order exactly what I wanted. Boris took care of everything, and kept me updated throughout the entire process. My car was ready mid-December, and I purchased within 30 minutes of arriving at the dealership to take a look. Of course, the car is beautiful, but it was Boris's patience and attentiveness that really closed the sale. Thank you!

    I Worked with Boris in Sales and Jake in Finance and they were excellent to deal with. They didn't move customer to customer, in turn both looked after me and sorted out everything efficiently and with a smile on their face. I couldn't have asked for better service.

    I thoroughly enjoyed meeting Chris Bush and Ayman Achour at HM today and buying my Tiguan. Ayman is a pro and know his cars and Chris was thorough and detailed on getting the paper done. I would say to miss this dealership in your search would be a mistake.

    Everything about this dealership was superb! The display room, how knowledgeable their sales personnel are, but the car itself is what sold me on it. Not only did I feel not pressured into my decision but this had to have been the fastest process I've ever experienced when buying/leasing a vehicle. Nick Perez was excellent answering my questions, coordinating test drives for any vehicle I requested, and of course, expediting the final process. Thank you for making this the best experience at car purchasing/leasing ever!

    Had the pleasure of working with Richard Kim at HM VW. He was honest, willing to go the extra mile, and was extremely helpful in finding me the exact vehicle I wanted - I was very particular about my trim, color and model. He found it in another state, which is something Dick Hannah just couldn't accomplish. No bait and switching here. Great guy, great dealership and great car!

    We enjoyed a smooth, efficient and customer focused purchasing experience at Herzog-Meier for the purchase of our new VW Jetta. From the very start, when Herzog-Meier found the vehicle we wanted (a hard to find 5 spd manual SE) and gave us an internet quote for it, through the process of test drive, vehicle inspection and questions, documentation, financing, vehicle prep to us driving out the door, the staff exhibited excellent customer service. There was no quibbling, no surprises, and no pushing.. Our questions were all answered, and the entire process was started and completed in a relatively short period of time. We are very happy both with the vehicle and with the purchase process. We would especially like to thank both Richard Kim and Cameron MacLean for their efficient, timely and professional assistance. One of our best ever car purchasing experiences. Highly recommendable.

    I purchased a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited with 104k miles and paid cash. I too was made to pose in front of the car with an "AS IS" sign in my hand so they could take a photo. The only redeeming part about the vehicle turned out to be the "fairly new tires". So far in the first month I've had to have the front differential rebuilt, and replaced a defective catalytic converter. I took it back to my local mechanic for a bearing noise in the rear axle, when they opened the differential metal fragments were laying in the case and some of the gears were missing big chunks of metal. So far the grand total for this Jeep POS is $2500 plus the original purchase price! BEWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIP!! They will sell you crap and not care at all.

    This is the 3rd new VW I've purchased from Herzog Meier and the experience was great once again. I can't say enough about Ayman (our salesman) and how easy it was to get a quote online and walk in the door to buy the car. No hassle or negotiation... Just easy!!
