    I purchased new tires and an alignment for my Honda. Everything was fine, but when I got home I noticed that there is a lot of goop all over the tires and wheels. I’ve never had my car look this messy after getting new tires.

  • Disappointing Experience

    Called and scheduled an appointment for B7 maintenance. Was told it would take 1 1/2 to 2 hours. I planned to wait. When I arrived the next day for the appointment I had to wait for a service advisor. Then was told it would take 3 + hours since they were very busy even though I had an appointment. So I took the shuttle home. When I picked up my van the key number on the ticket was incorrect so I was giver the wrong key fob. I was sent out to locate my van. There were three odysseys all the same color in the area. They were all backed in so I couldn’t see the license plates to determine which was mine. Upon pressing the key fob a CRV blinked its lights. So I had to get the service advisor to find my key. Very poor service compared to the Toyota dealer where we take our other vehicle.

    I was completely pleased with my visit from start to finish.i was informed of the progress during the day and once the job was finished I was promptly contacted. Once there I only had to wait a few minutes to see Scott. He explained everything to me and answered all of my questions.

    One of my biggest pet peeves about taking my car to a dealership is that I have taken a vehicle to a dealership and was then surprised to find that they had performed unrequested or unauthorized service. Every time I’ve had my car serviced at South Point Honda they always give me an up front estimate of the work I want done and an estimated time when it would be done. That’s the way it should be done.

  • Battery replacement

    took my 2012 Honda Accord in to get the Battery replaced. The Battery was replaced June 10th, 2022 at 115,211 miles . It is 21 months old and the car has 139,000. Evidently when it was replaced then I didn't get a full warranty because when it was replaced they split the price because it was pro-rated. At that time I paid $120.12. The Service Rep. " Scott" couldn't find record of when the one before that was bought because the Service Rep. then didn't note it. Bottom line if they pro-rated it today I wouldn't have received much of a discount and wouldn't have any warranty at all or I could pay $180.00 and get a warranty. Moreless I paid $120 the last time for a 21 month Battery that I could've purchased at Walmart for $69 and got a 2 yr. free replacement. So it was a no brainer to take my business to Walmart's......

  • Got the job done…late and with poor communication

    Was told I could receive same day service for cable recall if I took my car in first thing in AM. Arrived at assigned time (820 AM) and after not hearing anything all day, we called around 5 to check in. We were told the car wouldn’t be available until the next day at 12. When I called to verify car was ready the next day, I was told “I didn’t think we’d get it done until Monday!” I had oil changed by same dealer in Jan and was told that completing the review would earn me 2 gas fill ups. I asked for one of these during this service. They said they would do it but did not do it.

    I bought my Accord from Southpointe and have only ever had it serviced there since I've had it for 5 years. I've never had a complaint about this service department. It's top notch.

  • Longest oil change

    They do it well and I had a coupon. I was told a little over an hour for the oil and filter change and it took almost 3.

    Great Service Representative Matthew. Thought I had a nail in my driver side, front tire. Took in and got it back quickly And they performed the 90 day check on my car. All issues resolved. 👍👍

  • Very unprofessional and very disappointing

    I made an appointment to have my oil changed online. When I showed up to the dealership, I was ignored by everyone for almost 10 minutes. No other customers were inside at the time. So I went back to my car and waited there. Eventually someone came out to get my car. I was told it could take 1-2 hours since they had multiple cars ahead of me. I went inside and waited. Almost 2 1/2 hours later I received a text saying they completed the inspection and I need additional work done on my car. I agreed to the services and waited longer. After waiting for a total of 3 1/2 hours I texted asking for an update on my cars status. I was told they were doing the paperwork. Another 20 minutes later I was finally able to pay for the services and go to my car. My car was a mess, they left papers in my car, and they did not put an updated sticker with the new oil change mileage on my windshield. My car seems to run well and I have not had any issues with the engine since it was fixed two hours ago. The lack of care for their customers, lack of communication, and disrespect of others time is disappointing. I would recommend not having appointment spots available if you can not take care of the customer during that time. Also, please great your customers and acknowledge their existence. I understand we are all busy and it can be overwhelming. But this experience has caused me to never return to your dealership.

  • Oil change / tire rotation

    The oil change and tire rotation were done timely until the TPMS went off within the first two miles just before I arrived at Costco to fill up. The tires looked ok so I drove back to the dealership- supposedly fixed it and I was on my way again. Was 13 miles away and it came on again- not happy.
