I still don't understand why it cost me anything or why it took so long. Also, I ask that my tires be aired up as they were all low. That did not get done.… Just forgotten in the process of making sure the problem was the battery and not something on my car. But, the new battery is good and still has over 30 months on it.UN SAFE WORKMANSHIP
by lessonlearned on 04/30/2009I recently hit a large pot hole causing the motor mount bracket to break completely in two. I took my vehicle to Keystone for repairs. That night my son checked the vehicle to assure the repairs had been done. Upon looking at the… underside along the car frame and along the belts and other parts of the motor, etc... he found the broken half of the motor mount bracket, over 5 inches long and about 4 inches wide. This item could have caused major damage to my vehicle or fallen under my car causing a tire to hit this item and hit another vehicle. I went to the Dealership in person to show them what was found and to explain how unhappy I was. The Manager (one of many) informed me it was not done intentional, and then asked me if I had never made a mistake. He said he would take the broken part and show them, I would not allow them to have this part because then I would no longer have any proof of this ever happening. The manager was not very concerned about this issue all had to say was nothing happened to the vehicle so no damage no harm. WHAT??? If my son had not noticed this part then there could have and the possibility was almost a 96 % it would have. I will not do any business with this dealer for anything. Which is a shame since they are about a mile from my home and with so many business's closing along with dealers going under, one would think they would be more courteous and concerned with keeping repeat customers. A repair today could lead to a new vehicle in the future. Not from them. If you have repairs done double check their work and ask ahead of time to see all old parts they replaced.
