by clanders007 on 03/09/2014updated 08/02/2025Our sales associate Ryan P.n, wouldn't not give up on finding me financing, i test drove my HHR on Saturday, at the time I left there with a heavy heart...Could not get the payment I wanted without a whole lot more down on the vehicle.… Sunday afternoon, Ryan called and said "guess what, we got what you wanted, come down and see me." On Tuesday I went down, and they did get me what I wanted. I was sent home with another car off of the lot, because mine was not ready yet. I couldn't say enough about this dealership! I am now the proud owner of a 2010 HHR!!!malibugirl

Beware of Dealer Add-Ons above advertised Prices on Autotrader
by truckbuyer2011 on 04/09/2011updated 08/02/2025This Dealer uses very deceptive and dishonest sales techniques! I responded to their Autotrader price on a truck of 7743. They also advertised a guaranteed 1000 off ANY trade-in. Drove Truck. Liked it. The salesman pulled up autotrader to… show that the advertised price of 7743 was so much better than comparable trucks. Also talke about how they offer extra services like free key replacement and such. Ok, Fine. Then he told me they had already performed 2 "Treatments" (paint & fabric) to the truck and recommended a 3rd treatment,(undercoting) that had not been done. I offered 7000 even because they told me that the 1000 off ANY vehicle was not for towed in vehicles and would only give me 600 for my van. Ok. The price the saleman came back with after talking to his manager was $9650.00 This is thousands above the Autotrader price. It's a tactic designed to get people to negotiate up from the advertised price. It is not legal to advertise a price and have added bogus treatments on the vehicle. Beware of this chain of Dealerships. Jeff Schmitt is not to be trusted. They have a con going here and are very smooth about it. Beware.They are horrible and rude. We probably got the same salesman. He was nothing but a [violative content deleted] who cared about his pocket book, not the customer..

Just couldn't pull the trigger!

I told Joe that i needed to think about it. He warned me that cars moved fast and… may not be there by the time i made my mind up. Man was her rite, the car sold less than a hour later. Hopefully he can mind me another car in the future!Blowed up car

The Finance manager REFUSED to lay out options for us with numbers in black and white! We were interested in making an… informed decision that totaled $10,000+ to either go cash, independent finance or Dealer finance assistance options. Sales Manager REFUSED to provide Options. Sales Manager attempted to SEPARATE us (Fiancé and myself) more than once! 1st time, me alone. 2nd time, my Fiance alone. Are "WE" the hard working, tax paying Americans, with buying power options deserving of being treated like criminals who are separated and interrogated?!?!?! I was profiled by a Sales Manager asking me if I was the oldest child, must have come from a large family, maybe I was a spoiled baby of the family, commenting to me that I must have never had sales experience, Wanting to know personal information about me etc. What did any of this have to do with car buying???? CREEPY! BEWARE of RAILROADING TACTICS to purchase EXTRAS+take their finance!! They are DESPERATE for every red cent!I apologize for the experience you had at our Miamisburg location. We drove 3 different cars before we found the perfect match. Joe listened to our needs and thought of… small suv 2010 journey. The whole process was very pleasant and we were treated well by many of the other salesman while we waited to hear from the bank. Tim and Bill were also very helpful in answering any last minute questions.Great salesman, Casey!
