Amazing Customer Service!
by Corey C on 10/28/2021Yesterday I went up to Jeff Schmitt Chevy just to look around at newer trucks because I've been looking around for a while and couldn't quite find what I was looking for. I met Joe Moorefield the salesman and August the finance guy and… began looking around at some of the new Z71 Silverados. At first I was skeptical due to the high price for pretty much anything these days but Joe and August worked with me and I ended up driving away with a brand new Silverado. I just have to say that this was by far the best experience I have ever had at any dealership. They treated me with the upmost respect and made me feel like family. If it wasn't for them and their great service I probably would have just walked away. Just wanted to take the time to say thanks Joe and August for making me feel like I was at home. by Larry Roach on 08/12/2021I went in Jeff Schmitt Chevrolet South to look and possibly drive a new or late model Colorado. My initial contact before I entered the show room was with one of their "Lot Personnel" and he politely asked if he could help me and then went… on to direct me to a sales person, Joe Moorefield. I told Joe I wanted to see a Colorado up close and to drive one with the 3.6 V6 engine. Joe was very much on top of things and brought one up to the show room and we drove off. Every question I asked he answered knowledgeably and professionally. The vehicle felt great and performed better than expected. Leading up to when we sat down to talk I never felt pressured which is important to me. After running some numbers and finding the exact Colorado I wanted we talked about my vehicle to be traded in. Everything fell into place and I walked away with a beautiful 2018 Colorado Z71 at the monthly rate I was hoping to get. Great customer service all around. The whole way out there I was telling myself "this is a huge… waste of time. They're not going to give me the deal I want. Why am i doing this?" But low and behold I met up with Tim Gray, we sat down and I made my offer and they took it. Tim Barker was there so we worked with him since he was so nice to work with the first time. August worked very quickly… and didn't do the typical 4 hour negotiation, we were done in an hour or less figuring out the deal. Eric was very helpful and accomodating as well. My wife and I had a great time and it felt like we made 10 new friends during this process since we interacted with other salesmen and office folks. I love my New Truck!!
