Good and prompt service

Chris R, Service Advisor has been more than helpful. I've actually taken my cars in a couple of times expecting large service… costs. Instead, Chris called to tell me that there were no serious problems and that a minor adjustment was all that was required. My cost was very low. As long as this type of service continues, I'll continue to take my cars to Germain Honda for all services.Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to let others know about your experience with Chris and us here at Germain Honda of Dublin. No car wash

Everytime I go to this dealership for service (approx once a year). they bring the car back and it is not washed. when I tell them this. I get all the attitude and lies that they did wash it. This… time I showed them the bird droppings on the car to prove that it was not washed. the result is that I have to wait another 20 mins to get it washed (again or finally)professional.

Pleasant car purchase

Options and other warranty features were explained but no pressure was given to purchase additional items that we weren't interested in. Our choice of vehicle, the Honda CRV,… was based on our trade in, a 10 year old Saturn VUE. After a decade we were very comfortable with a small 4 door - rear hatch SUV. It met all of vehilcle needs. Our sales lady, did a nice job. She understood the features of the Honda CRV and helped us finalize or choice from the selection they had on hand. ( The did have the full range of 2013 models and most of the 2012 models in stock. ) Overall the sales person was very good. She wasn't rushed to hurry up the sale, she wasn't pushy, just a nice pleasant person who understood the cars and asked the right questions to help us get the vehicle we wanted. The business manager who did all the paper work was very good. Professional, personable, quick and made us very comfortable while we completed all the forms. Our new car was all ready, cleaned, full tank of gas, and ready to go after we finished the paper work. Here we meant a person in a new position to us that made sure we understood how to use the features of our new car. The basic items really haven't changed any, but the radio, dash display, bluetooth, sun roof, and programing some of the features was really made easy with the help from the service tech. Honestly, some of bluetooth, display, door lock options once set likely will never be changed by us nor would they ever need to be, having that done for us was wonderful. The after sale service isn't a concern for us, we own other honda vehicles, purchased from this dealer and already knew they provided excellent service.Excellent Experience at Germain Honda

Quick and honest
by themanindbox on 06/26/2013updated 08/07/2025Best place to buy a car, they are very honest, and as long as you know what you are willing to pay, they will work with you on meeting that number. I purchased a 2013 Accord LX from them recently, and had purchased a 2007 SI from them in… 2007, both times they were able to get me a cheap APR loan, and were able to get me top dollar on my trades. I walked out with a deal for 16K for a new accord after trading in two low mile Toyota's that were both 13 years old. While that may not sound like a good deal that is 9k less then sticker, and a new car. I would recommend them as the first stop, not only for that reason, but they carry cars that have manual transmissions, where you will find most dealers have to special order them. Additionally, if you do need to special order one, they can make that happen as well. Great dealer.. If you stop in see Mark in new car sales.. He offered input on the vehicle that we considered and also pointed out some features of the competitors that we did not know about. At no time was pressure put on us to… purchase additional upgrades or warranties, but they did go over the options and made it clear that the decision was entirely our own. Jack L. was also great, he worked with us on our down payment as we wanted to charge the whole thing to our credit card (airline points) and he was thorough when going over all the paperwork. What a Car Shopping Experience Should Be
by driver132 on 04/01/2014updated 08/07/2025I have visited Germain Honda on 2 separate occasions in the last 2 years. Both times the experience was pleasant. Two years ago when I was shopping for my daughters first car I test drove a Honda Accord. Although I did not end up buying the… car the salesman was very friendly and helpful. He even worked up the numbers for me so that I could think about it. There was no pressure, and no annoying phone calls afterwards. After learning my Odyssey was deemed a total loss after and accident last week I visited Germain again. Once again the experience was pleasant. I ended up being helped by the same salesman, which I now know is John - or Smitty, as he told me. He was very helpful in showing me around and explaining the differences in the trim levels of the CR-V's and Accords. He even went inside and printed off a list of every one they had on the lot for me to look at and take with me. I decided to test drive a CR-V. By the time I was out of the bathroom he had the car pulled around and sent someone to put more gas in it. While we waited for the car to return he was nice enough to help me figure out what may be a fair or expected price from my insurance company for my Odyssey and even printed things out for me! What a pleasant experience after visiting Ricart and Hugh White Honda the day before, where I was talked down to and treated like a nuisance. I would not hesitate to buy a car from this dealer. Honest, knowledgable, friendly people. I hope they have a vehicle I want when I have to make my final decision.Thank you for your kind review. not very happy

He was one of the rudest car salesman I have seen. He raised his voice and accused me in wasting his time and not… being ready to buy... 30 min. later I bought my Hyundai Elantra and can't be happier. I saved $3000 fof a sportier car with much better warranty 5 years/ 60,000 miles and 10 years/100,000 miles power train warranty. Heated seats, for lights, alloy wheels, blue tooth.... roomier inside...We sincerely apologize for your experience at our dealership. No client should ever experience a visit such as you described.
