    How much do you value your time? Do you like waiting for promises to be kept only to be let down? Look no further than Germain Ford of Columbus and their Quick Lane, where they tell you to have a seat, help yourself to some coffee, and wait until they send you a text letting you know your vehicle is ready. And the text that never comes. Sure, they'll text you asking if you want to add additional services, but will not confirm when your vehicle is ready. And no technician will come to find you to summarize the visit. When you check in with the cashier after waiting for so long, she'll let you know that your vehicle has been ready for over 30 minutes and will have to have a word with the technician about why he didn't let the customer know that the vehicle was ready. But you can depend on QuickLane for consistency. We're 2 for 2 with visits just like this.
    • Dear JE: Thank you for reaching out. Unfortunately, we are still experiencing staffing shortages due to Covid. Recently, we had Technician in Quick Lube test positive after he was infected by a family member. Obviously, this creates a huge hardship for everyone. I agree it is frustrating for you as it is for us. My apologies that James and Charlie did not give you the level of service to meet your expectations. It is a constant struggle that hopefully will be behind us soon. Thank you again. Germain Ford Service

    It used to be difficult to get an update on the service or a response regarding service from a service staff. Since they implemented a texting option, however, their communication has greatly improved. In my last visit, they did a great job keeping me in the loop about the service needed and the expected completion time. Also, they found a way to find me a loaner car - after initially saying they couldn’t get me one - because they didn’t want me to be without a car over the weekend.

  • Faster than Expected!

    I had my Escape in for a recall and had read in the letter from Ford that the repair could take up to 4 hours if my car had the problem. I was pleased when my Service Rep told me that so far, he hadn't seen one Escape with the problem so his expectation was it would just take half an hour, which enabled me to replan my day. The inspection was completed in about 20 minutes so I was pleased. The Service Rep checked on me once during that time. I also love the waiting area--TV, coffee, tables for laptops and fabulous bathrooms. I've been happy with the Germain Dealership for 21 years!

    Service was once again outstanding! I had an issue with my sunroof on my F150, but was resolved. It took a bit of time to get the parts but the way things are these days its understandable. Also had routine service for 35,000 miles Each time the service guys are very professional and communicate with any issues and when my truck is ready for pickup. I always come to Germain service since they know mt truck and can spot any upcoming issues. Great service!
