    JT Dula is the best Sales Associate my Wife and I have ever purchased a vehicle from. Courteous, Kind, Knowledgeable, Personable. Along with a great vehicle test drive, Mr. Dula explained the vehicle options and answered all our questions. I would recommend this group of guys to everyone that needs a New or Used Ford Vehicle.   • No Customer Service

    I went to purchase my truck here on the 4th of Dec. My sales person would not fight for anything I requested. The loan person was awesome since I had already been approved for a loan through my CU, he tried to beat their rate and did so. Tuesday the 4th they allowed me to drive it home and come back next day after they had gotten a better rate. Well that evening I had gotten in the truck to drive back home to Leicester. When on highway I realized they had given me this truck with an 1/8th of a tank of gas. So had to stop and fill it up. When I returned on the 5th I told the finance guy about this and he called my sales guy up to go fill up. Which he did do that. I really needed nerf bars because it really is uncomfortable climbing into my truck, but he wouldn't budge on trying to get them. I almost walked out due to this fact. Then after all papers signed he didn't even walk out to truck with me and show me all the dash stuff which is a lot. So I will be reading the book on it if there is one. So would I recommend Paramount Ford yes as long as the sales person I dealt with doesn't do your next sale. He left his desk numerous times dealing with other stuff when I should have been the priority since I was the customer purchasing the vehicle. Thank you.

    The team at Paramount Valdese was excellent! From my initial chat with the online specialist to the end of the day when I left the lot with my new (well, new to me) car, I was helped by a great team. Dustin Gross was my sales associate and he was very professional, was in no way pushy or pressuring, a knowledgeable young man with a great personality and was very helpful in helping me get the car I really wanted. He was upfront with me every step of the way. The sales managers who worked with me on my trade in and my financing were great to work with as well. They were willing to take a second look at my trade in value and a second look at financing options - both of which I greatly appreciate. Thank you team Paramount!

  • Sold me an unsafe Jeep

    This dealership sold me a 2011 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon with 75,000 miles on it back in October. I felt a shaking in the rear end last Monday and took it in to have my mechanic check it out and he said its going to need most of the rear end, transfer case and clutch redone, not to mention many other issues that are making the Jeep unsafe to drive. Brent Buff told me when i spoke to him over the phone that they did an inspection on the vehicle, i asked him if it included checking the engine, drive-train and suspension and he said yes (which now he denies ever says that). I have been in contact through email and over the phone with Mr. Buff multiple times in the last week about sending me the copy of the inspection he says they performed or at least sending me a list of the things that were inspected before they put the car up for sale on their lot, he is now refusing to respond to my emails, since i am no longer willing to call the dealership because from now on i want written documentation of all interactions between myself and the Dealership. If anyone at the dealership that is in management would please email me asap to resolve this issue i would appreciate it. Brent Buff has my email address. I will also be updating this post with what happens from here on out. I will also be posting a list of the things wrong with the jeep once my local mechanic finishes his inspection and diagnosis. - Jean

    I'm one of those weird ones who truly enjoys shopping for a new vehicle. I like to do my research and be ready for the "challenge"; mostly to see how honest and knowledgeable the people are who I will be dealing with. I found everyone I came in contact with at Paramount Ford to be straightforward, knowledgeable and honest. I would recommend Michael Connell to my best friend because of his knowledge and caring approach!

  • Pass at Least 4 Ford Dealers to get to Paramount

    We live in Huntersville and pass at least 4 other Ford dealers to get to Paramount in Valdese. We have bought our last 3 new Ford vehicles from Michael at Paramount, with the last one being an F150 truck this past weekend. Michael always gives us the best trade in value and the best new car deal, hands down. We do all of our dealings with him over the phone before taking the long trek to Valdese to pick up the car. All 3 of the vehicles we bought from Michael were not even on his lot. We search the internet and tell him which vehicle we want then he gets us the best deal and gets the financing secured. Then after we all agree to the trade in and cost, he gets the vehicle brought to his lot and all we have to do is come in and sign the papers (now electronic) which takes us less than an hour. Michael is always very accommodating, respectful, and very pleasant and easy to deal with. No pushy sales at all…so nice. He listens to what you really want and he tries to get exactly that (price included). I feel so lucky to have found Michael and Paramount Ford. I highly recommend these guys! We don't even consider doing any car shopping without including Paramount Ford in our search. Michael and Paramount Ford deserve every star of the 5 start rating!

  • Who actually likes shopping at car dealerships?

    If you’re anything like me you probably don’t like shopping for a car and having to deal with the salesmen at the dealerships. I usually do all the research that I can online and then check out the cars on the lot when the dealerships are closed just so I won’t be bothered with the salesmen. I usually look forward to talking with a salesman about as much as I look forward to talking with my ex wife. I needed a new truck and was dreading the whole upcoming dealership experience. I’m pleased to say my dealings with Michael Connell at Paramount Ford were a pleasant experience. Last Tuesday I did a search for the truck I was looking for on the USAA Auto Buying Service website. I immediately got responses from three dealerships in the area with price quotes for a vehicle like I was searching for. None of them had what I was looking for in stock and of course all of them responded saying they had vehicles on the lot “similar” to what I was searching for. Wednesday morning I called Michael Connell at Paramount Ford as his email response to my vehicle search quoted the lowest price. I was told he was in a sales meeting and would return my call. While waiting for the return call I responded to the email from the salesman at the Hickory Ford dealership and asked for details of the truck they said was similar to what I was searching for. It’s now Friday and I’ve still received no response to my email to them. Michael returned my call and I spoke with him about what I was searching for and we arranged a meeting that afternoon so I could take a test drive. Michael showed me what Paramount Ford had on their lot that was close to what I was looking for and let me test drive one. After the test drive we went back inside the office and he searched for trucks within a 300-mile radius that met my search criteria. We came up with zero! It seemed that one of the options I desired was pretty much non-existent on any dealer lots and if I was intent on getting that particular set of options then it would have to be special ordered. We adjusted the search criteria several times and still came up with nothing that I found more desirable than what was on his lot. Michael quoted me a fair price for one of the trucks they had that actually was pretty similar to what I was looking for. I told him I’d talk it over with my wife and let him know the next day. Thursday I emailed Michael and told him we were interested in purchasing the truck if he could make the deal a little more attractive by including some options. He came through with one of the options I requested and offered to meet me half way with the other. I think that was a pretty fair response from him and I agreed to purchase the truck. Thursday afternoon I drove home with a truck I was pleased with and I purchased it for what I considered to be a fair price. To make a long story short, it was very pleasant purchasing a truck from Michael Connell at Paramount Ford. He listened to what I wanted, didn’t try to push something else on me just to make a sale and treated me with respect the entire time. I would not hesitate to contact him again to purchase another vehicle. If there was anything negative about my experience with Paramount Ford it was the Ford Credit financing. I was offered several incentives, one of them being $750 to finance with Ford Credit. Foolishly I didn’t hesitate to accept this offer as I have a great credit score and absolutely no debt so how bad could the finance rate be? Boy was I surprised when I went to sign the finance paperwork. They hit me with a whopping 5.65% finance charge on a 36-month loan. For comparison, USAA offered me 0.99% on 36 months and my credit union offers 1.75% for payroll deduction or direct transfer and 2.25% for direct pay on 36 months. Fortunately I only financed half the cost of the vehicle at this interest rate and will probably just go ahead and pay the loan off so as not to incur the finance charges resulting from the ridiculous 5.65% interest rate. This is why I give Paramount Ford a 4 out of 5 star rating. Sales gets a thumbs up but the financing gets a big thumbs down.

    Michael C and the entire sales group at Paramount Ford are first rate. We just bought our new 2015 Mustang yesterday. This is the fourth car we've bought from Michael in the last 5 years. As someone who used to be in sales, I appreciate that he does not sell, as much as expedite. No pressure and straight forward information. First rate all the way!

  • A 5 star buying experience

    I entered an internet query, and was contacted by Mark Robinson. He began the information exchange in a very friendly manner. He had to be out of town later that day and I was then contacted by Michael Connell. I was Interested in a Flex. Michael submitted a couple of selections when I realized it was going to be over my budget. I was perusing the inventory on-line, and saw a 2015 Mustang. I informed Michael of my budget constraints and asked about this Mustang. He sent me a worksheet, including buying out the lease in which I was stuck. All of the numbers came in exactly where I wanted to be, with Quincy finding a lower rate than my bank. Everyone with whom I dealt made this the most enjoyable car buying experience I've ever had making Paramount THE professional, no-pressure dealership. Oh yeah ... I love my new Mellow Yellow Mustang.     I had a very pleasant experience at Paramount Ford which is a lot for me to say. I am very apposed to pushy sales. I researched a 2014 Ford Edge Sport at the dealership and went to the dealership and asked Travis for help. Travis was very freindly and helpful answered all my questions and we were able to get close enough to my target that I traded my Hundyai Sonota in.   • I'll buy that

    My husband finally agreed that I really must be serious about wanting a Mustang. Recently we set out for Paramount Ford in Valdese to look at a pre-owned one we’d seen online. I spoke to Michael C earlier in the week and was impressed by his friendly voice and demeanor during our telephone conversations. We arrived at the dealership earlier than expected. If he was busy on another project he didn’t show it and was fully ready to give us his complete time and attention from the moment we walked on the lot. We looked at a few different models but gravitated to a pretty little 2012 black convertible and took it for a test drive. During this time my husband wanted to be “sold” on why we should buy this particular car. Michael did not use any type of “slick” or “high pressure” tactics – which I very much appreciated. His manner is to be low-key, to answer any questions, and let the car sell itself – which it did. Once we made our decision Michael helped us with all the necessary paperwork and transfers. We also worked with Scott M in Paramount’s finance department to explore various payment options – again without feeling uneasy about sales pitches. And Travis – who answered the phone - also was very helpful when I called a few weeks later with a follow-up question. Our experience with the Paramount Ford team in Valdese was very good and we certainly recommend them. Plus it’s a very pretty drive up Hwy. 16 to I-40 and not too far from the Charlotte area.

    Scott was such a pleasure to work with and made an otherwise very stressful situation very easy and pleasant. Scott treated me with the up most respect and as a woman that is saying a lot. I had totaled my car and was in need of another and had not ever purchased a car on my own before. I had been looking for more than two weeks and had come in contact with several different salesmen and being a woman I was not always taken seriously and at times was made to feel as though I didn't have a clue about what I was looking for or doing. That was not the case when I began talking with Scott. Scott listened to what I wanted in a car and what I was looking for and understood my budget. Never once did he pressure me into going over what I had stated I could afford and worked hard to keep me in that budget. He also never made me feel as though my budget was ridiculous or impossible(as others had made me begin to feel). He treated me with respect and did not make me feel like I didn't know anything but made me feel as though I was important and that he would do everything in his power to make it happen for me. And that is exactly what he did! Not only that but I live almost two hours away and he saved me a trip and had my car delivered. To go from never buying a car on my own to buying a car sight unseen was for me both crazy and amazing. I would definitely buy another car from Scott McKinney and Paramount Ford and have told everyone I know about my experience! I have to say it was a wonderful experience and I know Scott went out of his way on his end to make it the great experience it was for me. Thank you, Scott!!!!!!! You have a lifetime customer in me! Maybe the next time I buy a car from you we will actually get to meet in person! But if not I know that any car I buy from you will be all you say it is and so much more and that you will always treat me with respect and make the experience great! I love my 2005 Chevy Equinox!!!!!!!!

    Every person I encountered from day one was professional and provided quick responses to my questions and concerns. Randy Pennell called me back each time at the time he said he would. He had a selected sales person (Travis Hauffman) waiting for me when I arrived on the lot. The sale went quickly and with full respect. The Business Mgr., Quincy Drum was also very professional and provided me with the information I needed to make the purchase a success. If you're looking to buy a car give Paramount Ford in Valdese a try. They can get any car any where.
