by Patel on 12/14/2018All we wanted was to get sticky dashboard of the car changed. After we got call that car is fixed we picked up on Nov 11,2018. It has been exact 2 days. Car started showing Battery sign first on car indicator. Then it showed ABS sign and… now car not even start. This was fairly good running car. All we wanted car Dashboard changed not to get broken car. If there was a negative rating I will give them that instead of this low rating. Not worth my time for sure as I didn’t pay a dime for recall. But if I take car now it will cost me more than what I would have paid for recall replacementBeware
by Robertdc on 09/20/2017Do not believe the family plan hype of free oil change. You must get their other overpriced services to get that oil change. I have no idea how they have a 5 star rating. I feel ripped off almost every time. You get charged for alignments… and rotations that are not performed, even charged ($35) to replace windshield wipers that was not done. I would rather go visit a dentist. I love my Toyota but would never purchase from Fred Anderson again because of the maintenance department.Lack of Integrity

If you try to put something over on someone, it will come back to haunt you." â Victor Kiam, Owner of New England Patriots and Remington Products Integrity is one of the basic tenets of doing business. If a handshake and an offer on paper are not a basis for doing business, then business cannot be cannot be done. From my experience, Fred Anderson lacks this basic integrity and therefore I cannot recommend attempting to do business with them. After spending all weekend on used car lots and in customer lounges getting my Toyota 4Runner appraised for sale and negotiating a figure, Fred Anderson Toyota's Pre-owned sales staff had made the highest offer. After some back and forth between a sales manager and salesman (whose names I will omit) we came to an agreement. I had been honest from the start and told them I had one more dealership left on my list and that I would call them with a yes or no. I left with a figure on paper and a handshake. The next dealership could not beat the offer, so I called back to Fred Anderson to check if the offer still stood, and was told yes. I notified all the other dealerships that I had a higher offer on my way to fill out the paperwork at Fred Anderson. When I arrived, I was told the finance staff were swamped with other customers and that it would be better if I came back the next day. The next day, I made arrangements at work and took time off to go to Fred Anderson to complete the paperwork. There was another sales manger on staff that day and he didn't like the figure we had negotiated the prior day. He made up an excuse about a couple of light dents on the roof and handed me the lowest figure I had seen in three days. I explained that I was not there for negotiations as we had already completed the process the day prior and had reached a deal. I showed him the paper offer and explained that we had shaken hands over the figure the prior day and that my time was being disrespected. After over an hour of this, I was told "We're going to have to let you walk. We appreciate your time." ... "We appreciate your time." ... It is this thoughtless, empty, canned sentiment and the general lack of basic integrity that will keep me, my family, my friends, and hopefully whoever reads this review from doing business with Fred Anderson Toyota.Very disappointed
by josephr2 on 04/14/2017Moved to Cary from Boston and used Fred Anderson for all my service needs for over 5 years. Had great service and trust. When it came time to trade my Highlander in for new model I experienced a very stressful and uncomfortable experience.… I had researched the price of new model and trade in value of my car. The sales person and manager tried to overcharge on new model and under value my trade in car. I feel they were relying to take advantage of fact my wife and I were seniors in our 70's. After much stress and tension we left and bought a Hyundai.Great place to buy a car :)

Service manager double check previous history so I didn't duplicate in 120,000 mile service, thus spending unnecessarily, car service I had already had done.
