    Outstanding sales and service. Our salesman was extremely knowledgeable, a great listener, patient and thorough in explaining all of the features and benefits of our K900 as well as comparative information on other models. My wife and I spent a great deal of time with Tim Whitener and he was most helpful to us in our decision to purchase our new car.

    Buying a car from Paramount Kia was the easiest and most stress-free car-buying experience ever. Everyone took a personal interest in my needs in a car and went completely out of their way to make me feel comfortable in making my decision. When the exact model I wanted was not on the lot, they went the extra mile to find it and have if for me to drive home the very same day. I will recommend Paramount over and over again!

    Prior to visiting Paramount Kia Hickory, I visited 8 other dealerships to look at the Kia Soul and discuss their out the door price. Paramount Kia Hickory not only beat every dealership's price, they were the most friendly group of folks I met with. The service is impeccable. The whole process of purchasing my new Kia moved very quickly. Even though I live 1 1/2 hours from Paramount Kia Hickory, they have now gained a loyal customer. Great people doing great business!

  • Wonderful experience

    After a good deal of research, I knew just what I wanted: a Kia Soul. Before coming to Paramount Kia I went to several other (closer) Kia dealerships. Due to poor service, I did not return to those places. Jonathan was extremely helpful, supportive and patient with me and my husband through the whole car-buying process. We eventually decided on a 2015, and we got a great deal. The customer service we received was above and beyond expectations. Everyone at this dealership seems extremely committed to giving the best possible customer service.

    Carlton was our salesman and he was absolutely awesome. He answered any and all questions we had and filled us in on everything the vehicle we purchased had to offer. He knew exactly what we wanted and helped us get exactly what we were looking for! Sandra Billips also was wonderful in her communication with us through email and phone calls and making sure we got in and had everything we needed once we got there. Our Finance manager, I'm so sorry I cannot remember his name, helped us get the deal where we could afford it. I would definitely recommend Paramount Kia to family and friends for the friendliest, most reliable service we have found in an auto dealership!

    I came into the dealership knowing which vehicle I wanted to test drive. I test drove the 2015 Optima. I didn't see color I really wanted at first, but liked the car enough that I would settle for another color. At the time, the salesman didn't think they had the color of car with the options I was wanting on the lot. As I entered the sales office to make a deal, I noticed an Optima the color I was wanting. I asked my salesman about the car, and he was very happy to take the time to inquire about it. We agreed on price, and I was a very happy customer to get the car I wanted with a friendly sales staff.

    My husband and I has tried dsaling with other Kia dealers and none of them would cooperate with us or give at all on any of their offers until we went to the Hickory Kia dealer. Everyone that we dealt with was very nice and they really bent over backwards to help us. A new salesman helped us and and was extremely attentive and eager to please. We enjoyed working with him. The transaction took a while, but it was a complicated deal, so it was as much our fault as theirs. However, they gave us a great deal on our trade ins, even though the other Kia dealer swore up and down we wouldn't get anymore for them than what they had offered. Do NOT use the Kia of Shelby. Go to Hickory Kia. They will do everything that they can to help get you the best deal possible. Love our new Sorento!

  • Friendly and Easy

    We searched online for a car and found one at Paramount that we really wanted. When we got there, the car had been sold just the night before. We were disappointed, but the salesman was determined to find us something we would like. He sat down with us and talked to us about what we needed and really got a sense of who we were. He didn't try to sell us on something just because it was available. He really worked with us. When we found the one we wanted, we had an easy enough time doing the paperwork. I recommend bringing documentation with you if you want to take a car home the same day though! They needed check stubs and verification of address to apply for financing. The Financing department was very helpful in explaining the loan and our expectations. Our interest rate was higher than expected, but we are first time car buyers with no money down. We drove home in our car the same day even though they still need one check stub from my husband! We have lower credit scores and still got approved for a loan! We were very excited about getting approved and being able to drive home. The car we got was absolutely perfect, even though it was one model year old. It came with a factory warranty still valid, and they did a full detail inside and out before we left. The whole experience was pain free and very relaxed. A few notes: Be prepared to be there all day if you go on the weekend. We were there for four hours total!!!! Most of the time was spent waiting on the bank to approve/deny us. Leave the kids at home. We have a three year old and I did not expect to be there so long. There is NOTHING for kids to do there, and he was extremely bored. He ended up running all over the place for several hours, and the salesman did give him a balloon from a car, which helped for a little while. There are not "customer refreshments" short of coffee and water. I was a little disappointed in this, considering how long we were there. SHORT VERSION: Great service, friendly staff, easy process, but a long wait on the weekends and no entertainment/good refreshments.

    My supervisor had recommended me too go to paramount Kia to look at Soul when I told him my wife was looking wanting a Soul for her first car. So he set me up with a man he use to work with named Jonathan Yount. I have to say he made our car buying experience easy, fun and worthwhile. He made sure we stayed in our budget that we had discussed and even went the extra mile to make sure we got the best deal possible. I would have to say buying a car from him was like a very friendly experienc. As if we had known each other for years. So I say anybody looking for a car please go to paramount kiaparamount kia and see Jonathan Yount he will take care of you the best way he can and go that extra mile.

    We recently purchased our third vehicle from Hickory Paramount Kia and are very happy with the customer service we have received. Tim Whitener sold us our first two vehicles and actually showed my husband the third vehicle when he was at the dealership for another reason. When we went back to purchase the vehicle Tim was with another customer so Jim Richardson helped us. Both men worked together to finalize the sale. Tim and Jim were both knowledgeable about the truck and very attentive to both of us. During our visit salesmen and one manager offered to get us drinks or needed anything to make us more comfortable. One of the managers, Tooty I believe is his name, also offered us drinks and talked to both of us for quite some time. Our experience with Paramount has always been good. Since our first purchase two of our sons have also purchased vehicles from Tim at Paramount.

    I give this dealership a five star. It was the most amazingly and easy deal that I have ever encounter. I have bought five cars from this same dealer and always had a good experience. They stand behind their cars and give A-1 service!!

    This is our third Kia from Paramount. After seeing the Cadenza on the lot on a Sunday, I contacted Ethan online on Monday. I had seen the internet pricing and had a high interest in the vehicle. He answered all my questions and I made an appointment to see the vehicle the next day. He had it washed and sitting in the garage for my wife and I to look at. Ethan explained all the features and benefits of the car and we took a test drive. That's when we were totally sold. The finance process was just as quick and easy with Chris. Being we have had great experiences with Preston in the service department for scheduled maintenance, I knew that we were going to be well taken care of there, also. Absolutely no pressure. Keep up the great work.

    After reviewing sites and cars online I found a car that I was interested in. I called Paramount to inquire about the vehicle. Once I got there, they had the vehicle waiting for me up front, ready to test drive. There was no hassle to put me into a more expensive vehicle. There were no tricks, gimmicks, or games. I enjoy hassle free shopping and salespeople that listen. I will look at Paramount in the future for my next purchases and would be happy to refer any family and friends.

    We had a very positive experience with our recent new car purchase from Paramount Kia of Hickory. Roger H was extremely helpful and made the buying experience a pleasure. We generally do not like buying new cars due to the typical tactics of passing the buyer to different sales and management people in order to close a deal. At Paramount we dealt only with Roger throughout the process.
