Great purchase experience!

Ron was so friendly, full of information and the right advice when it came to selecting the right model of the car.… He made the price negotiating part, which is often painful, a fun dialogue. Overall, it was a good experience dealing with ROn and I would recommend him to my friends without a hint of doubt.Great Experience

Waiting for the Finance person to complete my paperwork took a while cause they were held up with… another customer. Other than that, it was a fairly smooth process.2017 Red Sport Touring

Unlike your typical car sales person; there was no pressure to buy. He was very knowledgeable about the car and authentic with… his recommendations. If he didn't have the answers to the questions I asked, he got the answers or directed me to the right people in the dealership. I'm pleased with my purchase and would recommend anyone wishing to purchase a car from VIP Honda to see M. Shafi. His support after the purchase was excellent and I believe he'll make your purchasing process a lot smoother. D.H.Nice Experience

Not only he gave the complete details about the car but also had some follow ups later on as well to ensure that vehicle is going on fine. Though the manager wasn't not so pleasant as… he was adamant on the quoted price. he could have easily lowered the price or gave some small addons which would have made me feel better and would have been a more happier customer.Fantastic pre-owned buying experience

by MommaDV on 05/12/2017We visited VIP Honda a few weeks ago on a Saturday morning. It was the third dealership we visited looking to trade in our 2013 Honda Accord and purchase a 2017 CRV. In other area dealerships, we were so disappointed with the treatment… we received from both the sale reps and then the dealership managers. We did not want to be sold. The way numbers were presentenced to us in other dealerships was so deceptive. Much like the nut under the shell. It was exhausting. We knew what we wanted and what we were willing to pay. I reluctantly agreed to visit VIP Honda in North Plainfield, NJ. We met David Otero. We told him what we wanted and what we wanted to pay. David listened. He was direct, clear and explained exactly how VIP would offer us the best deal possible. And, they did. We also met Rich Jakubowski. Both David and Rich were outstanding. They were us with warm, friendly and treated us with respect. We purchased our new CRV. I must say, we have never had such a wonderful experience buying a new car as we did with VIP Honda. Sales person is good but, unnecessarily he made us to wait for more than 1hr initially to go for test drive, because he was busy with some other customer to hand over the key which they came to… pickup. After the test drive (certified used CRV) and we decided to buy that car and got the price in detail.. Selling price + $299 for some security sheet, $499 for document (which is about $150 more than other dealers, and so on... As most common thing we tried to get an offer. I asked for about $700 less based on various factor (by just comparing other equivalent cars in their showroom). There comes all worst time!!! his MANAGER came into picture with his WORST BEHAVIOR (doesn't fit to be in that position!!!). As a person with higher authority he should know how to speak to customers with proper body language. . . DISGUSTING... my wife simply walked away from that showroom!!! within no point of time. We decided not to buy car from that dealer even if he gives good deal or free of cost!!! We almost wasted 3-4 hrs of the day.... I definitely wont recommend anyone till that Manager moves out of that showroom.Ask for Rosemarie

Speaking of the best, David Otero is the sales person to seek out if you are… purchasing a vehicle. Purchasing our 2017 CRV was an easy, smooth transaction because David was so knowledgeable. I was planning to lease Honda Accord Hybrid as deal was good but I also wanted to test drive Accord LX and Civic before I make… final decision. Raquel spoke to Alex Veras Jr (Sales Manager) my inquiry. Alex came to me and told me that he can allow me to test drive only one vehicle very rudely. I told him I want to test drive all 3 vehicles before I make my decision, but he denied. I had to walk away.. I would not recommend this location to anyone.Rude and Unprofessional behavior of Sales folk
