by JSchu on 07/05/2015This is the fourth vehicle we have purchased at Friendly Honda and we could not be happier with the customer service provided to us by our salesperson, Patrick. He was knowledgeable, friendly, engaging, and patient. He meticulously… covered all of the details of our purchase, expedited our experience due to time constraints on our part, and explained all of the wonderful new features of our new car thoroughly. Our finance officer, Jim, was equally as helpful. He explained all of the possible options we have, including an extended warranty, but he was not pushy or overly forceful. He did strongly encourage us to purchase a warranty, but he did so in a professional manner. We have recommended Friendly Honda to many of our friends, family and colleagues, and will continue to do so in the future, based upon our experiences with your staff and the quality of your product. One can purchase a Honda at any reputable dealership, but Jim and Patrick make the experience both enjoyable and satisfying.2012 Honda Civic

New CRV

Our salesperson, Carlos, was extremely helpful and professional (& very nice, too!). Easy to work with

Pretentious and condescending
by mm125 on 06/12/2015We have been going to Friendly Honda for many, many years and have typically not had many problems. However, over the last couple of visits the service has gone down tremendously. No surprise they haven't received an award in many years. We… recently went to renew a lease and our sales person and the finance person were so incredibly rude and condescending to us. The way they spoke to use was as though they were speaking to children when all we did was simply ask to see the lump sum split out so we can see what all the fees were. Not an unreasonable request. If they didn't screw you with a fee for not bringing your lease back there, I would never get my honda from them again. I LOVE Honda's - but would choose another dealership in a heartbeat. It was even worse when we went to take delivery on the vehicle. The condescension and pretentiousness never ended. The worst customer service we've ever received there and anywhere else. New CR-V purchase
by drest on 05/09/2015Just bought a new CR-V from Friendly Honda in Poughkeepsie. Easily the best experience I've ever had purchasing a new car. Using Price Promise eliminated haggling over the car price. Patrick, the salesman, was knowledgeable, courteous… and provided excellent communications. Picking up the car was also headache-free. My requests were honored, Patrick thoroughly reviewed the car with us, and nobody bothered us with trying to sell anything extra, like extended warranties.impeccable service and sales staff

Leasing our new Accord was a pleasure and he really took the tme to explain every aspect of the lease and all he bells and whistles included in our new EX. The rest of the staff… at Friendly couldn't have been more helpful. They set up all the paperwork and there weren't any hidden surprises, as we've experienced in the past at other dealerships. We bought 3 cars in the past from Friendly, and this is our 1st lease. They have a customer for life, and we will recommend them to any person looking to buy or lease. They really live up to the Frendly name.Pleasure to Deal With

They will do anything to get you a car. they are excellent until something goes wrong and then they don't return your calls or emails as promised . Service department has missed a TON of things and… dropped the ball way too many times . We had to file a corporate complaint about the horrendous service on all ends of this honda . I would reccomend no warranty through them and doing your scheduled maintance at a trusted mechanic , because they are not on top of the cars they "check" for service .Friendly lease

We spent considerable time while I made my decision and I did not feel rushed… at all. We went back to the office and sales Mike and management Mike worked to give me the best price possible. They were both very friendly an a pleasure to do business with. This was my second lease from Friendly Honda and I plan to return again, I love the reliability and the features.New car purchase

by captaingary on 10/24/2014After some really awful experiences at other dealers, I was pleasantly surprised to find Friendly Honda's unrushed, straightforward, no-nonsense approach towards me. Chaz Goodman was extremely knowledgeable about his products, and… patiently either answered my questions, or went off to get a correct answer no matter what I asked. When I felt I was ready to buy, the process was as easy and Chaz and Brian, the financial officer, walked me through every step, no surprises. The accessory and service options were explained to me, but I felt zero "up-sell" pressure. The car was prepped and ready for pick-up the same day. If only all dealers were like Chaz and the Friendly team!Two time buyer

I was close to buying the hyundai but the dealership was really being a huge pain and trying to get one over on me I'm pretty sure. I walked… into Friendly Honda and was greeted by a very friendly receptionist who got me a salesman right away. He was upfront about pricing and trade in values right off the bat. They never once asked what I wanted my payments to be ( like most dealers do.. and it drives me nuts) they were able to negotiate on price and offer great financing. The whole process went so smooth it was like I forgot I was buying a new car!!Delivery of New Civic Couldn't Be Smoother

The purchase was unexpected as my previous vehicle encountered problems requiring substantial cost to repair. Rick gave me the time I needed to assess the financial situation… without any pressure to close the sale. He was able to make a deal at the right price point and even though it was very much on the "economical" scale, he treated it as if I was buying a fully loaded top of the line Accord or Pilot. Once the decision was made, he took care of everything and made my transition to the new car painless. I've only had the car for a little over a week, but am enjoying it.New car purchase and lease

I found Friendly Honda to have a professional, courteous sales staff that wasn't trying to force me into a car. They let me take my… time. In fact, their email and phone follow-up was great! No pressure, just wanted to make sure they did everything right. After Honda, I test drove a Camry and Altima on Route 9. Honestly, the Honda was the best ride and they were the most aggressive on price. Before buying, I wanted to see the Service Department, as that's where I'll be for oil changes, etc. The service department building is amazing! They even have a whole kids section for parents to sit down, relax, and their kids be entertained. What a great feature. Long story short, the Accord EX-L 4 cylinder drives fantastic, averaging 35 MPG for me, looks great, comfortable for my daily drives to NYC or Long Island, and has lots of cool features I'm still discovering. Great job by Friendly. My sales rep was Justin. Thought he was great. But, then again, everyone I met at Friendly was great. Please keep one thing in mind when entering a car dealership. You're interested in buying a car and they're interested in selling you one. The difference with Friendly Honda is they're interested in selling you the car that you want - not something sitting on their lot. Have fun. I did.2nd Honda Odyssey
