They advised me what was the problem and I gave them the go-ahead..It took a day for the part to arrive but they got it in and my truck back… quickly..Truck was cleaned inside & out..a pleasant surprise .We appreciate you for letting others know about your experience! Have dealt with Walt and now Phil from sales. Both were determined to make a deal and made me feel… like a valued customer. Phil even got me the color I wanted that they did not have on the lot. Nicole from finance is pleasant and organized. Made taking delivery a breeze. Service has always been good, and cashier always gives out a piece of chocolate with your receipt. The little things... I will definitely be returning when my leases are up.Easy as it gets

I worked with Aaron and Markus in sales and I couldn't be happier with the purchase price of the vehicle and the value of my trade. However, I was disappointed in the… appearance of my brand new 2015 GMC Sierra that had flaws in the paint on the hood, deep scratches in the bed that were covered up by a drop in bed liner installed by Mike Smith, and staining on the rear seat. I was assured all would be taken care of to my satisfaction. A few days after taking delivery of the vehicle and signing over my trade it was discovered that I would not be eligible for a particular GM discount that was offered in my deal. The owner and I agreed to split the difference of the discount that was owed. Two trips to the service department to have the pre-sale issues mentioned above addressed and the paint on the hood still feels and looks gritty, there are additional scratches on the hood from their detail shop, and there is rustproofing overspray all over the roof and body of the truck, and additional compounding material smeared on the rear seat of the truck. The collision shop manager's response: "nothing is perfect." So I pointed out a similar truck in the shop and said, "make it feel/look like that." I tried escalating the issue to management only to find out that I was dealing with the service manager already. I then tried to escalate to ownership and never received a call back. I finally spoke with the owner, Mike Smith, and he advised that I take it to someone else and pay out of pocket for the repairs as he feels I could never be satisfied and his best efforts were made. My truck was never sent to their collision shop, never compounded and polished, never wet sanded, never offered to repaint the affected panels.............in other words, no attempts to remedy the problem aside from a quick clay bar likely by some young man/woman who has no clue what they are doing. Mr. Smith reminded me of the issue encountered with the discount after the sale and it would seem that because of that, my satisfaction was no longer a priority. When someone purchases a vehicle valued at $49,000.00 there is certainly a level of quality and craftsmanship expected. Those are two items that Mike Smith Buick GMC is neither capable or willing to provide. You may very well get a great deal on the purchase price of the vehicle, but don't expect any worthwhile customer service after the sale, or for them to honor promises they made during the sale. Sometimes it's just worth paying a little more to receive the satisfaction and treatment you deserve. Mr. Smith: I feel it is immoral and unethical to victimize a customer because you are unsatisfied with a deal that YOU agreed to.GMC Terrain Purchase - March 2015

I was asked if I would like to have recall done as well and was offered a ride home since it would take longer. When I returned I was informed a second recall… was also completed. This saved me the trouble of making another service appt. and was very greatful for the service dept. Doing this.Not going there again.
by unknown2 on 09/15/2008Today my husband and I went to Mike Smith dealership to purchase a car. We were specifically looking for a Pontiac G6 and kept browsing. As we were looking around a woman approached us and asked us what we were looking for and I told her… the Pontiac G6(thinking maybe she would point to where it was). So she walks over to some man and said he will be right with you. Now remember, I didn't ask for him the woman assumed I wanted help. He came over and introduced himself as Albert. He asked again what we were looking for and I said again the G6, I want to take a look at it and if I like it MAYBE take it for a test drive. I also stated that I still had a few other vehicles I wanted to look at before I made my first purchase. He started walking and said lets go take a look. We got outside to the parking lot, not even to the car and he asked if I was looking for a new or used car and I said it just depends on the pricing. He said if I'm not looking to buy today hes not going to waste his time taking me for a test drive. I'm sorry but I have never known anyone to just pick out a car without even looking at it or driving it and say oh I'm going to spend my 25,000 dollars on this car. I had intended to purchase a car considering mine isn't running to well but its looks like they lost my business. The man was very rude, and I told him he didn't deserve my business since he wasn't willing to help me with my car purchase. Can you believe he had the nerve to say thank you to me.Thats too bad. I had the complete opposite experience. I found it to be a great place to business. I guess nobody's perfect.
I also have had a very bad experience with Mike Smiths gmc. I had agreed upon a price of 23000 for a truck with a trade of 2500 i told them i had to be out the door at this price they agreed on the deal or so i was told .until i went to the bank to have the check cut and found out that they added the trade to the price of the vehicle which now brought the vehicles price back up to the asking price and then they added on the taxes and fees .come on guys were not idiots! do the math. what a scam so I called to talk to the used car manager after getting a nasty talking to from the salesman about how thats not what we agreed upon so i guess we dont have a deal. and i got the same attitude from the used car manager who came to the defence of the salesman about how he never seen this number that we agreed upon well geez maybe he never showed this price because he added my trade to the price to make it look like i was paying full price for the vehicle. hello i may be a women but im far from stupid gentlemen and im not happy with being treated in such an awful way . thanks for the disappointment .worst experience i ever had with a dealership and i have bought many vehicles from dealers.
