Pleasant buying experience
by Debra on 11/08/2019I went shopping on line for a used vehicle. I was looking for either a hatch back, small suv or a wagon. I located a couple I was interested in at University Volkswagen where I did decide to purchase a very clean, well maintained 2017 VW… Golf. The whole buying experience was pleasant and quick. The personal helpful, knowledgeable, going out of their way to make myself and my companion comfortable during the whole buying experience. My highest complements go to Braden (sp) the young salesman who was such a pleasure to work with, keep it up young man!Service Department

by SRW on 06/20/2019I had an issue with my Alltrack brakes. At 10K a severe vibration started with hard braking, progressing to any braking. Dealership resurfaced the rotors and problem was solved. At 19K the issue returned. Initially i was told this was… not a warranty item but after discussions with VW customer care and Dealership, they agreed to replace the front rotors for a small fee.2015 VW Passat SE TDI

by Kcart44 on 03/05/2019Crystal is by far the best service provider. She always puts my mind at ease and it always incredibly helpful. My daughter loves her and we keep coming back specifically for her! If you find yourself in need of a service representative… she is your girl!Saved the day
by Tree1977 on 11/13/2018My car broke down on a road trip. I was stuck in Santa Fe. The VW dealer there did not want to help. My service advisor from Lewisville VW call and spoke to Crystal. She arranged for me to bring my car in. The repair took longer than… expected so I was given a loaner so I could go to Santa Fe and get my possessions before heading on. The service was super good and I want to thank them from the bottom of my heart for fixing my problem. I would highly recommend them over the other two VW dealers that are near them. They seemed to care at University VW.Check engine light on
by WacCjc2015 on 10/03/2018We went on a trip and came home Sunday night and the check engine light came on. I brought the car in first thing in the morning with no appointment at all. They got me in right away, they checked the engine light and found that it had to… do with a recall with the car. Crystal the service writer was great and Sam the tech was great as well. The car was done quick. Along with that they checked to make sure everything else was ok with the car and made sure there was not open recalls for the car. Thank you for taking car of my wifes car.Best New Car Buying Experience

by TIGERPAWS1 on 04/10/2018Have purchased many cars in my lifetime and this was my best experience. I did a lot of research before buying my Mazda CX-5. I went into the dealership with a stock number I was interested in. I talked with Keith and found out it was… in transit and would be in soon. He contacted me when car arrived and had it all prepped and ready for me to test drive. Keith went thru the entire car with me answering every question I had and I never felt rushed as I did at other dealerships. I had narrowed my choices to Mazda and Honda but after driving the Mazda and the way it handled there was no comparison. If you don't want to feel pressured to buy this is your place. I purchased the car and the day I picked it up Keith went over everything once again. Thanks University Mazda for a great car buying experience and thanks Keith for being a great salesperson....New lease
by Merlin54 on 01/20/2018Totally recommended. Smoothest transaction ever from beginning to endVery disappointing
by LyleGhia on 01/16/2018Not a good experience from the beginning. Progressively got worse, even after they damaged my car. We have 5 Mazdas in our family and have nothing but good to say about Mazda. Mazdas are fantastic cars. We usually get service at another… dealer, however, I was sent to University Mazda by the Mazda site to get the recall repair on the seat bracket. They backed my car into a wall/fence, while I was still there and they did not tell me. I heard the runner come in and exclaim to the service manager that he just damaged a car, but surely he wasn't talking about mine. They let me wait in the waiting room and get driven home by the courtesy shuttle 45 minutes after I dropped the vehicle off and after the accident. Usually, at Quality Mazda, you can drop your auto off at 7:30am. Not so with University Mazda. I waited outside till after 8am, since when I stepped into the service area at 7:30 and was told to wait outside till 8 to check in. Then when they called and said my car was ready, I called the shuttle number and it went right to voice mail. I called 3 times in an hour and a half, straight to voicemail. An hour and a half after the first call, I received another call saying that had damaged my car. I told Charles that I had been trying to get the shuttle here. He had a rep call me who said the shuttle would be by in an hour-- 2 1/2 hours after they initially called, one hour after Charles informed me of the damage. I finally arrived by shuttle, during which time the driver said his phone was not working. On arrival and there was not a single person in the service area to help or answer my questions, until after I went looking for someone and finally whistled for attention. Then, the loaner car that they gave us had no heat, nor did the blinkers work. I did have them drop a new loaner off at my wife's work and take her in the key. They were quick to tell me to fill the loaner car back up to the same level when I returned it, however, they did not perform that same courtesy. Accidents do happen, but all that led to that and afterwards, I am very disappointed in the service. I am a part of the Volkswagen community in ABQ and University VW/Mazda's reputation is already less than stellar. I now see why. Repair complete, paint doesn't match, I lost due to taking the car for recall repair to University Mazda. Am not going back. The Worst Service in the USA
by MikeTorres on 01/06/2018No option for zero stars. I live in California, but my daughter goes to college in Albuquerque, she has been driving the car there. I took my Passat for the 30K service, they recommended we change 2 tires, and i followed the recommendation.… We had the car serviced because we were driving back to California. In the middle of the way the "Tire Inflation Warning" started to light up, I have since checked the tire pressure about 20 times, so there is something wrong with the sensor, after they serviced the tires and when trying to stop downhill it seems you are driving ona cobblestone road. I called them and left a couple of messages, I wrote them, they replied and asked for more information and then ignored me. They obviously dont stand behind their work. I would definitely NOT take the car back for service and woudl never consider buying a car from them with the horrednous level of service they have.Long sale, but overall satisfactory
by AbqGolfer on 12/03/2017"Adequate" is the word that comes to mind for my most recent experience. I'm a repeat customer who previously had very positive experiences here, but ~5 hours for a sale stretches anyone's patience, especially when I had already previously… test driven and the price was previously negotiated...I waited a long time for credit check and even longer (hours) for the finance dept and eventually someone else handled final signing. I can understand sometimes places get busy, but overall the multiple waits added up to an entire afternoon+evening. I was happy with the price, which is the only remaining reason I didn't go lower than 3 stars.Nick Walker
by Numb1Eagle on 08/28/2017Buying a car can sometimes be an overwhelming decision but not this time. Nick Walker was awesome, he answered all my questions and helped me make a no pressure confident purchase. I'll be buying all my vehicles from him. Thanks NickGreat team.... happy customer
by PGDuran on 08/26/2017I had a sense I wanted a VW as a future vehicle but was looking at some other options. I was lucky enough to get Justin who not only was very knowleagble but clearly was a good listener and in tune with what I was looking for. I went… looking for a Jetta Sport which wasn't available but he drove some cars and talked about the features. He presented me with options that were consistent with my needs rather than pushing something on me. Tough the Jetta Sport wasn't there turns out a car I decided to buy was and I am very happy with the end result after all. The experience there was excellent every step of the way and at every touch point from sales to financing to management. As a result of the team I left a happy customer.Gti
by Gti2017 on 08/25/2017Fantastic working with nick! I send all family and friends here. Seriously love that he tells it like it is and you don't have to worry about hidden costs etc. Always a pleasure
