Not very happy
by Lindora on 04/23/2018I love the service dept, they are awesome! On the other hand, the sales team and the follow thru is completely lacking. Still waiting on a referral reward from February, but no one is responding. Sad, I love my Hyundai, this is the 2nd… vehicle I have purchased from them and could be the last. Definitely no more referrals until someone, anyone replies to me.A greatly improved purchase experience

I dropped my car off and picked it up 6 hours later and they still didnt wash my car . Gave me an excuse that everyone was… so busy . I never got an email from the saleswomen to rate her or she would of got no stars . if I knew the way you treat your customers I would of never bought a car from you guys and will never buy another car from you guysIm sorry that we werent able to wash your car, J. Good service but greeting & time promised need to improve
by VelosterRo on 03/15/2018This is the third time I've been in for service in my 2017 Veloster. Two times have been for oil changes and the other was for low tire warning. All three times when I went inside for service there has been one person in front of me who has… started their check-in process. All of the employees behind the desks do not greet you and say something to the effect of "Welcome to Larry H. Miller Hyundai, we'll be with you shortly." It's just a matter avoiding eye-contact with you like I'm a teacher asking for volunteers to come up and speak before the class. In a customer service industry, this becomes one of my biggest pet peeves and it starts off my experience on a bad note, and now it's an uphill battle to make it a great experience. Once it is my turn and I get acknowledged, they treat me very professionally and respectfully. The next issue I have is with the timeliness of when they say they will have my car ready. I experienced time issues with both oil changes. The first oil change they said would be complete in an hour, and after spending one hour and twenty minutes in the service waiting area I went up to check on the status. The service person couldn't find the paperwork on it and got up and went to go find it. I then looked in the parking lot and saw what I believed to be my car but I was unsure. After several minutes he came back and said the car was not ready yet so I mentioned to him that they car in the parking lot looked like mine and he got up and went to the car and came back and said it was my car and it was ready?? I don't know how much longer I would've waited if I didn't ask. During the second oil change I waiting an extra 10 minutes after the promised time and I went up to ask the status. My service person was with another customer so I waived at him hoping that he would recognize me and if was busy he could pass me off to the other service person who was finished with her transaction and talking with another worker and a customer casually, not about the job that had just been completed. I only had to wait an additional few minutes but the fact that no one stepped up to see what they could do to help me was disappointing. The service itself was performed excellent, just some issues with customer service.Thank you!

Wanted to have vehicle checked to make sure it was nothing serious. All checked out ok. Also had cabin & air filters replaced.… Service was quick and service rep was very professional.Oil change

Everything was done on time. Everybody in the dealership was very… nice and polite, and especially Tara Colin who handled my visit.You took advantage of me!!!!!

The sales pitch was predatory and at a quick pace, breaking numbers by monthly payments so I… didnt see how much I was actually paying. I will never buy another car from Larry H Miller. I value their care and support that I'd rather make the hour long drive out there instead of visiting my local Hyundai dealer. The sales staff is very good at the process, and they are very helpful when you come in with questions about the features of these complex SUVs. Overall the experience… is very positive worthy of 5 stars. The only unsettling comment I can make is during the finance process several added protection features like tire protection, etc, are added on and the cost of all these features is not explicitly explained. My main advice is that when you get in the room with the finance guy ask the costs of every added protection package and get the cost of each as you go along so you can decide if you want them. The factory warranty only covers items that fail due to a factory flaw and not something from a usage factor. A full vehicle total warranty is offered with a substantial cost, know what you are accepting. This covers failures from usage that are not from an inherent factory flaw, and this has an added price. The Hyundai mechanics are the judges to decide which condition applies. Also know that the sticker price is not the final price. There is a dealer added price for features added locally, and this is not itemized. Wait to decide if you really want the vehicle until you get in the finance room and see all the added costs. The price offered before this step will be different. At this point what is emphasized is the monthly payment, not the total added on costs.Hi, Steven! Thanks for leaving us such an excellent review. by NMAngel79 on 01/22/2018I went into the dealership to purchase an '18 Elantra. The sales price posted online looked fair enough so I was willing to pay the posted internet price without haggling. As we were going over the price sheet, the beginning price of the… car magically went up $3K over MSRP. The dealer had added on $3K worth of "Dealer Installed Items" & did not posted it online. I understand that this can happen with window tint and such useful items, but these were items like VIN window etching for $200.00. The police will offer this service for FREE. There was nothing there worth $3K, no window tint or anything tangible that you could actually see improved the car, & they weren't willing to budge on the price. Funny how the dealer add-ons are the same amount as the Factory Rebates. So say goodbye to any customer savings. It's a bunch of bull. I called them out on this fact, & they try to console you & tell you that you just aren't understanding the process. I take this as an insult to my intelligence! I had 3 guys in sales treating me like I'm an idiot! I've purchased many cars in my life, & have worked in auto finance. I know a crap deal when I see one! The same car was at Borman Hyundai in Las Cruces. I highly recommend their online team, Nate & Pat. They'll give you solid numbers when you ask for them, & when you show up to get your car, the deal you worked out over your e-mail matches the paper you're signing. Do NOT buy a car from Southwest Hyundai!!! Go to Las Cruces!! You'll thank me later!! I got the car I wanted at Borman Hyundai, for $1000.00 less than I was willing to pay at SW Hyundai. The service team was able to fit me in the same morning and diagnose the problem quickly - the computer needed a software update . There was actually a Hyundai tech bulletin… out on this very issue. While it was great they handled this quickly, I thought the $200 price tag was unnecessarily pricey for mostly diagnosing a known problem with hyundai vehicles.Thank you for leaving us such an excellent review!
