Bone dry service
by Rooby on 06/27/2025They wait was too long for an oil change and multi point inspection, I have a service plan as well. They gave me my car back with no washer fluid and every one acted like it was no big deal. Ive lost all trust with this Honda. What did they… do with my car for over 2 hours if the washer fluid was empty, and low tire pressure light lit up after I left and no (as promised at purchase) car wash (4 times in a row). It wasn't calibrated by Honda and then the receptionist is telling me to do it myself. The managers failed to address the blatant lie made by their own employees. They filled the form out checking the boxes that says they did the work, yet no work appears to have been performed. Makes me ill to think that they would lie and hope I wouldn't notice? I have a family member who does alot of work for Honda in another state, he's the one that recommended the 2024 Honda hrv. This handling of my service care will be shared.

I sat for approximately 20 minutes before Rita came out and explained that they didn’t have the electronic start fob. I… couldn’t come until Wed but at any time. She calmed an irate customer by apologizing for the mistake even though it wasn’t her fault!!Great service at Honda of Tom's River

I was addressed promptly and professionally and setup with a service writer that scheduled the work. Marybeth was a pleasure to talk to and got my… car ready for service quickly. Thank you for such a nice experience today at Honda of Toms River. I also spoke to the mechanic aftewr the work was completed and once again it was a good experience. I was told my car would take about an hour and a half. I walked around… the parking lot to look at the new cars and then relaxed in the lounge. No sooner than I sat down to watch the news did my phone ring. Rita let me know my car would be ready in 10 minutes. The appointment took 30 mins max and everyone was very nice.Good Sevice

Similar to my experience at Honda of Toms River last year, Gabe was extremely thorough and very patient. Even when I was not ready to make… decisions on the additional services he recommended. The service and consultation took all of 40 minutes. So you know, during maternity leave, because it was convenient (or so I thought) I made the mistake of going to DCH Honda of Paramus to get my car serviced. I was there with my 2 month old for a total of 3 ½ hours. This was a schedule appointment none the less. I want to let you know that I plan to only go to one of your dealers for any of my vehicle needs. Thank you again and want to let you know you have a great team!Honda Service

On both occasions the service department made an appt for me to drive the 10 miles from… Bayville to have my vehicle serviced. Both time, after I arrived at the service department, I was told that they would not service my vehicle, it was not yet time. They also refused to fix my indicator light that is defective. This service department is inconsiderate and in my 40 years of vehicle maintenance I have never been treated with such a total lack of work ethic or consideratiobn.Rip Off Stay Away

The 1st time was in 2006 but Honda replaced it since it was still under warranty. I went to Toms River Honda on March… 5, 2014 to be diagnosed. They said it would cost $2,486.00 to replace the radio control unit. I then got a 2nd estimate from AAA for $986.00. I got a 3rd estimate from Joyce Honda in Denville, NJ, the dealer who replaced it in 2006. They told me there was a Class Action suit over this issue and Honda was ordered to extend the warranties on the radio control unit for 7 years. Honda Corporate made a special arrangement with the dealers to sell the part to them at cost & they were to install it w/o labor for a cost of $215.00. Why didnt Toms River Honda inform me of this? They wanted $2,486.00 to do the job. Conclusion: stay away from Toms River Honda
