Deception is their practiced game - and you lose
Please do not lease a car from Ramsey Volvo. If you negotiate the car's price, which you should do even when leasing, they will change that agreed upon price even after you shake hands on it. They use two different computer lease programs in order to deceive you - one during the sales process and one when you pick up the car - the numbers get changed in between - I realized it too late. I communicated with four different people there and they were all in on the scheme. I think it's a built in sale strategy for them. Spare yourself the feeling of being used and the loss of your new car experience - please shop elsewhere.
2016 V60 purchase
We recently purchased a used 2016 V60. I spoke with our salesman Tim on the phone, completed a few papers and agreed on the terms via phone. We are military and drove up from out of state and the car was parked out front and ready for delivery. We sat down with Mark in finance and the entire process from start to finish took 2 hours out the door. Tim also noticed that one of the keys didn't work and had a new one made on the spot (Otherwise we would have been out in an hour and a half). The service was good and we got exactly what we paid for. Love the V60 and would recommend this dealership to others whole heartedly.
My husband and I walked into Ramsey Volvo dealer and we didn't get a greeting from anyone. There was a sales person standing by the door when we first walked in and he didn't even say hello. The receptionist was playing with her mobile phone and didn't even look up at us to even acknowledge that we walked in. 10 minutes later no one approached us to ask us if we were being helped or if we needed help with anything. Finally we decided to leave. Worst experience ever. They definitely lost our business. We went to another dealer not very far from them (not Volvo) and the treatment was completely different. The receptionist greeted us right when we walked in, took down our name and advised us that someone will be with us if we had any questions.
Great car buying experience
I had the pleasure of working with salesman Dan Kalmanowitz recently on a new S60 Inscription lease. It was evident that Dan cares about his customers and demonstrated he will go the extra mile in order to provide an exceptional level of service. In addition I can say the the dealership staff, specifically Tim, Steve and Ron were both courteous and professional. I definetly would recommend Dan and Ramsey Volvo if your in the market for a new car.
Excellent Sales and Service
Recently purchased an S60 from Stan R. This is my second time working with Stan over a 6 year period. He has always been low pressure, informative and most importanly listened to my needs and budget requirements.
Quality Dealership with Experienced/No Pressure Sales
I recently leased a new 2014 S60 from Ramsey Volvo. The experience was better than I had thought it would be and I ended up in a brand new vehicle (S60 Premium Plus) that cost less my current Toyota RAV4. Stan R. was my salesperson and did not apply any pressure to me in making any decisions; it was truly appreciated and I would recommend him for his straight up approach. The Financing Department was also a pleasure to work with - there was no strong-arming me into up-sales. I look forward to a continued and long-lasting relationship with this dealership and the Volvo family of cars in general.

old time salesmanship, no pressure, efficient sales process
With a couple of Volvo leased and purchased already, I am definitely in need of an efficient sales process. Stan R. is one of old time salesman, who would greet me at the door when I go for the appointment, and honored everything we talked on the phone. Quick and pleasant.
Excellent No Pressure Service
I went to several Volvo dealers in NJ when my Kia was totaled in an accident. When I called Ramsey Volvo, Tim B. in sales, gave me a ton of information even before I went to see him personally. When I got there, I was greeted by him as well as the rest of the friendly staff. The showroom is nicely laid out, and their inventory is well stocked. Tim took his time to give me a test drive and answered all of my questions. When I had already agreed to a price and to pick up the car on a Friday, that very morning Tim called to ask me some questions to see if I qualified for even a greater discount! It saved me $500 more! At no time did I feel any pressure from him or from Tim in the business office.. I would gladly go back and purchase another car from him and plan on taking family members to them in the near future..

Bought a new XC60
Nice smooth transaction. Tim B., our sales rep, took plenty of time reviewing the 2013 XC60. His biggest asset was he spoke to both of us, not just the husband in this case. No pressure, gave us a nice price and was willing to consider a counter offer. Spent close to an hour with us post sale to go over details of car. Great experience.
Used Car Purchase - Ramsey Volvo
I recently purchased a 2004 Infiniti G-35 sedan from the used car department at Ramsey Volvo. I found everything about the transaction to be professional. The salesman was knowledgeable about the vehicle and was helpful during the test drive. The bargaining for the car was also done in a professional manner. We agreed on the price over the course of two days and the salesman was quite helpful in structuring the deal to meet my objectives.
