  • HORRIBLE COSTUMER SERVICE

    I bought a Honda civic here on June 29th and had a pleasant experience, however I have been extremely displeased with the service since purchasing. My temporary plates and registration expired on July 18th. I've have had a lot of difficulty getting anyone at Rt 22 Honda to help me with the issue or find out when I can expect the plates and registration. Everyone I speak to is friendly on the phone, but basically tells me what I want to hear and promises to call me back, but then never does. I've had five different employees, including Sales and Corporate managers, tell me they would call me back within the hour and I hear nothing and have to call them to follow up. Last week, after calling corporate offices, I was told I could expected the tags Friday, July 26th after 5pm, however when I called prior to driving over to the dealership, I was told they still aren't in. I asked to speak to a manger who promised to look into it and call me back. After no response, I called again Saturday and was told maybe Tuesday.The manager said he would call me on Monday to ensure they were at the dealership and save me another useless drive out to the dealership. I have heard nothing today and have left three voicemails. If they come tomorrow, it will mean 12 days with a new car sitting in my driveway because of Rt 22s incompetence. I've been inconvenienced and have had to borrow cars for the past week and a half. I understand that the dealership may be at mercy of the DMV, but it would be nice if someone communicated with me about the issue. Instead, I call multiple times a day and leave messages and hear nothing. Or I talk directly with someone who says they will "look into it" and then I get no response. They just give me the run around. Very unprofessional! Save yourself some aggravation and shop elsewhere!

    On Sat. 3/15/2014 went in to purchase a new 2014 Odyssey. We knew what vehicle and already knew we would qualify with a 799 credit score. The process however, took no lie, 7 hours! Once we closed on the deal, the sales team of Aaron S. and Steve S. were no where t be found to see what was taking the process so long. Finally, Ben S. (Finance Dept.) took care of us with the final paperwork. At this point the dealer was closing. once the vehicle was "prep" for delivery, we jumped in and went to get something to eat and drove back home to New York City. We decided to go to Route 22 Honda, because of the good reviews. Unfortunately, we were not so fortunate. We had to drive the car back on Sat. 3/22/2014 because the vehicle was not clean, it had very obvious grease stains throughout the interior. An added 2 hour for the cleaning. The worst part is that no one had the audacity to apologize for the inconvenience caused and bad experience throughout. If you decide to go, I do wish you the best of luck. I just wanted to post my experience. Good luck.

    Walked in at 9am on a Monday morning knew what I wanted and what I wanted to pay. By 9:30 we agreed on price but I had to gget to work. Told them I'd be back with my wife around 8:30pm to have it gased and ready for my wife and I to test drive. i left no deposit. Between 9 and 9:30 am they looked at my car, appaised it and agreed to my terms. I got out of work early and my wife and I made it there by 7:30 pm and drove home in our new 2012 Honda Insight. Mohammed I. was our Salesman and He has assisted us since with the service department. A pleasurableand stressless expierence which as we all know seldom happens with purchasing a new car.

    There are many other dealers in NJ He did not have the car in stock. Wanted us to put a deposit and we declined. The Salesman turned abusive. Need a reason from us why we will not do that !!

    Quality Excellent Appeal Excellent Service Excellent This is my 3rd lease from Route 22 Honda, and i just got to sat working with Mohammed I. feels more like family, he goes out of his way to make you happy, follows up to make sure you are truly satisfied even after you have driven off the lot, its such a pleasure to work with him, that is what keeps me coming back through all these years and i recommend him and Route 22 Honda to everyone interested in an automobile.

    I had a wonderful experience when dealing with Mohammed my sales person and Pablo the Finance Manager. I went in to discuss my current financial situation and credit score. I was looking for information to determine what I needed to do to purchase a car in the near future. I never expected to leave with a car. That night I financed and left with a 2011 Honda Accord LX sedan. At no time during the process were Mohanmmed or Pablo pushy or overly persistent. They were pleasant to deal with, helpful and very understanding of my situation. Their goal was to get me in a car that I liked with a payment that I could afford. Not once did I feel like they were just out to make a sale at any cost without consideration of the customer. I never once felt like they didn't want to be bothered or were impatient with me or my situation.
