I wouldn't buy a roll of toilet paper [non-permissible content removed]
by uhmgawa on 04/06/2023I wouldn't buy a roll of toilet paper from [non-permissible content removed]. Test drove and decided to buy a vehicle. I was then told I'd need to pay cash on the spot to buy the vehicle as paradoxically they don't take deposits of any… sort, such that a customer has a reasonable opportunity to bring payment while the vehicle was reserved for the customer trying to complete the purchase. Rather (in the case of a cash sale) only a bank check made out to them for the exact amount was acceptable as payment. What?! I didn't have a bank check at that instant made out in the exact (just calculated) amount to the dealership in my pocket. Well banks are generally closed in the evening so I intended to bring a bank check the next morning but was then told another customer was looking at the same vehicle, intending to finance the purchase so in this case no scrambling to obtain a bank check was needed. The vehicle was sold out from under me to the other customer even though I was trying to place a deposit on it the previous day such that I could complete a purchase in good faith. This is a beyond ridiculous customer engagement model and negative (if not outright hostile) customer treatment. A dealership employee trying to justify this conduct, stated the establishment is on shaky financial ground and this paniced approach (give me the money now or I sell to the next customer who stumbles in the door) was somehow a last gasp attempt for survival of the dealership. In retrospect I suppose it is fortunate I walked away free of any customer association with that flailing operation. But even if it does manage to momentarily survive, its sold-soul behavior will likely have it titanic anyway. Apparently this is a general customer concern as well -- it was underscored the certified 5-year warranty of this vehicle was backed by Allstate should the dealership evaporate during the warranty period. Guess I should have read the writing on the wall. Anyway if you seek spectacularly incompetent customer treatment from a struggling dealer, this is the place for you. For everyone else, spare yourself the aggravation and pass [non-permissible content removed] by on your way to the next Toyota dealer. Edit: another dealer self-inflicted embarrassment worth sharing: This vehicle had a rock hole in the windshield which was already radially spider web cracking. Obvious to anyone yet the sales guy was trying to dismiss it as a non-issue. I asked it be repaired as a safety issue, and the fact the windshield would otherwise split in a few weeks of driving. His manager wanted me to buy the vehicle that day and have the windshield repaired myself, whereupon I'd send them the bill. What?! I suppose that's what transpires at the end of the month when the Three Stooges of Toyota dealerships is desperately trying to stay afloat.Good Afternoon, We apologize for any misunderstanding or miscommunication. Jamie Rios was extremely polite, professional and informative. Even synced my phone to my truck for me. He was very helpful… after I got my truck home answering questions I had. I’d recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new vehicle. Salesman (Joel) was able to find nearby dealerships with a vehicle I was looking for (color and options). Sales and trade in negotiations went well with no… haggling. The only downside was that I used the Refer-A-Friend Program with a friend who recently purchased a RAV4. The form was filled out by salesman at the dealership, yet after more than 30 days, we never saw any check. Great experience in moving to a new state

In looking on-line I saw several vehicles we were interested in. We looked at several in Keene,… and also in Connecticut where was are moving from. Stopped there, and were warmly greeted by Joel in sales. Took a test drive, and loved the vehicle. The entire process was great, no pressure at all. When we were back to take delivery a few days later, we were warmly greeted, and we had two of our dogs with us, and much of the friendly staff came out. Feel like part of the family here, totally different with previous purchases we have made. Will be back when my wife's car needs replacing.Gene_f, your wonderful feedback and rating mean a lot to us. by stucknh on 02/07/2018Purchased a used RAV 4 -6 cylinder June 2017. Had power train warranty from dealer. Notified them of concern from point of sale over a sound as if never settled into a final gear. Sales says all Rav 4's have the sound. Within time frame of… warranty notify of issue getting worse and a TSB describing issue to a T. This dealer failed to listen or diagnose the concern, calls to Toyota cares, a second opinion from another dealer and now some 8 months in, still zero resolution. Keene service manager after a visit and calls confirms the fix will not guarantee cure for concern, I was informed I can swap out this car for another on the lot , approved by the owner , Mr. Fenton. We arrive after choosing comparable vehicles to swap out our car. That Sunday experience with manager Mr. Kenny and his scare tactic -yelling at me that yes he had lied about doing a swap out, pushed me out the door. I was scared. If the approval was in and I was looking at one year newer, different cylinder swap and if the car I own is a non issue then the dealer should have honored what they warranted and offered. My advice is RUN and Run fast and far . This sale was not honest, was not honored . The only reason I know not all vehicles have the sound is from personal experience with friends cars- Toyota reputation and the 6 cylinder got me to the dealer in the first place. The warranty and my research should stand for itself and the offered swap should have happened -bullying and scare tactics are not where I will ever do business nor should anyone else. They survive based on location in western NH and no sales tax for neighboring buyers.Hello Ms. Rush, We are very sorry for the inconvenience. Although we understand this has been a troubling experience for you, we have done the best we can to address the issues. Unfortunately the issue you have been experiencing with your vehicle is a characteristic of the model you purchased. We offered you an option to trade into a vehicle 3 years newer that would not have the characteristic you are experiencing. Unfortunately, due to it being 3 years newer we are unable to swap you out at no cost. We did significantly discount the new vehicle. Again, we are very sorry for the inconvenience. Great sale
by djmr1972 on 02/07/2018As my lease had only 5 months left to it, I decided to start looking around for my next vehicle. I knew exactly what I wanted and Toyota of Keene had one on their lot. They had just got it in and I wanted to go look at it. So I drove the… short 25 miles and was checking the truck out and Sean Parent came over and started talking to me. If it hadnt been for the toyota hat, I would have thought he was another customer. Very cool and down to earth. No pressure at all. I told him I wanted that truck and we started chatting about my 16 tacoma and what he could do for me. To make a long story short, he is a great salesman that never gave me any pressure to buy or even do the math. They got my numbers very close to where I wanted them and after a test drive I signed on the sale. On 02/02/18, I drove away with a new 2018 Toyota Tacoma TRD Offroad 4x4 Cement 6' bed.
