  • Awesome Experience

5 out of 5 starsby Connie on 03/07/2024

This dealership was the nicest, cleanest and friendliest that I have been to. That being said, I expected a miserable time purchasing a new car. Was I surprised!!! My salesman was Damon Bess. He was such a pleasure to work with. He has an awesome personality. I felt so comfortable talking to him. He was also very knowledgeable about the cars they sell. I bought my car from him feeling very comfortable with the whole experience. I would absolutely recommend Damon Bess to sell you a car. Thank you Damon for a great experience.

My wife and I drove to this dealership to look at a Jeep. “Rooster” was the salesman helping us. When we weren’t comfortable with the payment and rates he presented we decided to leave. As we were walking out of the dealership, he proceeded to follow us outside and yell “xxxxing waste of my time” at us as we walked away. When I asked to speak to his supervisor, he refused to tell me who his boss was. I located a manager on my own and informed them what was going on. “Rooster” continued to cuss in a lobby filled with customers calling me a “xxxxx” and had to be escorted out of the lobby by a manager. Needless to say, won’t ever return to this dealership. “Rooster” lived up to his name. Cocky, arrogant, and prone to sudden outbursts.

Ronnie Warren was fantastic to work with. He was very helpful and gave me sound guidance in buying a jeep. He is he perfect combo of being professional and personable. Ronnie along with everyone I dealt with made a stressful situation a pleasure. Will recommend Corwin and Ronnie Warren to others
  • Horrible

I would not recommend this company! We purchased a truck and it broke down on our way home!! The sales person informed us Several times that there was nothing wrong with the vehicle ,and assured us that it was Dodge certified through a 125 point inspection. The truck had well over $5000 worth of mechanical issues. Come to find out this is not a dodge certified vehicle. We were also told that all the open recalls had been taken care of, also NOT the case! Its now been almost a month and the truck is still not in our possession. We were also just informed that the motor is going out for crossed wires!! It has been a horrible experience and the dealership had very little to say and was even less helpful!! My mother even called to pretend to want to buy a used dodge vehicle and was also informed that all of their used dodge vehicles are dodge certified . They will tell you anything you want to hear to get your money !!

  • I'd reconsider

1 out of 5 starsby AshODC on 04/04/2015

I'd reconsider going here if I were you. I'm not usually one to bother going online to complain about a dealer, but seriously..... I can't say enough bad things about Corwin. My mother, who had her vehicle stolen, went there to get a (new to her) used car. I will say that 2 of the guys who worked there were very friendly. They were good to my mother and good to me. Those men deserve every good thing that comes to them. As for the car itself, it's a piece of junk. My mother, not even a hour after driving it off the lot, had issues with the car. The "check engine" light came on. I told her to go to my house, get some sleep (she works nights), and I would take the car back. I kept getting told it was probably just the gas cap, but they did make an appointment for her car that Thursday (3 days later). I told my mother I'd take the car in on Thursday, so she could sleep after getting off work. My kids and I waited two hours, for the mechanic there at Corwin Dodge, to tell me it was just the gas cap. He added that they did rotate my tires and balance them too. the mechanic said he did go ahead and "reset things" so the engine light would go off. Friday, when my mother was driving back home, the engine light comes on again! Sunday, my husband took the car to Oreilly's to hook it up to the diagnostic tool. It came back as something completely different than the gas cap (so I was lied to by the mechanic. Apparently they just "reset things" so the engine light would go off). My mother called (again) and they set up another appointment (again) for her to fix the problem.... On Thursday. A week after it was supposedly fixed. She dropped it off early that morning after getting off work and I picked her up. My husband picked the car up for her on his way home from work, that evening. He talked to the mechanic who told him it was the catalytic converter and he would need to find some used back wheels (the car was driving loud and weird. Which for anyone who is asking, no, it didn't have any of these problems when my mother test drove it) for the car. My husband asked when it would be done and the mechanic said he would have to get permission to do it first. I understand having to get permission and I'm fine with that, but this place not only sold a junk car to a person who has to do a lot of driving (and needs a reliable vehicle) they LIED. I understand dealers do that most of the time, but this is ridiculous. If it was your mother, would you put her in a crappy car and let her drive away? Or would you take over $2000 from her and pretty much tell her "screw you!"?I would hope not. I would hope most people would be mad as hell, like I am. I would hope that this place was decent, but they're constantly giving my mother the run around. She's had to borrow our vehicles, stay with us (which is fine, but I know she prefers her OWN place), worry if the car is going to make it when she's driving it, etc. She doesn't even want the car anymore, it scares her to have to drive it. My husband has promised if there's any issues he can always pick her up, but shouldn't a car that you have had less than a WEEK do better than this? Hell, technically, she didn't even have it a hour before it stared "acting up". She is, however, keeping HER end of the deal and making the payments. She can't be faulted on HER end. I know most would say to just take the car back, but then my mother not only doesn't have a vehicle for work, she doesn't have a down payment for another car. She has asked for her money back (over $2000) but hasn't heard a word on that. The car is a piece of junk and Corwin Dodge should be ashamed for selling cars like that to people who are needing something desperately to use for work/personal use. I've told her to go to KY3 over it, but she hates confrontation, so she probably won't do that. I still encourage it though. I understand that dealers have to "watch out for number one" but screwing a person out of money isn't the way to go on being a reputable dealer.
