    I bought 19 cars from Sears in the last 17 years - Endre always been my main go to guy when I needed a car. Bought new and used cars, what ever we needed and fit our budget.   • Used Cars Sales are Unimportant to their service

    Found a car online and talked them down over the phone to a price that my bank would finance. Went to try out the car on a Saturday and the "used" lot just looked like some guy was abandon in a parking lot with some cars that they didn't want on their high end lot. So the sales guy gets there at 10 and lets us know he forgot his keys and lived 1/2 hour away and needs to go and get them. When he shows up 45 minutes later with the keys, we try out the car and let him know we are interested. He originally says he will give us one price for the trade in, then after making some calls cuts that in half. Not a huge deal to us, so we continue with the transaction. I go back two days later to deal with the paperwork and pick up the car. When everything is done, he hands over the key to the car. I ask him if there is another key and he tells me that I will have to go to a honda dealership to get that made. Miffed I get into the car to drive away and as I get off of the lot I notice that the car has 1/4 tank of gas. I don't think that it is too much to fill a car with gas. I do not believe that I would have been treated this way if I would have bought one of their high end cars.

    I went to this dealership to buy a C300. We agreed to a price, they took deposit and place an order. 3 months later when my order came in they hiked price by $2500. Awful experience. Canceled my order. Never going to this dealer.

    Sears addressed a complaint I had with my 2006 Porsche Cayenne. It has been resolved to my satisfaction.
    • Steven, I am sorry to hear about the troubles you are experiencing with your 2006 Porsche Cayenne that has over 100k miles. Also, from your review I understand that you are disappointed with our customer service and your experience with us. Sears Imported Autos has been around for over 40 years and customer service is our top priority. It has been over 8 weeks since you took delivery of the vehicle and you have had no issues that we were made aware of. So if I understand it you were a very happy and satisfied customer until today. I have talked with both my Pre-Owned Manager and Christian E. your sales consultant regarding the situation with your higher mileage Porsche Cayenne. It is my understanding after talking with my Pre-Owned Manager and Christian and reading your review, that you declined any sort of warranty for the vehicle at the time of purchase and that you understood that you bought it “AS IS.” So it would be my understanding that you were fully aware of the possible consequences after the purchase and decided not to incur the additional expense. We do offer these extended warranties to our customers because of the unexpected expenses higher mileage vehicles can observe and the security it can offer customers that purchase types of vehicles like yours. We would like to make you a satisfied customer. So please contact me at 952-546-5301 and let me know how you would like us to handle the complaint. As I understand it from the last sentence in your email it is not mainly about the unexpected expense, but more so on how we handled your complaint.     I just leased my second vehicle from Sears. My first was a 2010 C300. The service and experience from Matt Mahoney was excellent with this first vehicle. I did not have any major issues with that car, but went in for regular service, each time I was well taken care of. As my lease was nearing the end I was interested in some other manufacturer's vehicles so did research and checked around. I told Matt what I was looking for and he advised me to wait for the 2013 GLK350 as it was being updated and would be a perfect fit. I was glad I took his advice. I just took ownership this week and love the car. I highly recommend Mercedes vehicles, Sears Imported Autos and Matt Mahoney.

    Sears imported autos, the best car dealership in the state of MN. Unbelievable service and the nicest staff I have ever had. A very honest and sincere dealer.
