We traveled from Harrisburg SD and asked if he could get everything ready to go for us because we didn't have a lot of… time. The roads were bad and we had to get back. Long story short, they didn't inspect the vehicle. They cut corners. I have the vehicle at my trusted… mechanic now. Hopefully this thing doesn't become a black hole.Very Disappointing
by RunMN15 on 11/02/2015I purchased a used vehicle from this dealership about 2 months ago and it has been nothing but a headache. The salesperson was rather rude, but the vehicle seemed like a good purchase, so I went ahead with it. During the credit application,… he made fun of me for checking over the document (even though I caught an error he made), asked me "Why would you even care what the total cost of the vehicle comes to?" and acted like putting a third of a tank of gas in was a huge bargaining chip (it's a 14 gallon tank). Finance was almost worse. While I was still at the dealership, I decided to cancel an extra coverage option. The finance officer refused to give me a confirmation of the cancellation. She also forgot to take my down payment check (I had to turn around and return to the dealership after realizing it on my own). A month later, I called and the coverage STILL had not been canceled. They said they would cancel it that day and to wait a week or two to see if the loan company had received the refund. Two weeks have passed and the loan company still has nothing. The vehicle itself needed an engine tuneup after about a week after purchase, and when I went to change the oil for the first time, the oil filter had been jammed on and dented so badly it was almost impossible to remove. I was also never informed that I had a 3 month trial of Sirius Radio until Sirius contacted me a month into the trial. I did meet Harry Brown himself as I was leaving with my vehicle, and he seems like an upstanding gentleman. It's too bad to see the rest of his dealership doesn't have the same business philosophy.Very Friendly, Low-Pressure

They were even able to offer a quote that was better than my credit… union's offer. We'll be needing another car in 6-12 months, and will definitely be stopping back. Harry Brown is even there to shake your hand!They really take care of you!

The issues we dealt with were unexpected within a week and with less than 400 of our miles we had a check engine light on and a leak in our… roof. I called them up to inquire...we signed all the "as is" information when we bought the truck. I wasn't sure what they would say. I brought the truck back to them and they took care of me. They gave me a free rental vehicle (2015 GMC Terrain) to drive while they replaced the parts that needed fixing and a little TLC. Even with our issues...I would definitely buy from them again. They were all very nice and did their best to make sure that we were happy with our purchase. It's not very often that you find a dealership that truly cares about their customers. All our repairs were free of charge and completed within 24 hours. If you want to buy from someone you trust-I highly recommend Harry Brown's in Faribault. My next vehicle purchase will be from them!
