    This was the most pleasant sales experience we have had when purchasing a vehicle. The vehicle had just arrived at the dealership and was exactly what we were looking for so we decided right then to buy it. We were limited on time since we had not anticipated buying a vehicle that day. The sales person and finance person went out of their way to get everything completed and the car cleaned up so we could take it that day. All the pressure of the sale was on them and they handled it very well and cooperated with us completely.

    they are very friendly (and dishonest) while you're buying, and and very unhelpful and avoidant after you buy from them. I'd strongly suggest staying away from them.
    • I'm a Korean war veteran and can't believe how they treat Minnesota Veterans. Just upsets me that the lack of respect these young vets get. The sad thing is I never got the chance to look at there inventory, from what I have read is enough to keep me away. Thank you for your post and information. Peter

  • Buyer Beware!

    I test drove a vehicle on Nov 17th, and noticed the "check engine" light came on. The salesman said it would be resolved if I purchased the car, but then told me that since they did not know how much the repair would cost, I should pay a higher price for the car. He offered me a lower price -with the check engine light on, or a higher price with it off! I was floored! He finally agreed to the lower price with the engine light off, but did not give me a straight answer about what the problem was. Less than 70 miles later (2 days of driving), the engine starts sputtering badly, and my trustworthy mechanic says that there is a serious issue with the ignition coils, and it will cost $1300 to repair. So I told my story to the Sales Manager, and ask what he'll do to help make this right. He tells me that he's sorry this happened, but his mechanics could not possibly have mis-diagnosed the problem, and that this "underlying issue" must have developed after I drove the car off the lot! He went on to say that he understands why I'm upset, but under state law he's honored his obligation. Sounds to me like he has heard from disappointed customers before; I am not talking about the law, I am asking for honest customer service! I do not trust this dealership to take care of me as a customer, and recommend that you look for another dealership. [another dealership] is great!

    I did my homework before buying a car, I knew what I wanted and knew the price for all the options. I waited for the right one for the best price and it was at Freeway Ford. I called about it and they were VERY helpful so I took the hr drive to see it. I felt no pressure and everyone was very nice. And I had called my salesman after I bought the car and he was more than willing to help me out. I totally love my 2013 ford focus! I would totally recommend this place to everyone!

    Great sales person (Brian) who listened to our concerns and patiently and repeatedly answered our questions until we got comfortable with leasing. There was absolutely no pressure to make a decision quickly.

  • Don't shop at Freeway Ford or at Morries of Minnetonka

    Went to this dealer ready to buy a Ford Explorer that was advertised on their internet web page for "X" amount. Test drove the car and liked it. Went into the showroom with the salesperson to do the paperwork. The salesperson looked up the car price and info on the internet and said "oh no there must be a mistake on the price of this car". He left and came back with the manager who said "mistakes happen" you can have this car for $3000 more and it will still be a great price. Funny thing is that the same thing happened at Morries of Minnetonka two weeks earlier. Manager even used the same exact verbage to explain the "mistake". Before driving the hour to get to this dealership we had spoken to the internet manager who verified that the vehicle was on the lot and verified the price. Internet manager told me "we price our cars low to bring people in". That sounded ok at the time but now I know what he meant. This is a deceptive and dishonest tactic that Ford Dealers are using to attract customers. It is wrong. They even told us that we should have known the price was wrong, putting the blame in our laps instead of admitting to their tricks. Don't shop here or at Morrie's. We had looked at all SUV's in this class and had decided on the Explorer. Will not buy a Ford now or ever again if this is how Ford treats their customers.

    I just recently purchased a new Ranger SC 4x4. Everyone that I talked with was friendly and considerate. My salesperson was very knowledgeable about the product. I did not feel pressured by anyone. I would rate my experience as excellent. I am completely satisfied with my salesperson and Freeway Ford.

    I was impressed with the whole experience from being greeted until the final handshake. There was no pressure, I was treated fairly and with respect.
