by Car Savvy on 12/31/2018In November I brought my vehicle in due to OnStar indicating low tire pressure on the rear passenger side of my 2017 Sonic.My tires were rotated and I was informed that nothing was wrong with my tires. Today, I brought my vehicle in for the… same issue (except this time OnStar indicated that the front driver side tire was low). I was informed today that I need a tire replacement. I'm pretty sure that the same bad tire was placed on the front driver side of my vehicle. This dealership has had me driving with a bold tire! I won't be back. by Ashley on 12/18/2018I am a big fan of having my car serviced at dealerships and have done so for years. However, recently went in for an oil change at this dealership and am very disappointed. Shortly before my oil change the check engine light came on. I know… that many car part stores will check the code for your check engine light for free and assumed that my dealership could also easily access this. When I arrived the person assisting me told me there was a fee for diagnostic work up for the car but it would be applied to any work that needed to be done. After an hour and a half wait I went to check on the status of me car as I had not heard anything. At that time I was told I owed over $190. When I inquired it was because of $114 charge to run the check engine code. The problem was that my coolant was low. Now, to be fair I do not know if the topping off of my coolant would be included in the oil change but at most places it certainly is. I was not told how much it would cost simply to run the check engine code (No other diagnostic work up was require) but surely I would not have agreed to pay $114 when any other decent place would do that for free. I felt, very much so, that the people working saw a woman alone and took advantage of my trust that they would act honorably. From buying my car, to getting my car serviced to the collision center - this place is customer focused. I am always 100% satisfied with their quality of… service. They should be the number one dealership in the state of Michigan with the superb service I ALWAYS receive. Consistency, positive attitudes, great environment - all of the employees are on the same page. The young lady who works in the cashiers office, the young lady who drives the shuttle - I am telling you this group of employees are superb. Hands down thee BEST dealership I have ever dealt with in my life. I have been buying cars since I was 16 and I am now 39. I will never buy another car from any other dealership. I will always refer my family and friends to James Martin.Fantastic Dealership!

The building is very large, modern, and clean; the sales agents are friendly like family; your new vehicle is financially tailored… to your comfort, and they do not just try to shaft a person into making a deal just so they can make loads of money. They will work figures until you are truly satisfied with a deal. They try hard not to let you leave empty-handed. During the day, they even give you lunch! I met the owner--Mr. James Martin--and he was very warm and friendly and offered to take my husband and me to dinner because we have been such loyal customers over the years.
