    I could have not ask for a better car buying experience, No pressure and they worked around my schedule to all come together in a timely simple fashion. Jeff Reichel hands down is the best salesman I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with and would recommend any one to come buy a car from him and Germain Honda!

    My wife did some research online and found the car at Germain. We spoke with them online and shopped around. Their price was fair and we are local so we stopped in. We meet with Luis Downy and he went over the pricing and did a little negotiation for a better deal. We went with the lease to buy option. Overall my wife and I are happy with the purchase and will consider buying from here in the future.

    I couldn't be happier about stopping in at Germain to ask about trading in my 2013 Elantra for 2016 HR-V. Kristal Caldwell was the sales consultant who took care of all the questions my husband and I had and made sure we were completely satisfied. We were interested in purchasing the EX model, but they only had the EX-L NAVI model in stock and Kristal along with Glenn Gottfried gave us an offer we just couldn't refuse. Besides being attentive, Kristal is very sweet, personable, pleasure to be around and most importantly, not a pushy salesman. We felt that she really had our best interest in mind and that counts for everything. Jeff Reichel didn't hesitate with searching various things to help Kristal out even though we weren't his direct customers and Evan Carrier kept checking that we were happy and contributed to our getting the top of the line model. Brian Waskiewicz helped with my initial questions before we decided to come in and with insurance mess ups after we purchased the vehicle. We will recommend Germain, Kristal and their team to anyone interested in purchasing a vehicle that fits their needs because that's what Germain is all about.

    I went in looking for a deal on a new vehicle and walked away with what I consider to be a very good deal on an Odyssey Touring Van. Joel Rosentreter, the sales manager, Jake Morgan, the sales rep, and Clifton Elasivich, the business manager, have been professional, courteous, friendly, and most helpful throughout the entire process. I could not ask for a better experience in buying a car because throughout the entire process I never felt pressured to buy a car. The only drawback was that we did have to wait for over an hour to complete the sale but that was understandable because it was very busy at the time with many other people buying cars. That being said, I do want to emphasize that the three gentlemen I worked with to complete the deal were great and I look forward to buying my next Honda from them in the future. I also want to add, that Jake emphasized over and over again to my wife and me that we should come in or call him at anytime and he would help us with getting to know all the in's and out's of our new van.

  • Excellent service, No pressure

    We were in town from out of state for a week, during which we planned to buy a Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla, or Mazda 3, for our daughter to drive. Evan Carrier at Germain Honda did a great job helping us buy a new Civic, with no pressure to buy. (Evan said that, since Germain took over the Honda dealership a couple years ago, they don't work on commission.) We also looked at cars at the local Toyota and Mazda dealers, but chose the Civic because our daughter liked it best. (The prices were all reasonably close.) We also liked the overall atmosphere at Honda better than the other dealers. Later, after buying the car, we heard from local family members that Germain Honda has a good reputation locally, which isn't true of all the other local dealers. Evan was also great in terms of promising to take care of our daughter when she needed it, including things like putting on the (out of state) license plates when we got them sent to her. After deciding to buy the car, and receiving a quote from Evan, we asked him what their best price was, and he went to his sales manager, who dropped it another $250. Before buying, we went online, thru Edmunds, and asked for quotes from 3 other dealers in the Ann Arbor area, who all came in with higher quotes. Although, after the initial price, one dealer did drop the price to $175 lower than Germain's quote; but we stayed with Germain, because we felt they had earned the sale, and because they were local, with a good reputation for both sales and service.

    Although I was initially apprehensive due to poor experiences with other car (and other Honda) dealerships, there was nothing unpleasant at all about my recent purchase at Germain Honda. I am a comparison shopper, and they were willing to match other dealers' prices. There was no "negotiation" per se, more an upfront and friendly discussion about pricing. No one took my license and held it (and me) hostage while they "talked to their manager." It was friendly and low-pressure, and they were upfront about details/pricing/financing. If I need to buy about Honda, I will definitely be going to Germain Honda. The whole experience was positive, and I can also recommend my particular Sales Consultant, Evan Carrier. He was friendly and genuine, and set a tone for the interaction that was matched by everyone else that we interacted with.

  • A Car-Buying Adventure!

    When I started my new-car search, I had no idea what make or model I'd purchase. I'd driven a dependable Toyota Camry for 16 years so I was likely to purchase a comparable mid-sized sedan to replace it. Germain saleswoman Kristin Malik patiently walked me through the three Honda vehicles that interested me -- Accord, Civic, and CR-V. I took the Accord and CR-V for a test drive on city, country, unpaved, and superhighways. Both were awesome but I warmed up to the CR-V when I thought about how I'd use a vehicle over the next 16 years. Kristin didn't pressure me when I left Germain, knowing I would check out other makes and models at nearby dealerships. I did just that, eventually returning to Germain to seal the final deal. Thank you Kristin in sales and Cliff in finance for streamlining my new-car-buying adventure, making it a no-hassle and pleasant experience, letting me mull things over at each step of the process, and being up-front and straight-forward about final costs. (This was NOT my experience at other dealerships.) I am confident my new mountain blue 2015 CR-V is the right vehicle for me in the years to come.

    My main contact was Luis Downey. He was polite, never pushy. I already had an offer from another Honda dealer for the same price; actually slightly better price. The process unfolded just as he said it would and he then introduced me to Glen in Financing, who was also very pleasant to work with. I was with my "significant other" who purchased a car for herself, although that was not why she was there. Had we not been treated so professionally, we would not have purchased these two cars from Germain.

  • FIVE STARS FOR JAKE MORGAN AND ZERO FOR JOEL THE SALES MANAGER

    Today I visited Germain Honda of Ann Arbor to buy CRV- EX AWD and met with Jake Morgan. He was a very nice gentleman and more so over he is very knowledgeable sales associate. He answered all our questions and Germain is lucky to have him. As we were negotiating a deal, the sales manager introduced himself as Joel walks in storming with an attitude that [non-permissible content removed] me off. I talked with for 2 minutes and he drove me away without making the deal. People like Jake Morgan work hard (spent 2 hours with me showing cars) to retain the customer and the sales manager drives away the customers. If you go to Germain of Ann Arbor, avoid meeting with Joel or Joe whatever his name is. Germain of Ann Arbor should note this point and reevaluate their staff to keep only the productive ones around.
