    When my car was having issues, Eddie Painter in service was very helpful in helping me schedule an appointment and was able to find a loaner vehicle at short notice a week before Thanksgiving. I was also very pleased that they were able to fix my car in record time and had managed to fix the issue. A very happy customer.

    Great customer service, Alisha was professional, and explained everything in detail. They are dog friendly. Loved the service video, and are honest, told me I didn’t need my tire rotations even though I scheduled it. They put the MPH on my dash instead of the mileage that I asked for. When it came time to pick up my car the communication was off. Service desk told me to wait at side door, when my car never arrived I took it in my own hands and found it parked in the front. Overall a great experience.

    I’ve been going to this Dealership for service and always experienced exceptional service to the account team. As a result I decided to upgrade to a new 2024 at this store. I met a sales person, Cassandra Bell. She worked diligently to get me the vehicle I wanted and a price I could live with. The most important aspect of the buying process was need feeling pressured at any time. Everybody from reception, finance and sales were all friendly and knowledgeable.   • Got the car I wanted

    Second time going to BMW Sudbury and each time was able to drive off in the cars I wanted. X3 was ready for tested drive when I arrived. BMW pretty much sell themselves however Chelsie did a great job to get things rolling. She was easy to talk too, wasn't pushy and was straight forward about everything after she talked with the managers. Worked with Joe D. on the finance side he was great. Showed me numbers better than what I excepted. At the end of the day that building is there to make Herb happy, at the end of my day I have to keep my wife happy, and she is.

  • Beware

    This week I brought my car in for service- it needed a new caliper on the right front wheel. I explicitly asked if the part was in stock and my service representative Yordanys said "Yes, and the job should only take about 5hrs and will be ready for pickup by close today." I was also told that with the parts, labor, and diagnostic fee, I should come in ballpark at $1000.00 max. I was also offered the complimentary car wash. Great. Fast forward a couple hours and I get an update from Yordanys, I was told that they did not have the part, and wouldn't have one until Monday (this was Friday). Additionally, apparently my car needed both front calipers replaced, front rotors, front pads, wear sensor and back rotors, back pads, and back wear sensor. The bill was now $3400.00. Huh. How about that. At this point I elected to take the car back and get the caliper replaced elsewhere. When I contacted Yordanys to let him know, he said that was fine, asked when I would be there, and said he would have the paperwork and car ready for me. When I arrived, the car was not ready, and the paperwork was not done. While waiting, I took a phone call, and my boyfriend who was with me, waited for the car. After 25 minutes, Yordanys came out with the paperwork and the diagnostic bill, making a snide comment to my boyfriend, "Good luck"....pausing...."that car is unsafe", not even bothering to apologize for the wait. So I paid the fee and left. As I was driving home, I realized the car had not even been washed. I paid $200.00 to have smoke blown up my butt. Do not go to BMW of Sudbury.

  • Longer wait than expected

    I dropped my car off on a Saturday at 2 pm. They asked me if I wanted to wait for it or leave it. I chose to leave it. They were doing a general diagnostic test on my car. I assumed it would be done by the end of the day on Saturday, but I did not hear anything at all. Just a general text to contact my service manager. I tried to text late Saturday and learned the manager was gone for the day. I called on Sunday with no response, then on Monday to find out when my car would be done. I was shifted from person to person over the course of 4 days. I finally got my car back on Thursday! When I went to pick it up there was no service person just a salesperson and I was just handed my paperwork to go on my way. In the future I will make it clear that I would like to know how long this will be taking.

  • Fastest & Most Streamlined New Car Sales Process

    I have been leasing cars for the last 20+ years, and I was very impressed with the process at Herb Chambers BMW of Sudbury from the outset. We live very busy, fast paced lives, and gone are the days when one has 6+ hours to waste in a dealership 'haggling' for a vehicle . It takes away from the joy of the occasion. At BMW of Sudbury, from the vehicle selection and price negotiations/discounts provided by Rachael (all online), to the follow-through and constant updates from Darwin, to the final contracts signing and close-out with Brian from the Finance Office - everything was handled in a professional and expeditious manner. And, Thanks to Michael (GSM) for running a well oiled operation. Much Appreciated!!!!!

  • Dishonest!

    I wish there was a way to give less than 1-star!! I have lived in MA for 10+ years and have bought 6 new cars over those years – every time I wanted to buy a new car my friends would say, NEVER buy from Herb Chambers! After 10 yrs., I thought they cannot be that bad than other car dealers in town. How could I be so WRONG! I bought a $140K “New” car from BMW Sudbury – which actually turned out to be a “demo” car which the dealer insisted, in writing, from the beginning that it was a new car and NOT a demo. They claimed the GM only test drove it a for a few of days (put 200 miles). It had all the features I wanted and they convinced me it was not a “demo” so I did the deal. The day I am picking up the car I find out, by accident, that it actually is a “demo” car – demand to speak to the GSM, Mr. Walsh, and he says that his team made a mistake by telling me that is was a “new” car and that I own it now and if I wanted to “sell” it back to them I could. So, lesson learned…Buyer Beware. NEVER buy from Herb Chambers car dealers!!

  • Jeremy D took care of me!

    I brought my 2015 328i in for service - it had an intermittent transmission/engine problem that another dealer tried to resolve by replacing the fuel tank (under a recall). That reduced the problem for a bit, but after a few months it came back worse than before. Herb Chambers BMW of Sudbury traced the fault to an interaction with the fuel pump, and replaced it under warranty at no cost to me. Kudos to Service Advisor Jeremy D and the technical team for figuring it out and keeping me informed. The dealer gave me a sweet loaner car up front, so the inconvenience to me was minimal.

  • They bait you with their online trade in value.

    I purchased my 2018 BMW 750i Xdrive from Herb Chambers Boston dealership. I wasn’t very happy with Boston dealer’s service and I started going to Sudbury dealership. I wanted change my vehicle and decided to purchase a used 2020 540i xdrive from this location. From their website I did request a trade in value for my vehicle. My car is in excellent condition, but their website gave me the Fair market value for $49K for my vehicle. I also got a quote from Herb Chambers’ Boston location, I got $52K for my vehicle. I clearly talked to the person who called me that I don’t want to get a low ball offer when I go to their dealership. She said I can bring my car and there won’t be a much difference. I was prepared, printed both estimates from both Herb Chambers dealers’ website. When I wet there they said they will pay $34K for my car. $15K less than the estimate they gave me. I waited there more than half an hour and the sales manager came with an excuse that my car is 750XI and the estimate was for Alpina B7 model. I told him that how that could be possible, I entered the VIN number and this car was originally registered with Herb Chamber’s dealership. He couldn’t give an answer. He said he’ll need to spend more than $10K for my car to sell at their dealership. It was the biggest lie. Because I always serviced my vehicle at Herb Chambers dealers and even the recent service video clearly says that my vehicle is in great shape and I don’t need to do anything until the next service which is 5 months later. I drove from Newton to Sudbury for nothing. Clearly they bait you with the online trade in value and they give a lowball value when you go there and try to trick you. The sales manager even told me that he can give me that $49K trade in value if I buy brand new 7 series which is more than $120K because they make a lot of money on those vehicles. I was in shock. I sent a complaint email to Herb Chambers’ headquarters and they didn’t even care and didn’t even reply me back. We have 3 cars in our household right now and purchased our last 8 cars in 9 years from Herb Chambers but we will never ever again do business with Herb Chambers anymore.
