  • Great experience

I had a great experience at Colonial South. I went in looking for a vehicle after going to a bunch of other stores. At all of the other ones, I had some sort of issue. Either the prices were too high, the selection wasn't great, or the staff was rude or incompetent. Thankfully, at Colonial South Chrysler I didn't have any of those problems. As soon as I got started walking towards the building, I was greeted by David Bernier. He didn't immediately try to push me into a car but actually listened to what I wanted and for how much. He was extremely knowledgeable about their entire product line, and I can admit that I was thoroughly impressed. With his help, I was able to find the perfect vehicle and at the right price. I'm just glad the search is finally over thanks to him.

I've always owned jeeps but never a new one until recently. I went in a few weeks ago and worked with David Bernier. He helped me find the perfect new jeep. I love it and I really liked working with him. The price was great for everything that was included. He was also great in answering all of my questions. Definitely recommend them.
  • great customer service

I went to Colonial South Chrysler Jeep and Dodge last year. I actually made the mistake of thinking they were Honda, but David was nice and told me they had moved a few years ago, but he was still willing to help me. I found a used Honda that I absolutely love! It was right in my price range, and it's a really nice upgrade from my previous car. Thanks for the help!
  • Poor care taken with a VIPER ACR

    1 out of 5 starsby vipertom2003 on 11/27/2014

You don't leave a VIPER ACR out in the parking lot overnight in inclement weather when you promise to keep it inside. Bad form. I will never bring my VIPER there for service!

My Family owns 4 Liberty’s, 2 Wranglers, 2 Ram 1500s and Cherokee between the seven of us. I was looking to buy a 2013 leftover Ram 1500 model and through research on the internet Colonial South had the most left. Went there on March 7th and picked out a truck, put down a deposit, and signed a purchase agreement. Once that was done I went straight to my credit union and was approved for my loan. Once home I emailed the finance person and told them I would be in on Thursday March 13th with the remainder of the money. I went in that Thursday and paid for the truck and was told it still had to be registered and the truck would be driven down to me the next day. On Friday they never showed up so I had to call them and they told me it would be one more day due to short staffing. Saturday came and went with no call from the dealer and they are not open on Sunday. Now it’s Monday March 17th, I am working 7pm to 7am night shifts and proceed to call as soon as I wake up. I was told my truck was still not registered and I would have to wait one more day. At that point I was getting very upset so I talked to the sales manager for reassurance that I was actually going to get my truck the next day; he told me that I absolutely would. Tuesday came and went and I did not receive a call and more importantly my truck. On Wednesday I called and was told I needed to come back in to sign a paper for my trade in. This was six days after I had already paid for the truck, was reassured by numerous people that I would have my truck day after day, and they just told me I needed to come sign something else. I went in on Thursday March 20th and signed the paper and was told I would get my truck that day by two different people. I told them I absolutely needed it to bring my tools down Cape Cod for a construction job on Friday. Again I never received my truck or even a phone call. I had to borrow someone else truck and incontinence them just so I could go to work. Finally the truck was dropped off on Friday March 21st. I was paying on my loan and insurance for 8 days without having the vehicle I purchased in hand; I had to borrow someone else’s vehicle just to get to work ; I was treated with complete disrespect from Colonial South and was not even asked what could be done to make up for my lost time and money. I have never had worse service in my life! My family will never buy from a Colonial dealership again and friends will be told of what I had to deal with so they do not have to go through the same course of events.

Purchasing a new Jeep Cherokee from CJD is a breeze and enjoyable experience. Mickey is a very friendly and knowledgable salesperson who go's the extra mile.

During our recent new car search, we were inundated on certain sales lot by sales people as soon as we got out of our car. Personally, I felt very uncomfortable. However, we had an entirely different experience with Colonial. Going into Colonial, we knew the vehicle that we wanted to purchase including features and price. We met with Dave B. who was personable, patient, and knowledgeable....no hard selling by Dave. Then we met with George S., in finance, who displayed the same attributes as Dave, personable, patient, and knowledgeable. Paul, the service manager, met with us for a bit to introduce himself to us and familiarize us with his department. Paul made time for us with an "extra" feature we wanted installed...on our time not his. Our experience was as relaxing and efficient as a $40,000 purchase can be. Go see Dave, George, and Paul. You won't be disappointed! A satisfied customer.
