Can’t say enough about the staff at McGovern CDJ in Newton, MA!

My salesman, Wilson, is the nicest person who went above and beyond for me during the entire process of me getting into a new 2024 Jeep Sahara. From driving the jeep over an hour away to my home so I could test drive it to negotiations of… the price to getting side rails installed to making the entire experience fun and non-stressful. Wilson went 10 steps above anyone I’ve ever dealt with in the past at other dealerships. He is not the typical salesman you run into when you go shopping for a new car. On the day of signing he literally ran around to make sure everything was perfect! Can’t say enough about this person. He truly is an asset to McGovern. It was even a pleasure to deal with Ricky and Zach. Both very professional and genuinely nice! Will definitely continue to use this dealership for every future car I get into. The overall experience just made it impossible for me to go anywhere else!

Horrible Scammy Dealership
by BC on 07/02/2025In brief, do NOT buy a car here. I test drove one of their cars, committed to purchasing it, signed all the contracts and the dealership signed the title over to me. I wired them the full payment the following morning. After that there was… ZERO communication with me. I had to call every day for an update. They were rude and nasty to me over the phone whenever I asked a question. Eventually I was told that the car had not been inspected before they sold it to me but they would put it through the shop and I could pick it up at the end of the week. On Friday I found out the car (I had already purchased) needed significant work at a Ford dealer. They sent the car over to the dealer and again there was no communication to me. I reached out to the Ford dealer and was told that the car would be ready in a few days. Next thing I know the dealership was calling me saying they had to refund my money with no explanation of why. They sent me a check and voided the sale. A few days later the car was for sale again! I don’t know what kind of games they’re playing but it’s absolutely NOT WORTH YOUR TIME. Do not go here, do not buy a car here. I don’t know what they’re going to do with the title they signed over to me but their business is shady at best.Garret was good Loan Pham ruined it

During my visit, I was engaging in a conversation with one of your employees, Garret, who was courteous and… helpful throughout. Unfortunately, this positive interaction was disrupted when another staff member, Loan Pham (based on the information from your webpage), interjected with a tone that came across as combative and unprofessional. Rather than assisting in resolving the matter, her approach assumed wrongdoing on my part, which was not only unhelpful but also discouraging. As a customer, I expect professionalism and a collaborative approach to resolving issues, and this interaction fell short of that standard. This experience has left a lasting negative impression, to the point that I am reconsidering future visits. Given that I live nearby in Newton, I have alternative options, such as Grava and Lawless, which I will now consider over your establishment. I believe this situation could have been avoided with better communication and customer service training. I hope you take this feedback seriously and use it as an opportunity to improve the customer experience for others.Burton, we appreciate you taking the time to voice your experience. Salesman Brian Quero walked me through the process in a professional way… less painful than the process can be.… Kind of hard sell by finance on the extended warranty, but that’s par for the course. Car came in well ahead of predicted time (1m vs 2-3m), very nice. No service yet bc brand new, but Brian did excellent job of establishing a relationship and line of communication.Bryan, we're delighted to hear that Brian made your experience at McGovern Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Newton smooth and professional. McGovern provides free Ubers when I need to leave my vehicle for extended service and many times I receive a complimentary wash. Last time I was in… they even vacuumed the interior. Wow! I always have them service my vehicle (breaks, tires, shocks, repairs) as well as get my oil changed, tires rotated, and inspection sticker updated. The waiting room is comfortable and they usually have coffee and snacks available.First time customer. Great customer service!

They were booked up for a few weeks. So I went to McGovern for the first time and they were… fantastic. Very friendly very efficient, nice clean waiting room. Set realistic expectation on time for the service and even finished early!Best Repair Service Ever!!

I had a pretty long list of concerns with my Dodge Charger, and they took their time to evaluate the issues reassured all my needs will be met. From Dan, Kevin and Scott, they… were all deligently kind and delivered the best repair service I have ever received. After repairing my car, they took it on a test drive and was not 100% satisfied with the outcome and brought it back in to evaluate further. Once the finale repairs were made, and I drove my car away, and felt like I was driving a new car. Thank you McGovern Jeep. I highly recommend your services to anyone in need of repair. If I could give you more than 5 stars I would!!Excellent Service

The guy did call me to pick up the car but ( 30 mins before they close) and I live… one hour away from this dealer. And when I got there my car wasn't washed.
