Refreshing Experience

Can’t recommend Colonial VW enough. I had been looking at different brands for a few weeks and found it refreshing to work with Steve Warren. There was no hard selling, no gimmicks or pitches, or pressure. He got us a fair deal on our trade… in despite it having about 150k miles and we were in and out in less than 2.5 hours with our new car. The financing process was straightforward and again there was no hard selling. Just a great experience and I would highly recommend Colonial VW and Steve Warren.

by golfsox78 on 07/15/2014I worked with James in sales and Ana in the finance dept. It was my first experience at Colonial VW and I have to say it won't be my last. I really don't enjoy the car buying experience because of wheeling and dealing at most dealerships… but working with this team we got right to it and I got a fantastic deal and a great car. I also got a finance rate that exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend the next time you want to purchase a vehicle take a visit to Colonial.The best!

Thanks to Kasser I had all my finance questions answered and they didn't even seem mad when I made them stay late (sorry). Thank you guys soooo much. by davidarubin on 06/26/2014Best car buying experience I've EVER had. These guys executed the most perfect team-selling approach I've seen in the business. Jason G fielded my phone inquiry. George M accompanied me on the test drive and did the preliminary paper work.… Scott C appraised my trade. And the entire team gave me the red carpet treatment to close the deal. Even the financing went amazing well with Kaser answering all of my questions and taking time to explain the fine print. I would not buy a VW from ANY other dealership, not just because Colonial gave me the best deal I could find, but because they treated me like a true customer not just a sales prospect. Every time I went to the dealership during subsequent visits, the entire team greeted me at the door and was genuinely invested in my satisfaction. If you are looking for a new or 'pre-loved' VW in New England, you need to go to Colonial VW. I guarantee your search will stop there. Thanks guys!Looking good in my Honda

I am very particular and even though it was a used car I was buying I wanted it the best looking it could be, they definitely hit the mark over… there. by DMack82 on 06/27/2014I went to two other dealers before buying a VW for my wife. I felt like I was being jerked around and to make sure I was getting the best deal I went into colonial. It was fairly straight forward I said ,"I need lease 15k a year for 3… years." James came back and said this is it all in beat the other dealers and was enough no bull for me to sign.Efficient and easy!

by Steve_Yates on 06/18/2014I had been shopping/looking at cars for a while, I called Medford VW about a CC I saw online, made an appointment, when I arrived the car was pulled up, a salesperson Matt introduced himself, he knew literally everything a bout the car, and… answered every question, when we got back from driving it ended up being passed closing, he did not rushed me out the door, we actually figured out I qualified for a special college grad program, anyways I told him I wasn't completely ready to decide and need some time ... A couple days later I came back haggled a little and drove away in my new car(CC) which I'm completely in love with, I even got a check back for my trade... If you want a VW go to Medford and definitely ask for Matt.Sloppy and Dishonest
by mannu1 on 09/28/2010I went to buy a car of particular color and first they tried their best to talk me out of it knowing fully well how important it was for me to buy it as a first car for my wife according to her choice. They openly said it will be pricier to… get it. Overall when we refused to pay their higher asking price. They called us 6 times at our home at all the wrong times knowing fully well that we have a baby at home. When I called them and agreed to their new offer which was half way between what we had departed upon, they called me back and reverted to their higher original price demand again. Completely dishonest and inhumane and brutal guys. They also employ old school tricks like printing invoices with random numbers to show that they are actually loosing money by selling car to you. Not only to make you feel bad that you negotiated the price. The guys here are so dishonest, insensitive and have no value for their words.Staff Doesn't Care About Customers
by arodsagirl on 07/23/2009I really am in shock over how I was treated by this dealership. I was ready to buy a car with them, checkbook in hand to give them a deposit. They told me I would have to wait till the vehicle came in, but I would have first choice of the… vehicle. They called and offered me the vehicle and I left them a message the next day telling them I would take it. I really wanted the car (paying sticker) but was then strung along 4 weeks with unreturend VMs. When I finally got them on the phone they had given the car to someone else, and were quite rude about it. The manager "Mark" got on the phone was Extremly Rude, called me names and hung up on me. I was an eager customer with good credit and my checkbook in my hand and cant believe they would treat anybody that rude and dismissive. They wouldnt even discuss finding me another vehicle. I am in shock! I can only assume that my family is not American enough for this dealership!Greg C. and Colonial VW of Medford are the BEST!

He had all the knowledge and info we needed to decide which Volkswagen was the best choice for our family. Greg was the best choice to take care of… us. The whole process was painless and our numbers were right in line with our comfort level....no back and forth or stuffy finance people. Everything was very straight forward and Greg secured our color of choice at a sister dealership and delivered as promised. When my wife Laura and I came to pickup the Tiguan with our four kids Greg took right over and entertained them to no end while we signed the papers. He even let our rambunctious 3 yr old sit on his lap as he explained all of the features first hand in the car in detail for us before we drove away. This is our second Volkswagen but first sales experience with Colonial and this family friendly dealership, service dept and especially Greg Cohen have earned our business for life! ~Paula G.Great buying experience for me.

It's been ages since I bought a new car, and I was worried I was going to get hassled and rushed (and indeed we were hassled and rushed when my wife and I checked out Subarus at City Subaru). We… worked with Mike Kingsley, who was very straightforward and calm throughout the whole process. His attitude was that the car would sell itself, and he didn't need to give us the bum's rush. The salesman James P. was very patient and straight forward in answering all my questions. I felt my time was respected as well as my finances. David let me come back for three test drives, answered all my questions, and checked in without ever pressuring me. In… the end I got the perfect car, at a great deal, with a really fair price for my trade-in. I couldn't be happier. The follow-up care has been great too. Everyone is always nice and helpful. Regular maintenance is handled efficiently, and they wash my car before returning it to me.Excellent Service :)

Commonwealth came back with the best quote. $1200 better than the original dealer I was working with. When I visited the dealership, they honored the quote with no questions… asked even after it was clear they did not have the exact color we wanted and need to bring it in from out of state. Additionally they offered us 40% more on the trade than the original dealer. The transaction went thru very smoothly and there were no surprises. I would recommend everyone to try them last for the best price and service.Excellent Sales Representatives

What do I love most about this place? There is none of the normal haggling over price… and trade in - these guys make the buying process easy and simple! Thank you Rob C. Ken and Derek for all of your help! I live 30 miles away and make the trip there because they treat me so good. These guys are truly professionals at what they do and the only dealership I know of to have the same sales team on staff for years. It is great to go in now on my 3rd vehicle and see all the same people. The guy who sold my first car remembers details I have long forgotten. When I need something years later, I call the service department and make an appointment. It is a fast and easy procedure where the staff understands often times I am running late and they have me out the door quickly! I really appreciate everyone at Colonial VW!
