Condescending
by SJP on 11/27/2019updated 12/02/2019Jermone was on his cell phone the entire test drive and was condescending and abrasive. I was told they were going to have both the Honda Pilot and Nissan Pathfinder ready at his location to test drive. When we got there we test drove the… Honda and then we had to walk across a busy street in the dark to the Nissan dealership to stand in the cold to wait for him to get the keys for the Pathfinder. We inquired about the Kia Sorento and he told us that wasn't the car for us and if we wanted a Kia it would be the Telluride. It was clear that he didn't want to sell us anything but the Honda (most expensive). When I was ready to buy he was busy bouncing back and forth from two other customers even though I had made an appointment with him. In the middle of the chaos, he had his dinner delivered and had to stop what he was doing to pay the delivery driver and get his food. He left me sitting there for 45 minutes while they were appraising my trade-in and came back with a low ball offer and then after I refused it they came back with another number that was double the first offer. He said he would have to have a manager appraise my trade-in and disappeared again with my keys. I got fed up and had to go to the manager's desk to ask for my keys and once again Jerome was nowhere to be found with them. I finally got my keys and got out of there. This would have been the 4th vehicle that we purchased with Commonwealth, not to mention we have referred a friend to purchase a car with them. I have purchased the Pilot from another dealership and had a better overall experience. I am seriously disappointed in the way I was treated and that car dealerships still use these tricks to get more money from consumers.Best car shopping experience

Jonathan was able to assist me in finding the car I was looking for at the right price. He was not pushy and I didnt… feel pressured to make a purchase. He was very knowledgeable about the car. The finance department was great,they got me a great deal and walked me through the finance process. Crunch Time

Commonwealth Honda in Lawrence MA was on the way home from work in Methuen so I figured I would check it out!. I googled reviews of the dealership and was… surprised to see all the positive feedback so I made it a priority to check it out. I was greeted warmly and cared for the entire time I was there. I was able to purchase a gleaming new 2018 Honda HRV in black with black interior which fits the grade very well! The colors are… all very nice and made my choice very hard. Commonwealth always gives you their best price right up front. The Commonwealth Honda Service Department is top notch and also has a clear understanding of the work to be performed at the best price. Wonderful Experience

Iban Rojas helped set me up with a new 2018 Honda CR-V and never… tried to sell me anything I didn't want. He was very polite and knowledgeable and answered all my questions prior to purchase. I knew exactly what I wanted before I stepped foot in the facility and came out with exactly that. Iban even called me a few times days after I drove my car home to ensure that everything was going smoothly and if I had any additional questions about the car's functionality. Brian Philo in finance went above and beyond to get me the great financing that I received and even helped set me up with insurance. They even provided a shuttle to and from the rental car lot. I was searching for a car by myself for about a week and was very frustrated working… with sales men. Kevin gave me a call and found this vehicle for me in less than an hour. He was extremely flexible and we went to look at the vehicle the same day. Kevin was able to go through the whole process with me from the beginning test drive all the way to picking up the car with ease. Before I got to the dealership to test drive the vehicle he had worked the price down to a number I was able to afford. Not only did he help me through the buying process but gave me ample advise about cars, loans, insurance and was personable along the way. I felt no pressure from him to purchase anything. I would not go back to any dealership without an auto advisor next time! The whole process was so simple from start to finish.
