New A6 Burlington Audi - a great experience

I find the sales staff to be much better trained than their peers in the industry, consistently professional and courteous. The purchase… experience is efficient and professionally managed. My sales consultant Brendan Leary is very personable and cares about each of his clients as individuals. His understanding and support during my purchase of a new A6 was a difference maker. I enjoy the process of learning about car can take a while to make a final decision - no pressure or phone calls with "deals." Having bought 5 new cars in the past 7 years, my experience with Burlington Audi was by far the best. The runner up was Herb Chambers Honda in Burlington - the other non Herb Chamber dealerships which I did reach the same standards and were not consistent during my visits.I sincerely appreciate the time it took for you write this great review about our team. This was no ordinary dealership. They asked all the right questions, and… make me feel right at home. I was pleasantly surprised, the overall car buying experience was quick, easy and most of all PAINLESS. I can't say enough about this dealership, and all the people who work here. Horrible buying experience
by pauljr0187 on 02/04/2015Just purchase a CPO Audi A3. Not a very good experience. Instead of writing a long story, I will just pin point the issues I had. Went to dealership on 12/27/2014 to test drive a 2015 CPO Audi A3 Prestige. great vehicle. Could not work a… deal out at this time. I pointed out to Jay that the left front rim and tire was damaged. He said he would it fix asap. If i should come back again the rim and tire would be fixed. Dealership and I had some phone conversation and tried to work a deal out. They dropped the the price from $38,998 to $34,998 on January 05,2015 via internet and Autotrader. I tried to contact them ( Phone messages, internet messages) from 6am to almost 3pm, before a email came back that that price was a mistake and the actual new price was $36,498.... They would not honor the advertised price. By phone we agreed to a trade in value for my trade and the price to the Audi A3 ($36,498). Told them I would be there Wednesday Jan. 07,2015 at 6pm Got there Wednesday....was told I could not take delivery of vehicle that night. Left rim and tire was not fixed. Was told I had to wait until Saturday for delivery, because that was the earliest they could get the rim fixed. ( remind you that I told them almost 2 weeks early the rim and tired needed repair) Sighed all paperwork Wednesday and told them not to include the $35.00 vehicle inspection sticker. Called Thursday to check on progress, no answer several times....Left numerous voice mails. Called Friday morning.... Finally got a return call mid afternoon from Jay, "I will look into how things are going" Calls back an hour later tells me the tire needs replacement, so I cannot have delivery on Saturday. I will have to wait to at least Tuesday. I tell Jay to make this work for Saturday or I will void the whole deal. Jay calls back twenty minutes later and states ""There is nothing the dealership can do, I will have to take delivery Tuesday "" I tell Jay " Void the whole deal, If I cannot have the car on Saturday with the repairs made, then keep it" Jay replies, " OK that's fine, have a good day" and hangs the phone up. I was floored that he was that willing to lose a sale like that, with all paperwork and bank approval set and done. Deal was sigh and sealed. Had to call the general manager and explain my whole situation to him. He was not a very happy person. He made things right as best as he could. he had all four wheels and tires replaced with a another vehicle so I would come up Saturday and take delivery. They put the $35 inspection sticker into my deal. I asked for a refund check. I was told I have to send proof to them that I had the sticker put on. Are you kidding me...I have to prove to them I had the vehicle inspected...No way. This is a scam on their part. They charge everybody a $35 inspection fee. If you do not have them get the sticker for you and you do yourself like I did, because I live an hour and half away. They are hoping you will forget or not remember they put it in the paperwork for the refund of the $35.00. Think about this 1000 people never get their sticker from Herb Chamber, but go to their mechanic and have one put on and pay out of their pocket and never request their $35.00 back from Herb Chambers. 1000 vehicles sold X $35.00 = $35,000 2000 vehicles sold X $35.00 = $70,000 All profit to Herb Chambers. If you don't ask for that $35.00 refund they will never ever send it on their own......HUGE SCAM.....BUYER BEWARE I am very unhappy with this dealership and would never buy or recommend this dealership to anyone I know. I went though with my deal because of all the time and effort on my part. I just wanted to finish up here, but I will never buy from Herb Chambers again. I buy a new car every two to three years. I have bought several new cars over the years. This by far has to be the worst experience i have ever had! I had ask for my CPO warranty paperwork that was not given to on delivery, because no went over the car with me. On 1/21/2015 I receive this e mail from Lauren the Internet manger "Paul, Despite giving us the lowest score this dealership has ever received on a survey as well as exaggerated and in many cases untrue online reviews, yes I did look into it and I will send it out in the mail for you. Like she is doing me a favor. Not my fault the staff there didn't do their job correctly. Best, Lauren I can back up everything in this review and nothing at all was exaggerated at all! To this day still nothing in the mail.....E mail Lauren 2/3/2015 and was told she mailed the paperwork already..... I am so glad I will never ever have to return to this dealership for anything. I can only imagine what their service department is like. Once I receive my paperwork I will not have to contact this dealership again. If you can find another dealership to purchase or have service done, do yourself a favor and find one. You will only be disappointed with this dealership.Excellent service and quality

Terrible Experience
by JNewCarBuyer on 09/30/2014I leased a Q5 from Audi of Burlington in June 2014 after recently moving to the area that same month. This experience has been the worst retail/customer experience of my life. Unfortunately, I learned a lesson that many have learned,… which is don't trust a car salesman because they will say anything to sell you a car and omit facts if necessary. I thought Herb Chambers dealerships had higher standards, but this dealership employed the traditional tactics of a two-bit used car salesmen, and the manager of the dealership stood by these tactics . When I went to the dealership in June, they offered me $x down and $x/month ALL INCLUSIVE OF ANY TAXES AND ANY FEES for the Q5 lease. I asked several times if there would be ANY additional charges or taxes. They said no. They said my payment would be $x/month, including ALL taxes and there would be no additional charges. I was even walked through the lease and there was no mention of the possibility of any additional taxes/charges. I wanted to be very clear about my payments to Audi Financial Services so I asked several times about ALL the possible payments to them. They lied to my face. I just received a bill from Audi Financial Services for nearly two times the monthly payment they told me. I called the dealership and spoke to the general manager. He told me that the sales people should have disclosed that I might receive another bill for taxes, but that they are "not obligated" to do so. I am amazed he said that and that this is the standard he holds the dealership to with customers. I thought the Herb Chambers standard was to be as straightforward as possible and care about customer satisfaction?? The general manager then told me to pay the extra amount and that he didn't care if I complained further (he may as well have given me the middle finger - though this feels worse). This was an incredibly deceptive and not a straightforward way to do business (as Herb Chambers advertises). This dealership lied by omission regarding the taxes that were due on the car to make the sale. We were actually thinking about getting a second Audi because we like the actual car, and I would have likely rolled into another Audi lease after this one ends, but I will never do business with a Herb Chambers dealership again. Congratulations Herb Chambers/Audi of Burlington/Adnan you got the better of me this time. I will go into my next car purchase with more knowledge and a lesson learned.Best car buying experience ever!

Adam M was our salesperson and he was just terrific. He was very accommodating, answering all our questions and… taking all the time we needed. I felt that he actually cared about us making the right choice. We were also treated with respectfully when it came to the numbers negotiations, giving us a fair price for our trade in. Lastly I want to give special props to Billy, the lot manager. He went above and beyond to let us know our car had arrived on the truck as we were signing the paperwork. It's the little things that add up to a great experience. Outstanding Audi Burlington dealership

Before my wife and I decided to go on the search for a new car, I read customer reviews of all the Audi dealerships and decided to visit the… Burlington dealership. We are thrilled that we ended-up at this class location and we certainly believe it lived up to its outstanding reputation. In short, we bought an Audi A4 and couldn't be happier with the car and dealership! I am a past owner of an Infiniti and wanted to see what Audi had to offer before I looked at the new line of Infiniti. We walked into Audi Burlington and immediately met up with David C. We were very fortunate to find David, a very smart, knowledgeable and honest salesperson that we felt very comfortable with. I am used of fast-talking salesman who would do anything to get you to sign on the dotted line! Fortunately, this isn't David; he is there to provide real assistance. Mikail M is a sharp Manager who we had the pleasure of working-out the final sale. Like anything worth investing in there is a little back and forth. Mikail was willing to negotiate and did it in a way that didn't turn me off. In the past, I have actually walked out of a dealership while negotiating for a car because I decided that I didn't want to be locked into a shady dealership. Mikail did a great job of finalizing the deal for both the dealership and us. I feel we all won! I picked-up my Audi at the dealership and David took the time to go over everything. Again, as always, did a tremendous job outlining the purchase I made and told me to come back in a week or two to review everything. Thanks again to David, Mikail and Jimmy G in the finance and business department for everything. Service Experience Beyond Compare
by DH01810 on 09/11/2014I am pleased to share an extraordinary customer care experience that I received from Jim P, Service Consultant at Audi Burlington. I have been bringing my Q5 to this particular dealership for all of its servicing needs for the past… four-and-a-half years. At each visit, I have consistently been treated with respect and made to feel that being in this dealership is special experience. On August 27, I began a trip that would entail traveling to Pennsylvania and Maryland to drop off my college students' belongings at their respective schools. I was traveling in my wife's Acura MDX (my Q5 would not accommodate all of the gear) with every possible inch of storage space filled with bags, boxes and sporting equipment. As I left my office and headed for the highway, I noticed that there was no cold air blowing from the vents. I immediately called two Acura dealerships to request an emergency appointment or, perhaps, an MDX loaner. Both turned me down saying there was nothing they could do on such short notice. Incidentally, I have spent over $15,000 in servicing at one of these dealerships over the years. At this point I was concerned by the prospect of a seven-hour drive ahead of me and an even longer return home, considering the traffic on the Friday of Labor Day weekend with an 80 plus-degree forecast and no air conditioning. I considered my options, including rental cars, which would have further delayed my departure before I found a nearby facility that had a vehicle available to accommodate all of my luggage. It occurred to me to drive to the Burlington Audi dealership, which is fairly close to my office, with hope that they might be able to resolve the problem with the air conditioning or offer an alternative suggestion. I was greeted by Jim, who typically takes care of me when I come in for servicing, and explained my situation. He said, "No problem." He offered to look at the Acura, perform the diagnoses and hopefully the repair. Since my time was getting short with a long ride ahead of me, I presented what I thought was a farfetched request and asked if, by chance, a loaner vehicle might be available for use. Jim in no way appeared thrown by my request and indicated that he needed to check with his manager. I can assure you that I was absolutely elated when he shared the good news. I was also extremely grateful for this gesture that absolutely validated the value that the Audi Burlington dealership places in my business. I generally hold American Express as the bar to which other service organizations should aspire. The customer care experience that I received last week at Audi Burlington was beyond compare and certainly the most gratifying customer care experience I've encountered personally and professionally. Huge thanks to Jim, the management at Audi Burlington and Herb Chambers leadership for instilling the value of a good customer into their staff and operations. Their actions will unquestionably shape my decision for future purchases.Thank you for taking the time to share this fantastic review! I'm in sales so I'm pretty critical when it comes to salespeople. Adam is young guy, relatively new to the business but… you'd never know it. So when it was my turn to purchase a car, I naturally went straight to the same dealership. Unfortunately, the salesperson we dealt with… in the past had retired so I was a little nervous going with someone new. Boy did I luck out. Caitlin was absolutely fabulous! She knows her product very well and simply can't be beat when it comes to customer service. She walked me through the whole process of ordering an RS5 to my exact specifications and kept me informed of the status of my car as it made its way to the dealership. Once it came in, she spent over two hours showing me how every last item on the car worked and answered all my crazy questions. Even three weeks after picking up my car, she is still attentive, making sure I'm happy with the car and that any additional questions get answered. We were greeted by a friendly face, Adam M, when we walked in last Saturday morning. The entire experience from start to… finish was pleasant and fun - no pressure at all. Adam helped us figure out what we really needed in a car and what was important. He was then able to help us narrow down our selection and we now know that we chose the best car for our needs. We usually take a long time making decisions, but this one was easy for us. We were in and out on Saturday without hesitation. Adam was just the best! We couldn't be more pleased with the level of professionalism. There was absolutely no pressure. Buy your CPO Audi Elsewhere
by r1200gs1 on 07/22/2014Be forewarned about their Certified PreOwned cars. I bought a CPO 2011 S4 and have been back to the dealership numerous times for missing and broken parts as they were discovered. I even resorted to taking the car to a different dealer who… had their area rep goodwill some deficiencies they said should never have been present on a CPO car. There were enough problems to warrant getting the Audi Customer Experience Center to intervene. Even with that, the dealer stopped short, refusing to provide a missing part of the front grill that was not replaced when the paint was resprayed (a fact also discovered months after the sale). The 300 point CPO checklist is used here only as a sales tool. It is on you to verify every detail carefully. These people are fine with selling cars that are not qualified under Audi's CPO standard. I'd suggest shopping at a non-Herb location.Outstanding Service

My sales rep Michael C was charming, knowledgeable, and had the patience of a Saint. He was never pushy and went out of… his way to make sure I was satisfied throughout the entire process.
