  • Vape found in car

    Routine maintenance. Total came out to around $100 more than the estimate and advisor said she “forgot” to add in other things but did not have an explanation for it. I found a vape in my car a few days later under my seat leading me to think it was used recreationally in my car. Manager did not respond to my complaint. I will not be returning.

    I purchased my Honda Fit from Herb Chambers in Burlington in 2010. I’ve been a faithful customer for 15 years and have received importable service. My last visit was OK. I made an appointment for 10 am and even brought it early at 9:30. The reason was a house in my exhaust which was discovered had a hole in the secondary catalytic converter. The charge was $189 to even look at it. I needed an oil change, tires rotated and was told that my brake fluid required changing. My wait time was 4.5 hours. The suggestion to take my car elsewhere for the exhaust welding was excellent. Total price for the assessment, and other service came to $429. As I exited the parking lot onto my next errand, my foot while braking went to the floor. I pumped the brakes a few times with little change. I drove it back and explained what happened. This resulted in another hour of waiting. Honda did handle it, but it required completely draining the line and refilling. My Honda runs perfectly and I believe that it is due to having their service techs and genuine Honda parts installed. The tech drove my car after the second brake fill.

    June Fraser was the Service Representative for my Honda Passport. Not only did she act professional but had a warm, kind and welcoming personality. She informed me on what was going to be done on my Passport and told me to call or text her if I had any questions or concerns. I highly recommend June Fraser at Herb Chambers in Burlington, MA and will request her the next time I bring my Passport in for service.

    I recently went to the dealership due to an emergent need, Leah, the Service Representative jumped on the issue even going to my car to see if she was able to take care of it; more complicated and as time progressed I was given a loaner car which was wonderful. I should also mention the Service Manager, excellent as he explained the technical issue, expressed auto part & addressed my problem - great service!

    The dealership notified me promptly when they received the parts for a recall on my CR-V. I was able to schedule a next-day appointment online which was also great! When I arrived to the service department, Jeffrey was a friendly face and helped me get set up for service with both of the recalls on my vehicle. The service was completed faster than I was told the wait time would be. Overall, great service and I will continue to get my vehicle serviced here!

    I’ve bought a few cars at HC of Burlington and have been pleased with all aspects of the transactions involved. I was in this time for new tires. It was smooth sailing. Dropped off at 10 am, car was ready before 4 pm. I went to Town Faire Tire before Herb Chambers (b/c of proximity as I was driving on a spare) and the price was comparable but they couldn’t schedule the actual service job for an additional 5 days out. Normally when I drop my car for service at Herb Chambers they wash & vac it (love that) but they didn’t the last 2 times.
