I purchased a new 2025 Corvette Z06 from Criswell, via Brad, Doug, and Eric. I was on a list for over 3 years. Museum Delivery can be tricky with timing, and I had a narrow time window. Criswell worked with me to get all paperwork completed… on time to get my R8C completed within my time window. This was a great thing. Thanks a ton to them!

Deceptive Pricing—Be Cautious
by Sean on 05/01/2025I contacted this dealership after seeing a price listed on Edmunds. When I spoke to Vince, he immediately added on $200 for tint, $200 for wheel locks, and even re-added the freight charge—which was already included on the window… sticker. The $2,000 trade-in “discount” turned out to be a bait tactic, with no real transparency on how it was applied or valued. by LL on 03/22/2024I recently started shopping for a Silverado high country diesel. Criswell had one so my wife and I drove up to look at it. We were not expecting the visit to go the way that it did. We took a 5 minute test drive and the salesman said that,… "unfortunately the vehicle is not available for sale." We didn't have a problem with that. So, we let them look to see if they had another one available, then gave our name and phone number. We were ready to leave because they didn't have another 1500 diesel high country or any other 1500 diesel. I wasn't trying to waste time on stuff I didn't want. Then we were told to wait 10 minutes, and found that the vehicle was for sale. So, we talked numbers; which changed a lot from their own website (not third party). I told them that I would be trading my 2022 mega cab. My wife and I had to leave to get to our kid's game. I told them that I would try to make it back down that night by 8:00pm and we could finish up with an appraisal on my trade. Well, I wasn't able to make it back down by 8:00. I stayed in touch with them, and let them know that we would be back the next day. They said that it was fine. A few minutes later I get a call back saying that it wasn't going to work and the vehicle wouldn't be there. I would never have guessed that they would offer a $73,000 truck up for a 5 hour purchase window, then close it because we couldn't make it back that night. We live over an hour away, I'm not going to miss my kid's first game, and I clearly wanted it. I would have placed a deposit on it but it was never asked for or offered; I didn't think I needed to. Actually, it probably shouldn't have been offered up at all, because whoever it's going to, the manager was willing to sell it out from under them. The manager handled this terribly and has no business being in a management position. I didn't have a problem when they said that it wasn't "unavailable" the first time. But now, here I am writing a review because they wasted my time. I don't typically writes reviews and will just let stuff go, but I feel strongly enough to let people know that there are better places to do business than with Criswell Chevrolet in Thurmont, MDBuying my first NEW truck

He made me feel very welcomed, like I was one of the family. In fact, every staff… member I came in contact with was extremely welcoming and pleasant. by JulieBolt on 06/20/2015Drove an hour to look at a car and was about to write a check and leave with one when "Rob" came out and started lecturing and trying to intimidate me saying, "if you want Kelly Blue Book Value for your car you need to pay it for our car".… They had a 14,000 sale in hand and i was just going to sell my old car on Craig's List or I may have just taken the $500 they were offering. If you like "playing hard ball" and exchanging snotty comments this is the place for you.
