Excellent service
by Edouble21 on 01/11/2016Excellent dealership and salesman Steve lefko, i visited several other dealerships before visiting Al packer and could not be happier with my descision to purchase from them. They were able to get me the vehicle i wanted nd even helped with… my trade on negative equity. I will definitly go there for all my future car purchases.Excellent Shopping Experience
by Cowboys2016 on 01/13/2016Bought a slightly used Ford Explorer from Arnold Silverman at Al Packer last week and it was the best car buying experience I've ever had. Arnold was not pushy at all and knew the Explorer inside and out. I haven't always been a Ford… buyer but love the Explorer so I'm sure I'll be back in the future when it is time to upgrade!Great service
by JakeEvens on 01/13/2016I had a great experience at AL PACKER FORD, my sales representative was Bernedette Pinder. She showed me all of the options for a ford escape that were available without being pushy and trying to pressure me into just buying anything. We… found the vehicle that best suited my needs for the price. It was overall a quick and easy process. My recent purchase
by Pathuffman13 on 01/10/2016I recently purchased a new Ford fusion from Al Packer. At first I was a little worried because I spent 5 minutes walking around looking at the vehicles before I decided to walk into the dealership. Once I entered I was immediately greeted… and told that Saturdays are always a little busy. I then sat down with Bernie. She was answered all of my questions and narrowed down a couple of options for me to look at. She pulled them up to the door and went on the test drive with me. She then went over all of the options that the vehicles had to offer. I was very pleased with my experience with bernie and the way things were explained by John in the finance office. It has been a few weeks since my purchase and I have received two follow up calls making sure that I am completely satisfied with my purchase. I will be going back with my wife in a few months to buy and suv.Great Experience
by Hmetzler12345 on 01/11/2016I had a great experience in purchasing my car from Arnold Silverman at Al Packers. I've referred a few friends and family that have also purchased here and worked with Arnold. I am so pleased that he took such good care of them when they… were in to make a purchase. I love the location and the staff is always so nice and helpful when I'm in for service or to make a purchase. I couldn't be more happier with my experience here and I'd recommend anyone to this dealer and will continue to come here for my future purchases. No pressure car buying
by joshprkna on 01/07/2016I walked into Alpacker with low expectations on getting a new car. I knew I owed a lot on my trade and had been sent away from other dealers. Instead of giving me the cold shoulder Al Packer took their time and really tried to help me. Not… only did they give me more for my trade but we found a car with enough incentives that I didn't have to add anything to my new loan. Never did I feel pressured or rushed into making a decision. I've purchased lots of cars and this was by far my best experience. Josh PrknaPrompt and accurate responses
by Luckyandhappy on 01/01/2016After car accident, I was looking for a mid size 4X4. Did some online research before I made appointment with AL Packer's Ford. Sales lady Ms. Bernadette Pinder located both of my top picks. I bought my 2016 Explorer with 2 times of more… discount than other dealer could give me. We did all paper works over the phone and my car was ready in several days. Couldn't be happier.2016 Ford Focus- Nathan Burgess
by taylorls on 12/26/2015Nathan at Al Packer did a great job selling us a 2016 Ford Focus!! Thank you!Best Car Buying Experience Ever
by Blastfan17 on 12/19/2015I could not be happier. I went through the USAA auto buying service and talked to Josh the manager who sent me an offer right away on a vehicle I liked. I went in and met with Steve and he showed me the truck and 90 minutes later I left in… my brand new truck. I have had horrible experiences in the past at other dealers but this time was different. I knew exactly what the price would be and there were no surprises. The next time I buy a car I will be calling Josh and Steve.Great Experience
by jodadej12 on 12/19/2015I purchased a Fusion through the price promise program. I was contacted by Patrick who told me the vehicle was available. I showed up and he had the vehicle ready for me to drive and was very knowledgeable about all of the features. We went… inside to talk numbers and it could not have been easier. They honored the price I saw online. John who did the financing was very nice and not pushy at all when I declined any warranties and finished the paperwork very quickly. I would highly recommend Al Packer and the price promise program to friends and family.Stay away from this dealership
by dlane71980 on 12/11/2015Stay away from this dealership go elsewhere. Believe all the reviews that you read on this dealership quoting and agreeing on one price and then charging another. I bought a 2011 Ford Mustang at the dealership on 12/05/2015 after arriving… at the dealership I was told the price of the car was 12974.00. I pulled out my cellphone and showed the salesperson the price on the website was 10974.00. The salesman asked if he take my cell phone to show the sales manager I said OK. The salesperson came back after about 5 minutes and said they could do the price of 10974.00. I waited about an hour to an hour and half for financing. When I went back to financing in my haste and excitement I didn't notice that they had switched the price to 12469.00. When I called to ask why the price was different I have been given different answers from different people. Also they are refusing to refund me the 1495.00 that I was overcharged after the agreed upon and shook on price.Bait and Switch In the EXTREME
by becautious on 08/30/2015Lies, Lies, Lies... Not just a great Guns & Roses album, this is apparently the corporate motto at Al Packers Ford in White Marsh. In short, they bait you in the door with excellent prices on the internet, then when you examine a… vehicle and tell them you'll take the deal at the advertised price, they come back with a final price over 5,000 dollars HIGHER than advertised. My experience there on 8/29/15 was horrible! The first lie they told was that the truck I wanted had been transferred days ago to another dealer. As I'm walking the lot not finding anything that interests me getting ready to leave, the sales rep asks if I'd consider a "demo". I said sure, let's take a look... turns out the "demo," is the exact truck (confirmed with the VIN on the window sticker that I printed off their website and brought with me to the dealer) that they lied about earlier when they said they had supposedly transfrerred to another dealer days ago. They then go on fumbling to explain away this first lie with numerous, evolving new lies. We ask if they will knock some money off since there is obvious damage to the truck (gouges in the 20" rim and scratches to three panels on the passenger side, they proceed to lie about how the truck was damaged... "Someone backed into the truck while it was parked here on the lot"... really, how is it then that the gouges in the rims clearly indicate this truck was in motion when the damage occurred... more lies are spewed to cover this lie. Next, indicate they will not knock off any money but they will fix the damages before delivery. I could go on & on, suffice it to say - having dealt with dozens of auto dealership in my life - I have NEVER seen a dealership lie so blatantly AND bait & switch on price so significantly. I pray someone in Maryland gives this dealership what they deserve and prosecutes their blatant bait and switch tactics under the following code: 2010 Maryland Code COMMERCIAL LAW TITLE 14 - MISCELLANEOUS CONSUMER PROTECTION PROVISIONS Subtitle 29 - False Advertising and Related Crimes Section 14-2903 - Bait and switch. § 14-2903. Bait and switch. (a) Prohibited.- A person may not advertise for sale merchandise, commodities, or service through an advertisement describing the merchandise, commodities, or service: (1) As part of a plan or scheme with the intent not to sell the merchandise, commodity, or service at the advertised price; or (2) With the intent not to sell the merchandise, commodity, or service. (b) Penalty.- A person who violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to imprisonment not exceeding 1 year or a fine not exceeding $500 or both.Great Experience
by frederickr1 on 08/25/2015It was a pleasure dealing with Bernadette Pinder, She went above and beyond from start to finish, no pressure, very patient and thorough long after closing time. I will highly recommend her and Al Packer's White White Marsh Ford to all my… friends and family. I have been very happy with all my dealings with you guys. Thank You Very Much Fred ( Love My New F150 :)Best Buying Experience Ever
by FreeMan2014 on 05/20/2015I had a very good experience. I worked with Josh and Richard in their internet department and had a very smooth transaction. I referred my neighbor to them and he had an equally good experience.Poor sales
by notapackerfan on 05/16/2015I just tried dealing with them and what a joke they are.First off their advertised priced is $7,000 dollars less then their actual price and then the try to offer you a ridiculous trade in amount.Stay away from these [non-permissible… content removed] and go elsewhere.Excellent Customer and Technical Service
by airballrad on 04/25/2015Every service visit to Al Packer has been fast and top-notch. The facilities in the waiting area are clean and comfortable, and the staff are all very nice.Buyer Beware!!!
by dismayed4 on 04/02/2015Update - It has only been a day and half and it is already in the service center. They have to replace the clutch in the car - we did not even have a chance to drive it a full day before the problems arose. On a side note if you are just… looking for service -- Chris and the service people I came into contact with today were very helpful and professional. He took the time to explain the issue, tell me about the manual auto trans that was never explained to me by sales and even went out of his way to call other dealers to locate the backordered part. It really is a shame they can not find that quality in their Sales General Manager.lack of communication
by beckyofcarroll on 01/07/2015The service in the end was excellent, however my car experienced a problem that was difficult to find as it was intermittent, and a lot of trial and error was performed. I would have spent fewer trips to the dealer for service had the… technician come and listened to the problem initially. Instead I traveled to and from the dealership too many times. Once they kept the car to figure it out, as I refused to bring it home, they pursued it and found the issue. My car went back and forth 5 times and after a two week stint in the shop during the last time, I had to call repeatedly to find out the status. I would have liked to have had an update a couple times instead. All in all, the dealership made good on things and I had a rental car for the entire time the car was in the shop and the costs were minimal.Go somewhere else
by JRay2568 on 12/17/2014Horrible dealership..... Went in to purchase a car, first thing I told the salesman, Richard, was that I needed a non-smoker car, as my wife is sensitive to the smell. We found a Fusion, and it smelled great(at first). The "Bottom Line"… price was listed at $12,641, and when I showed Richard the online price of $10,900, he stated that price did not include freight, or an $1100 inspection fee. We spent several hours doing all the paperwork, and after I had signed over my trade and were doing the final paperwork, the base price of the car jumped to $13,500. I was told they put the freight charges on to the base price, not listed on the bill of sale like tax, title, tags and dealer processing fee. I get the car home, and after about 4 days, the air fresheners used on the car began to dissipate, and you could smell the odor of smoke starting to come out. I called/emailed Richard, and he sent me an email asking me when I could bring it in. I sent a response with a date/time and did not hear anything back. I went to the dealership at the appointed date and time that I had sent, and was told the interior guy only comes on Fridays, Richard went in to the back to find a service manager to find out what time I could come in on Friday, but could not locate him, so he said he would call/email me back to confirm a time( They did offer to buy the car back for $11,000 , more than $3000 less than paid just 4 days prior...what a joke). Two days later, with no response, I emailed Richard, and informed him that the rear defrost was not working at all either. Two weeks go by, and no response, so I emailed Richard again, detailing my entire experience with his dealership, and my displeasure at not receiving a response or a solution to the problems. I also stated that I would be leaving reviews on various sites that reflected the poor service and practices that I experienced . I also copied 4 managers on the email. The only response I got back was from Richard, threatening legal action if I put up negative reviews. I never heard from a manager, and never got a time to bring the vehicle in to address the issues. That was more than two weeks ago. I regret ever stepping foot on their lot. BUYER BEWARE Norris / Koons / or any other ford dealer would be a much better choice. We continue to appreciate the service department
by freestyle2006 on 12/12/2014We own a 2006 Freestyle and a 2013 Focus, which are maintained by Al Packer. Our service rep., Billy Fitzpatrick, makes sure our routine service is done properly and monitors any other repairs or adjustments that may need to be made. He… also works to keep our cost as low as possible. The cars are always ready at the projected time. We always feel confident that our vehicles will be maintained and repaired properly. Thanks to Billy and the service techs, we expect these vehicles to last as long as our 1995 Explorer did, being traded at 273k miles for the Freestyle.First Service Experience at Al Packer
by Marcie48 on 12/10/2014David Worth was my service rep at Al Packer. He was very helpful answering my questions and my car was finished within the time frame he gave me. Definitely a 5star experience.
About our dealership
I wish I had seen your review before I went - they id the same thing to me and I can't seem to get a phone number or contact information for the ownership. This is so horrible - my daughters first real car experience and she is going to end up paying so much more for this car because it as late and we signed the contract but I did not realize until I got home that it did not add up right.
