    I went in to cosign for a vehicle for my mom this evening. For buying a car it was pretty much hassle free. I was appreciative that our sales rep, Kelsey, use her time affectively throughout the process. It made it go smoothly.

    My Wife and I just purchased a 2019 Kia Sportage at Hagerstown Kia and are very pleased with how they did everything they could to get us the best deal possible. Definitely the best buying experience we have ever had by far. Jim Smyly was our salesman and we highly recommend him. He never stopped fighting for the deal we wanted and between him and the awesome sales managers they made it happen.Anyone shopping for a new or used vehicle should definitely give Jim Smyly a call or stop in and see him. You wont regret it.

    Our salesman was Stacy. He was very professional, answered all our questions, very knowledgeable about the vehicle. He answered every cell call from my husband - met us at our request. He made sure when we took possession of the vehicle everything we asked for had been done. Could not have asked for better service! Thank you Stacy!

    My husband and I purchased a new KIA Sportage. I would recommend seeing Jim Smyley if you are ever shopping for a vehicle. Mr. Smyley was extremely polite, knowledgeable and helpful. We never felt 'pushed' to purchase our car. Jim made a process I used to dread--walking onto a car lot--a very pleasant experience!

    Recently in the market for a new car, received a trade-in amount for 2 vehicles from dealership and began to shop. Dealership has 2 facilities on property (Honda and KIA - Jim typically works out of KIA, but told my wife and I if we opted for Honda he too could assist us). We found the perfect car (2019 Honda Fit) but it didn't have all the options I requested. Jim told us he had another vehicle, a few thousand more but it was due to all the additional electronics that I wanted (& additional safety features). My wife and I conferred and agreed on the car, the price, etc. but when it came time to honor the trade-in for our 2 cars, it was suddenly $1K less than was promised 3-weeks earlier. In all fairness to Jim Smyly, this trade-in amount was provided by the KIA dealership next door, so Jim appeared as surprised as we were. This made it simple for us, we gathered our licenses, paperwork, etc. and prepared to leave. We thanked Jim and stated it wasn't personal, but we would take our trade-ins to Frederick or the larger dealerships in the D.C. Beltway as I was sure I could get the additional 1K originally promised by KIA. Jim politely asked us if we could wait a few more minutes as he wanted to convey that we were leaving, in less than 2-minutes he returned and stated that 'since it was stated previously the amount we would receive (I should add that KIA had already inspected both vehicles before offering me my trade-in value) was previously committed to, Honda will also honor what KIA had agreed to’. When it came to financing the new car purchase, we had already contacted our credit union and knew we could obtain a loan, however Jim informed us that 'I cannot say for sure, but the % you mentioned sounds higher than what the bank we use at the dealership can offer, would you like me to inquire on your behalf'? We agreed, and Jim returned with an excellent loan rate that was 3/4 % point lower!!! My only call-out (which has nothing to do w/Jim) - simply put it always seems to take 3-hours to buy a car even after you have made your choice - that has been my personal experience over the years, regardless of the dealership. Jim Smyly is a man of high moral fiber and integrity. I enjoyed purchasing my new car, but more than that, I enjoyed having Jim as my sales person. Perhaps I am naive, but I left feeling like I had made a friend, and it wasn’t 24hrs later that I realized I had left some personal belongings in one of the two vehicles I traded in, it took one call to Jim to resolve it all and I had my belongings the next morning. To summarize, a new-car is just that, a new-car. No sales person built it or repairs it, but you have to trust that things you cannot put on-paper in your interaction with the sales team, are in fact 'true'. Hands down, that’s what I got when dealing w/Jim. Due to inclement weather, I had not been able to really hand wash my new car to go over it with a fine-tooth comb like most of us do with a new car purchase. It wasn’t until a week-plus went by that I was able to do this. When I did, I found a tiny scratch in the paint on the back hatch of my car that I didn’t see when I did the walk-around at purchase. It only took one call to Jim and the service personnel called me and had me bring the car back in. Within one hour it was taken care, to such perfection I truly cannot say where the chip was anymore. Did 'Jim' repair it? Obviously not, but he was there with the same passion and support that he was throughout the purchase. There are some good people out there in this world, and I am pretty sure that I can include Jim Smyly in that group. When I need another car or truck, I most certainly will seek out Jim by name to help me in the future. Kudo's to the Sale Team that hired Mr. Smyly, he is very good at this job and I have never written a review before, but I felt compelled to do so this time, due to how my spouse and I were treated.     When I arrived Scott was inviting and open to the questions I had. Scott took the time to show me different types of cars and selling offers. Once I bought the car, Scott went over the features of the car and the loan itself. Scott was a true professional and Kia should be glad to have an individual like Scott working for them.

    We bought a 2015 Subaru Crosstrek from Hagerstown Honda and we were treated exceptionally well Jim Smyly was our salesman very professional , but the most important part of our buying experience was Jim talked to us as if we've known him personally this was a great car buying experience , even though they sell Hondas and Kia's they never tried to sell us anything but what we wanted to buy , I would recommend Hagerstown Honda to anyone looking for a great car buying experience.

    Derrick Goetz and superior dealership Hagerstown Kia saved the day and put me in my beautiful new Kia! Couldn't be happier with Derrick's attentive, patient service. You know how some people just make you feel at ease? Derrick Goetz is the best sales rep for putting you at ease, answering all your questions, and helping you feel confident in your buying decision with absolutely no pressure, unlike other dealerships. Will be heading back to Hagerstown Kia down the road for sure! This is a dealership with integrity and intelligence at the wheel -- led by Bill Barnes, a man of his word you can count on! Awesome dealership you can believe in!

    In my 40 years of car buying, Hagerstown Kia is by far the best dealership I've had the pleasure to buy from and was well worth the drive from another state. We saw the many positive reviews and their team proved that from top to bottom of their organization, they clearly place great value on satisfied customers. Our salesman, Derrick Goetz, was patient in answering all of our questions and made it a very enjoyable buying experience. Couldn't be happier with our new Kia, and will definitely be coming back to this superior dealership headed up by Bill Barnes when we need another car.

    Hagerstown Kia was the first dealership to ever give me a full tank of gas with purchase. My sales agent Stacy was very attentive to everything I had to say. At no time was he pushy or overbearing. The longest part of the process was me making up my mind. Once I made a decision the rest was smooth and painless. Any and all questions I asked was answered promptly. A few questions about the car itself and the stereo that they did not know right off hand was looked up immediately in front of me to get me a prompt and satisfactory answer. I have bought many cars in my life and this experience was unlike working with a dealership it was more like working with a friend. I was very pleased and will gladly recommend them.

    I would be happy to let folks know how absolutely over-the-moon happy I am! And, thank you Scott. I'm so glad I came there first and experienced the Patriot I now own. I fell for it when I saw the listing on Carfax. Driving it sealed the deal... I drempt of driving last night.     Overall, I think this is probably a good dealership. They have a good selection at a good price. However, the sales guy that we got (Chad Black) was really pushy, and he got rude when we decided not to buy. Everyone else was nice, including Jacob and Whitney. My biggest complaint is that they make it unnecessarily difficult to get an "out the door" price quote by email. If they had made it easier to do that, we probably wouldn't have had the "misunderstanding" that led to my walking out of the dealership on the night I planned to buy a car.
