I just bought a Honda CR-V Hybrid off the lease at Criswell Honda and had a great experience. Dominique was a solid salesman, and got my wife and I through the process quickly and we were able to finance at the dealership with a fantastic deal. Will continue to do all my service work at Criswell, and will go back for my next car purchase.

    Worst attempted buying experience of my life, and I've purchased at least 10 vehicles. How this dealership survives is beyond me. Salesperson lied to get us in the door, stating they could get a particular model and color. Went through all the paperwork, only to be told at the VERY end, after 2+ hours, that they may not be able to get that one and to go back home and wait for a call. Called back and was given a horribly made up excuse why they couldn't get the vehicle. Wondered why the salesperson was trying to talk us into something different the entire time - well, that's because they didn't even have what he told us. Was told I'd get a call back by a manager - as expected, never happened. Tried to call to speak to a sales manager, went into voicemail every time. What an absolutely horrible, dishonest experience.

    Criswell Honda was honest, helpful, no hassle, and sold me a great car at a great price. Willys was very helpful and knew my price point and got me in the car I wanted. You will have a good, no pressure experience with Criswell Honda.

    Dominique Vattuone has restored my faith in car dealerships. I was dreading the prospect of getting a new car after a very bad experience purchasing my last new car. Dominique changed that dread to relief in moments. He was knowledgable, enthusiastic, and treated me like a friend. At no time did it feel like he was trying to sell me a car. He knew the product sold itself and he acted more like a facilitator, just being there to guide me as I made my decisions. I will tell all my friends and family to go to Dominique and Criswell when they are in the market for a new car.

    After researching the small SUV class choices in the market, we narrowed our focus to buying a Honda CR-V. We used the USAA Buying Service to price and locate potential vehicles in the area. Criswell Honda had the best price points and stock of the various trim lines for comparison. We purchased a 2014 Honda CR-V EX-L. Dominique Vattuone sent an e-mail in response to our USAA query and we went to Criswell for a test drive. He is a real gentleman. Going on a test drive with him is relaxing -- like riding with a knowledgeable friend rather than a salesperson. All the same, he is an outstanding salesman -- friendly, respectful and patient. He was thorough and focused and converted a test drive to a sale. He went over the car and the purchase in great detail. He responded to all our questions and negotiations thoroughly. Andy Russo in finances was also very friendly and flexible. He was exceptionally helpful finalizing the deal and payment. All said, a great buying experience.

    We are very happy with the 2015 Odyssey (smokey topaz) we purchased and with our experience with Mazen Muhtaseb (sales) and Victor Azari (finance). Mazen was very friendly and easy to work with. Victor was efficient and made the loan process low pressure. I would recommend this dealership.

    We had a very unpleasant experience with Criswell Honda Dealership, Germantown, MD recently. It is not the first time for us to buy new cars (we purchased two new cars in the past 5 years); however, the manager called Esbetan in Criswell Honda Dealership is the most un-professional and un-reliable manager we have ever encountered. So we kindly remind that everybody avoid him when you do your car shopping in MD. Here is what happened: We went to Criswell Honda dealership in Germantown, MD yesterday to buy a new car while trading in our old car. After 4-hour negotiation, we could not strike a deal due to a $2000 disagreement, so we left. Later that day, the dealer Phil called us and asked whether we were still interested. So we did another round of negotiation over the phone with him. He asked whether we can pick up the car if they raised our trade-in car value from $10,000 to $10,500, and we made a counteroffer and asked whether they can lower $300 in the new car in addition to the $500 trade-in value increase. He talked to his manager and then called back with a no. After one-night thinking, we decided to take Phil's offer ($10,500 for the trade-in car). We called Phil and went to the dealership. While we were trying to sit down and went through the paperwork, a manager called Esteban came and asked us whether we were OK with the price of trade-in value of $10,000. We were surprised to see that he lowered the price back to what we disagreed on yesterday and did not mention anything about the $500 increase. We told him that is not what we agreed on yesterday on the phone, and he said that we did not take the offer yesterday and today they changed their mind. So we asked him whether he was trying to eat his own words and he said yes, and they had the rights to do so. And Esbetan refused to do any other negotiation with a very arrogant attitude. We felt angry and our time was wasted. So we left and will never go back to Criswell again even if they have better prices which they normally do not. Without creditability and reliability, no one can do business. What Esteban did is not only losing a customer; he is damaging the reputation of Criswell Honda dealership.

    Dominique is the Eagle Scout of Car Sales. Is is helpful, knows the product and is a genuine nice guy. I looked a several cars and he never failed in his attention to me, the customer. All questions were answered and additional information he thought helpful was given. I received a good price for my trade-in and a great price on a 2014 Civic EX-L (my final decision after looking at a few cars and driving a couple of them). Jim gave me a new respect for the "finance guy". He is very personable and made the "time in the pit" enjoyable. Everything was explained fully, options were explored and we even talked about golf. Great job, Jim. Sam is the serviceman to go to. He explained various options on tires for my wife's CR-V and gave me a price I could not refuse. Like Dominique and Jim, Sam is one of those guys that make you feel like a friend. There is no need to look further for a dealership.

    This is the second time making a car purchase at Criswell. I returned because my first experience went really well, so immediately decided to go back when I needed a different car. It was the second time I worked with Dominique and Esteban, and they did not fail to deliver again. They provide friendly customer service, knows the product well, and offer great deal with no added pressure. It was my first time working with Andy, in finance, and he was great. He presented all the options and did not push on the sale, which was great. I will definitely do business with Criswell again as they are customer service oriented and treat their repeat customers as first time customers.

    I thank God for His favor in our car-leasing experience at Criswell Honda. Everyone was professional, yet friendly and honest. Luis is an excellent salesman with integrity and takes pride in his work. We can tell he has an excellent work ethic and really cares about meeting the needs of the customer. We could tell he was genuine in everything he showed to us and explained to us and that he wasn't one of those pushy salesmen. Jessica was also very patient with us and our children and even found a way to include a bonus in our package. The vehicle we have perfectly meets our needs as well as our standards and we drove away with positive feelings. And the kids got restless but they managed to have their fun too.

    After haggling with other dealerships, I met Brandon S at Criswell Honda. He made everything very easy and simple and got straight to the chase on the price which made it a more enjoyable and pleasant experience. I would definitely recommend Brandon and Criswell Honda to anyone in the market to buy a new or used car.

    Just got a good deal on a new Honda Civic at Criwell. As recommended by Edmunds, we did our research. Used Edmunds to determine invoice, incentives, holdback. Computed a price goal. Obtained trade values from various sources. Contacted multiple dealerships to obtain price quotes. Did not contact Criswell as they did not have the color in stock. In addition, I like to hold off contacting dealers I am familiar with on the first contact. I like to see what other dealers are offering. Selected a dealership in Hagerstown to initially work with. While this dealership agreed to match the lowest price other dealers had quoted, just slightly above our pricing goal, their trade offer was $4,000 below our requested trade value and $3,000 below our trade goal. We did ask for more than we expected. Nothing to lose. Their trade offer was $1,000 below the lowest Black Book trade value. Interestingly, they judged our trade vehicle at the same condition as we did. Due to this lowball trade offer and some other perceptions, we feared this dealership as possibly one of those car buying sites warn against. We detected hints of too many games. The next day, we contacted Criswell. I gave them the price we were looking for along with the trade value we were asking for which was $1,000 more than we expected. When Criswell responded they would be willing to work with us we visited. Within an hour or so, Criswell came back with an offer at both our asking selling price and the trade value we expected. At my insistence, the selling price included the dreaded doc fee. We also financed at Honda's special finance rate. The price we received was just a bit above the invoice less customer incentives less holdback and less manufacturer to dealer incentive amount I had computed. The trade value was essentially at the KBB very good condition level. Overall, our trip south to Criswell saved us over $1,000. On a $22,000 vehicle this is significant. Equally important was the dealership. In all areas, Criswell was respectful and professional. This vehicle is for my young daughter. The salesman Ali treated her with respect. Furthermore he sales manager, Estiban was easy to work with, even after I wad a bit abrupt with him. Even Criswell's F&I manager was great. Of course, he made an attempt to sell some extras. But when I told him we were not interested, he stopped. Much different than others who will only stop after they hear no three times. This is the fourth Honda we have purchased from Criswell. Each time we initiated our purchase elsewhere. Each time we bought from Criswell, where we got a better deal. I have been buying cars for four decades. I work in the finance area. I think I can spot a good dealer. I think I can spot a bad one as well. For many reasons, I keep returning to Criswell for our Honda vehicles. Criswell must be doing something right.

    From start to finish, it was a pleasurable experience. Kevin was super--very knowledgeable and extremely personable. We didn't expect that buying a car would be as much fun as it was. He took the time to explore our specific needs and showed us several options for accomplishing this with different vehicles. Overall, I would highly recommend this dealership and Kevin in particular.

    Great Experience - 2014 Pilot EX ! I bought my 2014 Honda Pilot from Dominique, Criswell Honda at Germantown, MD, a few days ago. The buying experience is extremely pleasant and smooth. Their price is honest and the lowest in the region. I definitely recommend him and Criswell Honda! My son is growing up and we determined to add a family car. Pilot SUV is one of our choices. I submitted a query through truecar and received quotes from three dealers. The price from Criswell is quite honest, I am not a good negotiator, and don't like the style of some other dealers who first bring you in for a test drive then haggle over prices for hours. I directly followed up with Dominique of Criswell, the quote of Honda of Chantilly, VA is a little bit lower though, but Criswell is much closer to my home. Two days later, he surprisingly told me a week-end sale, the price of the SUV I am interested in drops further. On the test day, Dominique and his colleague welcomed me at the front door. They were friendly, patient, professional and never tried to put any pressure on me. I decided to take the SUV after test drive, they just honored the week-end sale price without any tricks. It is so simple and smooth! There are extras for wheel lock and Nitrofill that I was aware of before I came in. All paperworks went on well. I bought the 7-year extended warranty from Jim of the finance department with a good price, there is some push from him but I quite understood, given the sale price is so low. This gives me a peace of mind for those covered failures; I don't know much about the reputation of the provider but I hope that my Pilot never breaks down. Overall, this is an awesome deal we wanted with no hassle. - Eric

    I'd stay away from the dealer named Brandon. He didn't tell us the truth when he gave us a quote. He used the MSRP value and included the freight cost when they gave us the quoted price to show a bigger deal that they were giving us. So unfortunately I assumed because the price they showed us the deal from included freight that it was part of the discounted price. Well I was completely wrong and they slide that one in there and never said a thing to us about it. So avoid him if you can. The financing guy was horrible too. I'm not sure he even looked at any banks. I think he just went with Honda so he could get a bigger bonus. When i pulled up a better rate on my phone all of the sudden the best rate they could find us all of the sudden wasn't the best rate and they found something better. The manager that I talked to was horrible too. He just said I should have caught things before hand and that because I didn't I was out of luck. Talk about wonderful customer service.

    We came in with a price certificate from the Consumer Reports Build and Buy service. We got the price, no questions asked. No hard sell for options. Very friendly service. All key points of the car were explained. Very useful tour of the dealership. Not only was this our best car buying experience, it was actually enjoyable. Highest recommendation.

    The salesman was great, helpful. Problem was with the accountant that goes over financing. Edmunds saved me from full sticker price. The accountant pretended she didn't know about edmonds. The accountant gave me a 6 yr loan on the car so I could buy a protection pkg. never told me. I missed seeing it. Also did not get the car I wanted. Don't even want the car now. Watch out for the finance dept. I'll never go there again. A woman in my office and a friend were screwed too. Didn't know. I did a lot of homework to afford the car. Not a customer friendly place.

    My experience started with a phone call and email with MJ who was able to find the perfect car and get me a real good price that I was comfortable with. I then was assisted by Gabriel J who was quite thorough in his demonstration of what became my new Crosstour! In the finance department, Jim was quick and thorough as well and I am very pleased with my experience at Criswell Honda. I have bought from them before and can also attest to the excellent service and attitudes of the men and women in the service department. Thank you Criswell, I'll use your services again anytime!

    My wife and I found a very pleasant experience at Criswell. I normally don't write reviews, but I felt it was important to write this one. We were able to negotiate a very good price on a 2011 CR-V EX-L. The best part was the ability to negotiate over email for about 6 days. My salesperson, Daniel was excellent and did his best to secure us an offer. We knew the offer was good when several other local dealers immediately rejected it or would not negotiate with us over email. Once the offer was secured, we just went in, examined the car, filled out the paperwork and took off in our new car.
About our dealership
