Horrible service department
by LDLandry on 05/10/2023Brought my accord in for 11:00 am appointment for routine oil change and tire rotation. They told me it would be about 45 minutes. I have been here for 2 hours now and have not heard from anyone. So I found someone to get an update. Lane… tells me my car has not even been looked at as of 1:00 PM and could not tell me when it would be looked at. He said he has been “insanely busy”, but there’s hardly anyone here. Richard’s Honda Service Department is horrible!! I do not recommend doing business here at all.Honda damaged dashboard and has not repaired it
by Jonathan C on 01/02/2022Wife and I bought a car from Richards Honda last year. Repair technicians scratched and gouged the dashboard while replacing defective air vents. We came to Richards 3 separate times and waited for hours each time only to be told they… "didn't have the parts, they ordered the wrong parts, and the wrong parts came." The level of incompetency is astounding to make us come out and wait hours on 3 separate times only for nothing to be down. This was a brand new car with the dashboard plastic ruined by the technicians. Even worse, before we moved to Houston Chelsea the technician told us that they could ship the parts to Houston Honda and have it repaired there for no additional cost, but after arriving here still have not had the parts shipped over, and Houston Honda is saying we have to pay to get it fixed now. Be extremely careful of the technicians and management here, I would recommend buying your car somewhere else if you have to get repairs and recall work done here. If you do have to get repairs done, get everything in writing and take pictures.Oil Change
by hemipower390 on 05/09/2016Had my oil changed here and the experience was nice. Very comfortable lobby area. Who better than to change your oil than Honda Certified mechanics. Also good to know nothing is wrong with my vehicle.Great service
by jooleanne on 09/29/2009Convenient & covered drive through service department. The facility has a nice waiting area with flat screen TV, comfy couches and refreshments.. Private-ish counters for each serviceman to go over your service(s) with you. Daniel waited… on me last time (September 2009) and he was very personable and thorough. I like that I can schedule appointments online.Sincere, upfront service treating one fairly and courteously
by volkdancer on 08/22/2009I have never been more pleased and impressed with th eservice I received for my 90K service on my 2004 Honda Civic Hybrid. The receptionist seemed interested in me, not just my business, carefully explained what would be done so that I… could be sure I wasn't being 'sold' extra items not listed in the owner's manual as my previous service dealer always did, told me the price I would pay, and the adjusted price when I said I didn't need one item and needed another, and told me how long it would take. I felt confident and like a person who happened to be a customer. I have never had such a feeling of being treated fairly by a car service dealer, except for an Olds dealership in Col's OH twenty-five years. I was happy to drive 60 miles instead of five because of what I felt I could expect. That feeling proved to be justified by the courtesy and price,which matched what I was quoted. I firmly believe that the behavior of all employees in an organization reflects the corporate culture from the top down. One can't fake sincerity, and Richard's Honda, based on my experience, is up front , honest, sincere, and seems to genuinely care about it customers. It seems to me that the employees like their jobs, where they work, and the customers. I think the Richard's Honda model for treating service customers should be used as a model and standard by the Honda Corporation for all its other dealerships.Good Experience

Only beef was we were there for 4-5 hours and most of it was spent waiting to get into the finance office. Did not plan for it to… take that long.Worst experience ever
by bbennett16 on 03/22/2012updated 08/03/2025I bought my first new car in August of 2011 it was a 2012 honda civic coupe. Ive had an issue with it not starting sometimes and when brought to the attention of the service representatives at the time of my first oil change in January it… has been a downhill battle. My 2012 civic has 6 work orders for the same issue over the last two months. The service manager (Danny) only tells me that they have done everything they can do and he has no idea where to go from here! Thats always promising right? When i go to the receptionist and ask for the GM she sends me to the sales manager (David Hill) who says i have 2 options, continue to have my car repeatedly in for service until they can duplicate the problem and find a solution, or they can trade in my BRAND NEW 2012 civic in for a used car! Sorry i didnt buy a brand new car under the impression that it was in perfect condition just for it to have a problem from the start and trade it in 6 months later for a used vehicle! I honestly think this will be the last time i ever buy any vehicle from this dealership!
