Best Car Buying Experience! 5 Star!!

Their salesman Rich Drummer was amazing and went above and beyond to meet our needs and get me the car I wanted at a great price! Not only the salesman but every one… of their employees walking around was pleasant and made sure we were comfortable at all times. It was a totally painless process and would definitely recommend this dealership to everyone! The best car buying experience I have ever had!Dedication to Laurel Audi of westmont! Long but well worth reading.
by MishaFino on 03/03/2015I am truely dedicated to Laurel Audi of Westmont! Back in 2005 I purchased my first Audi, it was at Laurel Audi in Tinley Park. I live in the northwest suburbs so Tinley is a bit of a hike for me. I needed some routine maintenance work on… my A4 and Tinley Park told me that i can bring my Audi to their sister dealership in Westmont, which saved me a 30min drive. I could not be more pleased with the service & care that I received at Westmont Audi, I haven't left them since. Over a spand of 10yrs, I built a trustful relationship with Blake Farmer in their service department. It had finally come time for a new A4. I am a woman on an imported beer budget :) but have expensive champaign taste so when I say a new A4, I mean a certified pre-owned Audi. I looked around at numerous Audi dealers but never felt the warmth & honesty that I had in Westmont. So, I called Blake and he of course recommended anyone in their sales department. He said they were all great, but I wanted 1 name so Blake referred me to Mike Morgan. I believe the story was that Mike sold Blake's uncle a vehicle and honestly any name he would have thrown at me, I would trust. The experience I had and will continue to have with Mr. Mike Morgan is by far the best experience I have ever encountered with any car salesman. Of course I understand that salesmen need to make their commission & basically they are just doing their jobs but I never felt that way with Mike. I truely believe that his goal was to make the customer happy. I am a perfectionist and I do not except the minimum, I want the best that I can get. I had gone on line and saw they had a white A4, thats what I was looking for! So I called Mike, set up an appt. to have my husband test drive the vehicle ( I didn't need to, I know exactly how great they handle & how quick they are, even going from my old 6cyl to the newer 4cyl Turbo, Awesome!) . My husband loved the car but I did not love the beige something interior & it was a premium pkg that was missing my blue cheese stuffed olives & cocktail onions! My husband probably would have purchased that car but I was not sold on it, I believe Mike could sense that. So we said we would think about it & get back to him. Well, Mike called me the next day to see how I felt about the A4 and we spoke for at least an hour because I could not make a decission and he needed to find out exactly what would make happy. The next day Mike called me and said he has a Blk A4 premium plus coming in, that he thinks I will love. Since either it was not there yet or not ready to show, I couldn't even look at it & little does he know he basically sold it to me over the phone. He answered all my questions, was extreamly patient, gave me so much information, Helped me compare the white one we test drove to the blk one I had not even seen, expained new car warrenty, CPO warrenty, extended warrenty, so much information I was going in circles. It was almost like I was looking for him to make the decission for me, I was that confused, the 2 cars balanced each other out as far as miles, color, interior, wheels, features, price,it was nuts. He was so honest & nice through it all, I ran out of questions and built this complete trust in him. When the Blk A4 arrived, I took it for a little spin and next thing I know, papers were being signed & yes Mike found me my perfect car! Also, I was extreamly happy that I would be able to continue the trust and honesty in their service department with Blake. The next morning in my garage, I started to nit pick my beautiful black panther . It's used, it's not going to be perfect but I want it to be. There were a couple minor scratches on the body & hood, no big deal, the rest of the car was perfect and I have the CPO warrenty, what else could I want. Anyone one else would probably be ok with it, especially since Audi of Westmont did not owe me anything. That form you sign when you sign your contract, that one that states wether or not the dealership owes you anything or vice versa. Well, I called Mike told him I realize they are not responsible for it, I signed the form stating that they would not "owe" me for anything & I didn't expect anything to come out of it BUT.......it was an eye sore for me. So once again, Mike exceeded my expectations. He spoke with his manager and all they wanted was to keep me happy and in love with my Audi. I brought it in and they took care of everything I asked for, even though they did not have to. Years ago I made the commitment to drive an Audi for the rest of my life, I am that passionate about the car and now I can also say that I make that same commitment to Laurel Audi of Westmont. Since the renovation, the dealership is gorgeous, the service is exceptional and thats another long review to write, the salesmen are the best, Mike Morgan is the best and I will always recommend him to everyone, I could not ask for a more perfect experience. Even have to say kuddos to Lucy that went over my contract with me, very nice and thorough. Laurel Audi of Westmont 100% Class, Honesty & Commitment to their customers, the best! My salesperson, Sinine, was very competent and made every effort to meet my vehicle and financial needs. Every key person at the dealership made sure to meet… me and thank me for the business. Meeting with Manager, Mike Giorgi and General Manager Ozzie Haleem made me feel that my satisfaction was their priority and I was in good hands.LOVE my A3 Cabriolet!!!
by frugalang on 01/31/2015I purchased my car last week. I had no problems with the price, I was going back and forth with a couple dealerships and Westmont gave me the best price thru email. I never even had to go in to order the car. I knew exactly what I… wanted, but they talked me into the side assist and I am so glad. Purchased from Rick who is no longer there, he was great. Bill Manrot handled my first delivery and was great. He even stayed after the dealership was closed and sat in the car with me to make sure I knew how to drive it and work some of the gadgets. He stayed for some time even tho he had punched out for the night. He set up my bluetooth and offered a second delivery anytime. Only complaint could be that the car was not delivered by date promised (Christmas). However, I had done on-line research and I knew that when you order an audi it can take 1-2 months more than promised. Mine took a month longer. It is worth the wait tho. I can't wait for summer to take the top down on this car, it's such a tight fun drive. I just have the base stereo, the upgrade isn't available on the base model I have. I have no complaints at all with the base stereo. It's an excellent system. The upgrade is awesome if you can afford it, if not, you will be happy with the base stereo. I love the Nav system and the utube videos are helpful on how to use it. There is a lot to learn about these cars. You can't possibly learn it all on the first delivery. My favorite is that you can "write" letters for the nav. which is quicker than dialing them up.Ok sales experience - sloppy on the way out
by Hoss_1 on 01/21/2015The showing and the purchase of the vehicle was fine. Plus, the usual 3 - 4 hours of waiting and paperwork. The problem was I purchased new plates and they did not give me my old license plates back. (Which they said they would) They… misplaced the 2nd set of keys to the vehicle I purchased. The sales guy said he would find them and mail them to me. It was a Saturday around 5:45 pm. I felt like they were rushing to get me out of there as fast as they could because they were closing. I did get the keys in the mail after about two weeks and 3 phone calls. During the 3rd call, I told the sales manager I still did not receive my keys. He said they already mailed them, but they didnt. I had to correct him and then he went and checked with the area which mailed them. He asked if this phone number we were talking on was a good number to call me back. I said yes, but he never called back. Like I said I did get the keys (2 after the 3rd call). They did not send my plates. The sales manager did say they destroyed them, but when I asked for a letter of proof of destruction he said they do not do that and HE would not do that. But if I ran into trouble later down the road they would help out. So my review is mixed. The vehicle showed great. The sales piece went ok. Their follow through, well not so good, but I did get my keys at least.They have restored my faith in Dealerships!

William Calderon, our salesman, was not a high pressure sales guy. We asked… them to meet the price that another dealership had this car in another color and they did it. We didn't have to argue, debate, negotiate...they were just good. I'd recommend Audi Westmont to anyone and we will certainly recommend them to friends and family.Merely average buying experience
by rm9k on 12/22/2014I hesitated to post this review, but after 2+ months with a new Q5 and already no less than 3 service visits (and now having to schedule an upcoming 4th at another dealership), I felt compelled to voice my less-than-satisfying experience.… I purchased a 2015 Audi Q5 just this past August (2014). In considering my overall purchase experience, I would have to say it was merely average. Here's why... I had done my pricing research and was already pre-approved for a loan, so I was prepared, but at times during the 4+ hour buying experience, I felt pressured to accept several counter offers at several price points or option packages. I had made the trip out to the dealership with the intention of purchasing based on what I was told on the phone. Looking back, however, there was a great deal more hemming and hawing than I could have anticipated or would have liked - it felt like I was pulling their teeth and it got uncomfortable. I found myself haggling at each stage, something I thought I had prepared myself NOT to do. But, regrettably, I had made the trip out there and had a mindset push through with the purchase. I also felt my sales rep was less than straightforward, assuring me that the car they had "picked out" for me had an upgraded audio option (I asked twice), when it in fact only had the base audio, which I admittedly overlooked somehow (new car fever??), and unfortunately realized only much later (much too late to do anything about it, I'm afraid); so I'm stuck with a decent, but unimpressive sound system. On top of that, I've already needed to bring the car in for numerous questionable "quality control" or "build quality" issues pertaining to door panel rattles, interior plastic panels separating from their mounts (literally popping off for no apparent reason), and, most recently, weird mechanical clunking sounds coming from somewhere in the rear of the vehicle when stopping and starting at low speeds, despite securing or removing any potentially loose objects, panels or spare parts that could be noise "red-herrings" (hence my forthcoming 4th service appointment). Some may call these issues picky, and I would agree if I had just purchased a Nissan or Chevy (no offense), but I don't think rattling door panels or any of these other issues should be expected from a $55,000 Audi, or from any other "luxury" brand for that matter. In all fairness, I will say their finance department did work with me to secure a very favorable interest rate on the portion I financed (even better than my pre-approved car loan from my own bank, as a matter of fact), and they also did slash the price of some of the add-on service and extended warantee options I added. Based on other reviews posted here, my experience seems to be the exception rather than the norm. But for my part, I can't say I'm all that impressed as a result of my buying "process" or the issues I've had since my purchase. I came from an 7 year old Acura TSX which had no such problems for at least my first 4 years of ownership, and which I would attribute to normal wear-and-tear, as to be expected after some time). It was in all other respects a fantastic truly reliable car. I therefore did have some trepidation of possible reliability issues with a German automaker, but really wanted to try a "true luxury" brand. While the car seems to otherwise run and drive generally as expected, it would seem at least some of my reliability/build quality fears have been realized. This has unfortunately soured what I hoped to be a great and satisfying purchase from this dealership and my impression of the Audi brand as a whole. Of course I am but one amongst many car buyers that have passed through this dealership, most of whom seem to have had good, if not great, buying/service experiences here based on many other reviews. Sadly, I cannot count myself as one of them.William Rocks!

When I went into the dealership in July, they didn't have an Audi with all of the features that I wanted so they… suggested we special order one so that I didn't have to compromise on anything. The ordering process was very smooth and we were able to negotiate a very good deal. While waiting for my Audi to arrive, I received monthly updates on the progress of my order. When the car arrived, it was exactly what I wanted. I went in to pick up the car with my wife and William took an hour out of his day to show us how everything worked. Since then, he has emailed me to ask how I'm enjoying my car and has given me his contact information in case I need help with anything. I truly feel like I'm being taken care of. I highly recommend that if you are shopping for an Audi you stop by Audi Westmont and talk to William Calderon!The reason I own an Audi
by marina6 on 11/12/2014I'm very thankful to a friend who recommended Naseem at this dealership after I was disappointed with the level of customer service at Audi Naperville. I was impressed by their customer service from the minute I was greeted at the entrance.… Naseem answered all my questions and was more interested in making sure I was confident enough to make a decision rather than me making a sales decision. The entire team was really friendly and they worked out an excellent deal for me. Unlike other sales folks, Naseem stayed in touch with me even after I brought the car home and continues to provide any kind of assistance if asked. I worked with a couple other Audi dealerships in the Chicagoland area and if you are looking for a place where you feel comfortable and well equipped to make an educated decision, I WOULD RECOMMEND GOING HERE! I worked with Naseem but I'm sure anyone from the team would be as helpful.Great Experience

Fred Downey took his time to find exactly the right car for us and we got a very fair deal. No… pressure, no hype, just a professional who knows his product and his business. The General Manager, Ozzie Haleem made it a point to introduce himself and make sure our experience with Westmont met our expectations. He didn't play the game of "Having to consult his manager" How refreshing.… I ended up purchasing an A6, and his follow up with the after sales has been second to none. The sales person I dealt with was not the least bit pushy, in fact extremely sensitive to my… schedule. Once we met to see the car I was interested I was even more impressed. He was friendly, knowledgable and again very sensitive to my short time frame that particular day. We made a deal and I had to leave and come back a couple days later to sign papers due to my schedule. He was kind enough to pick me up at the train so that I did not have to bother anyone else to drive me to the dealership. the paper signing was painless (and pretty fast!) and the gentleman that went over the car with me was excellent. All-in-all a great car buying experience.A great experience

Her sales person, Juan, treated her with the utmost courtesy and respect. He was patient in helping her find the right car for her.… She had me return to the dealership with her to finalize a deal. We offered $3,000 less then the $47,000 asking price for a 2008 Audi Q7. I was pretty much shown to the door.… Unbelievable in a down economy, with a cash buyer sitting in front of you, that you are so arrogant not to counter. We ended up buying from [another dealership] in Orland Park who were the best. Please do yourself a favor and buy from International and save yourself a lot of hassle.Sold a Certified Pre-owned car - but it wasn't certified......
by LaurelAudiLies on 02/19/2009This dealer sold me a Certified Pre-owned 2008 vehicle and it was not actually certified. I paid an extra $1,700 for the certification. Audi of America will not authorize the certification because the car was modified by the previous… owner. They say they cannot do anything for me except for have the dealership fix the car and then it will be certified. All that I want is to return the car. I have owned 5 Audi's since the year 2000 and I bought three of them from Laurel Audi. Nice way to treat your loyal customers. I am in the process of filing a lawsuit, American Express Card is researching the obvious sales fraud and a major network in Chicago is investigating for me and most likely going to do a story on the situation. This situation should make every customer wonder if any of the certified pre-owned cars sold by ANY Audi dealer are in fact certified. DON'T TRUST LAUREL or Audi of America. You have been warned!
