  • Surprised by the transparency.

5 out of 5 starsby Dave Roush on 03/26/2025

I was welcomed into the building by Sarah and she was going to be working with me and going on a test drive in the car I was looking at. I saw my name was on a monitor, and they were really expecting me. This is a nice touch, not to mention being a production manager, visual things like this I can appreciate. I met the sales manager Chris, and he was a very nice guy. He spent a few minutes to get to know me a bit, and Sarah and I went on a test drive. Unfortunately, I was not that excited about the car I was looking at and said I was going to pass on it. Of course, Sarah said the sales manager would just like to stop by and talk with me, and I thought here we go with the high-pressure sales. Well, I was wrong! He sat at Sarah's computer and found a car he thought I might want to see before I leave. I was pleasantly surprised that he took the time and did not try to push me into something I did not want. Loved the new option and bought the car that evening. I will say at 55 years of age I have bought a few cars, but this was stress free. I will go out of my way to go back when I or my family and friends are in need of a new or used car. Great work Sarah and Chris I have been bragging about my experience since.

  • Bad experience [non-permissible content removed]!

1 out of 5 starsby Verce on 03/24/2025

Initially i had a positive review for my experience leasing the car from this dealership and dealing with Matthew Darovec and his manager but i had to change it to negative unfortunately! When i leased my car i was promised that all of the maintenance for the car including oil changes will be included by the term of my lease. When i sign the documents it showed only 4 oil changes included but they assured me that all the leased vehicle oil changes are covered by them until the lease term end and don't have to worry about what they stated in the documents. When i used my initial 4 oil changes they changed the story and start charging for the remaining of the regular oil changes and even had a courage to tell me a lies into my face that they don't remember and they just following whats in the signed documents, when i tried to dispute the charges. It's my mistake believing their words and promises instead of forcing them that to be stated in the documents. I just didn't realize that they will be such a dishonest people, [non-permissible content removed]. Ill also make a complain with BBB and let everyone know about my experience and will make sure do not fall again on a fake promises and to have all of that on paper because they are not keeping to the deal and their promises unless you have that on a paper. They will lose many customers like this over few hundred dollars worth of oil changes! Will never be a Jeep customer again! Avoid this dealership at all costs!!!

  • Worst Car Buying Experience Ever!!

1 out of 5 starsby Peter on 05/06/2024

This was by far the WORST car-buying experience I have ever had in all my years of buying cars. Dan, our salesman, was very nice, personable, professional and seemed genuinely concerned about our budget and wanted to try and get us the best deal. We also met Alexis, who was nice and tried her best but by the time she got involved, it was too late. There was a third person, male, who got involved in our interaction, but I never got his name because I was too upset at the time. We made 3 visits to this dealership and brought our vehicle in this last trip so they could appraise the vehicle. Let me start there. We were never asked ANYTHING about the car. The staff jotted down mileage, year of vehicle and just asked if we had recent service done, that was it! They never asked details, i.e. additional feature, details of recent service done. Then they come back with an offer that was well below KBB. They refused to budge on increasing the value of the trade-in even when I told them I could get $1500 more at another dealership. Next issue was with the actual price of the vehicle. The misleading part is that they give you the MSRP and do not mention AT ALL the "add-ons", that THEY chose to put on the vehicle, until you question it. Then, you question the dealership "add-ons" and they make it seem like they were necessary for the protection of the vehicle.... NOT NECESSARY! Their way of "saving" you money is by offering coupons for the 2nd application. Whoever our salesman was going back to with counteroffers would NOT budge at all on the price of the vehicle. Instead, he would just extend our financing out to 7 YEARS and say, "You got a GREAT deal". Is he kidding??? This dealership does not care at all about its customers. They are hoping that their customers are uniformed, don't pay attention to details, and have no interest in negotiating price. My guess is most of their customers are in that category.... we are NOT suckers!! I told Alexis that we were no longer interested in purchasing a vehicle because her manager was unwilling to work with us on the price. So, I told Alexis to give us back our car keys, can't believe dealers still use this "trick", and we were done. Well, a third person comes over to us with our car keys then sits down. He says, "I will give you what you are asking for the trade-in." I told him it was too late, and we were done dealing. He then seemed surprised about the whole previous interactions and acted like he knew nothing about what had transpired. I explained to him that we were no longer interested in the car and did not care to hear his offer. He then "played victim" and asked, "Why are you so mean?" Seriously??? This is what a manager says to a customer? I then proceeded to tell him, "It should not take 4 attempts for them to finally agree to one request of ours and I was mentally exhausted from the previous episodes of back and forth." As we were walking away, he then says to me, "Maybe you are the reason it took 4 tries." EXCUSE ME!!?? He is blaming ME for their failure in finalizing. That is the worst thing a manager could say to a customer. Lastly, when you are sitting in the showroom it is like a dance club in there with dance music blasting overhead. Then, when someone purchases a car, they turn the music up louder and shoot confetti into the air like a game show. I have been purchasing cars for about 40 years and this is the absolute worst experience I have had and the worst dealership I have ever encountered. Unless you have money to burn and don't care about being deceived or not listened to, then stay far away from this dealership. It is a shame too, because, with descendants of Al Piemonte running it you would think the customer service would be better than it is.

  • Horrible Service in Sales

1 out of 5 starsby AV on 08/24/2020

I live over an hour away and I called this past Saturday for a vehicle I saw online. I spoke to the internet salesman and he stated that the car was available and that it was in the detail shop finishing up. He called the shop to assure I can drive the car when I arrive and confirmed with me that it was OK. So an appointment was made and I stated that I was already driving and should be there in less than an hr. When I arrived to the dealer, I was informed that the car was just sold. I wasted 2+ hours driving and felt insulted when they said it was sold. I was highly upset with the outcome of my trip. I can literally say that this is bad for business. I was lied too when I was told to make an appointment, which I did, and when I walked in my name was on their monitor for the appointment. What type of business is being ran? Integrity went out the window if they had any. I then felt that I was told that to get me in and then try and sell me another car , which I was not interested in. I knew what I wanted. And now I know to tell all my associates to never buy at this dealer. Lying to people will reveal the level of unprofessionalism you deliver. An honest and disappointed lost customer.

  • Terrible

1 out of 5 starsby Educated Buyer on 08/18/2020

They sat us in the salespersons booth for 20 minutes before the representative came to talk, then left again for another 25 minutes. When we stood up to leave, then 4 people asked why, they were gathering info, really? Finally “The Manger” said we have to wait, we walked out. (Still hadn’t talked about the Jeep) Then the manager asked us to return inside, for get it man, wasted a hour here.

  • Buyer beware!

1 out of 5 starsby dissatisfiedcustomer on 02/17/2020

Buyer beware! This dealership and Josh the salesman are why people hate used car dealers. We went to St. Charles to look at a vehicle listed on Carfax.com and were met with high pressure sales tactics and a bunch of additional fees for features that were supposedly already included in the online list price, including the Certified Pre-Owned program. All these guys want to do is take advantage of the customer. And then Josh had the audacity to request a 5-star review. We would give him zero stars if we could.
  • Worst Dealership Ever

Salesmen are un- professional and lack basic communication skills. They say they will get you the information you ask for....but never do. They don't follow though and call back when promised. Manager is no better. I am taking my business to a competent reliable dealer. I read other reviews on their bait n switch tactics, and padding of the price and now I do not trust this place at all!
  • Dishonest -- phony pricing

Sad & Disgraceful Bait & Switch pricing on used vehicles. Advertised $7988 price .. sales guy: "Oh by the way, I just found out they added ($200) wheel locks and ($150) door guards. (Sound familiar??). On top of that they tried to toss on a $995 "Prep fee".. All B.S. Manager also tried to tell me that the Advertised price displayed online was the amount they PAID for the vehicle.. and they post them quickly with that price for marketing.. JOKE. Thought this bull crap went out last century. Don't walk,,,but RUN away ... FAST!!!!

This dealership was very dishonest. They said the car was in great condition and had been checked over and serviced. Lie! The entire back portion of the entertainment system is completely broken. Guess that's why he showed us the front screen and said it all hooks together. Wrong. Also have paperwork stating they replaced tire sensors. Wrong again! Lights are on saying new ones are needed. Have contacted them and they simply respond, "that is a used car for you". What?! Seriously, absolutely horrible and dishonest people.

  • Disappointed

    1 out of 5 starsby Goalie35 on 02/23/2018

Have always bought Chevy but my wife wanted to look at a Jeep. Haley was pleasant and helpful in the beginning, but as more managers got involved in the deal, more promises got made and never followed up on or kept. Still waiting for a call from manager Sam for a month!! Just bought my new Equinox from McCue last night.
  • Dishonest

Advertised pricing is a lie. They have an undisclosed addendum on each vehicle with dealer add one. Expect to pay or negotiate and additional 3000 to their advertised internet pricing. Sam and Manny are like Chicago Politicians....need I say more!!
  • Deceptive Pricing practices

Called about a new Jeep they had listed on-line. Confirmed the price, asked about any extras, was told only other expense was a $172 dealer prep fee in addition to the normal sales tax and license fees. Went the next morning to buy the car and the price was jacked up $2500 for paint protection, wheel locks and door edge guards. Lets call it what it is - dealer mark-up. They charged $300 for the wheel locks, any MOPAR dealer will sell you those same locks for $50 - and still make a profit. Door edge guards were listed at $200. You can buy the same kit on-line for $15 and install them in under thirty minutes. The paint and interior protection package of $2000 are of dubious value, and the "undercoating" is actually bad for your vehicle as it can trap moisture. While sitting in the dealership, heard the guy next to me complain about the same add-ons. BEWARE.
  • Great experience

5 out of 5 starsby Jaze on 08/18/2017

We worked with Pranav and he was very gracious about the whole experience. He was very open minded about our budget and worked to accommodate our needs. We got the car and they were more than willing to match and beat a competitor's price by a good margin.
  • Good Experience

    5 out of 5 starsby Adam_B on 06/03/2017

Rigo helped make the car buying experience as easy as possible. He knew a lot about the car the we were looking at and when it came down to buying the car, he made sure we knew what we were buying. I highly recommend this dealership
  • Don't waste time. Will promise you everything

    1 out of 5 starsby Vick1977 on 05/23/2017

Spend hours and weeks Totally got run around with every aspect of choosing a car. After 4 hours took me to finance office and said my payment needed to go up $100 per month because credit score wasn't perfect. Of course person I dealt with over the phone had no intention of dealing in person, so it was mass confusion and whenever I questioned them, immediately got rude. I walked. Didn't need last year's leftover model anyway
  • Diligence

5 out of 5 starsby Diligence on 05/20/2017

Rigo helped me find the car I wanted, at a price and payment that fit my budget, even though my credit score was less than perfect. The whole process took just a couple hours, and I couldn't be happier with the vehicle I now drive considering the amount of down payment I had and the budget I was able to come up with. First time owning a new car and look forward to having it for a long time. Thanks Rigo.
  • Rigo Moreno

    5 out of 5 starsby 5421hike on 03/18/2017

We haven't yet reached a decision on a purchase, but Rigo was very helpful and if we buy, it will in large part be due to him. He wasn't pushy but he was very informative. What particularly impressed me was that if he didn't know the answer to one of our questions, he wouldn't fake it. He would consult with someone else to get an answer. I have not always had that experience with car salesmen in the past.
  • Best car buying experience

    5 out of 5 starsby ebrems728 on 03/04/2017

My husband and I had an all-around great experience here. Dave and Lenny made the car buying process a pleasant one for us, they were extremely professional and knowledgeable and helped us find the perfect fit for our family and budget. We will definitely be back for future purchases and would recommend anyone to ask for Dave or Lenny.
  • Extremely Poor Experience

    1 out of 5 starsby fester12474 on 03/01/2017

Should be a zero star! Be careful when purchasing a vehicle here. Make sure you do you homework and know where your payments should be! While negotiating a deal found there to be $2300 added that was never disclosed. I guess I know why we were so far off!!!!!! The only bright spot was Haley B. She was a pleasure to deal with and very attentive. The problem is above her.
