by Anne on 05/03/2025A personable, no pressure sales representative (Andre Morgan) gave us valid information and time to discuss our options, the lateness in the day notwithstanding! His genuine, easygoing nature (not "artificial" or "showy" which is often the… case with car dealership personnel) afforded us a comfortable atmosphere to review the features of the car, to verify the details of the sale, to ask our questions, and to make our decision. Had we not encountered such a genuine sales representative, we may have left the dealership to shop elsewhere. As it was, we completed the deal and purchased the car. My husband and son picked up the car the next day when they took in the remaining purchase price in a check and were treated very well by all. Andre also called me personally the next day to ensure that all was going well with the vehicle thus far. Such a considerate, well appreciated gesture! Similarly, Michael Barry, the service advisor with whom I checked in my car for its sealcoating and rust proofing procedures, was equally genuine, helpful, and patient with my inquiries. He even called me on the completion of my car's service to let me know that the vehicle would be ready when I was able to come in to pick it up--a very thoughtful service! Finally, Farug Solebo was especially personable and very informative in his overview of the vehicle's main features that he presented this morning (5/32025) when I picked up my car from its rustproofing/sealcoating services. Such a gentleman, he presented the basic information that I (a first-time Subaru owner) needed for my own piece of mind in driving a new car. My son accompanied me to this orientation, and Faruq was quite respectful of both our questions, and very patient when my son helped direct me to the various icons on the display and add a couple of comments. But Faruq's overview and explanations needed no extra explanations nor clarifications; they were perfect!! He also told me that in a couple of days, he will follow up with a "phone call" to inquire about my progress and to see if I have further questions; I am sure he will call, and I will appreciate his personal checking in! I had been a High School English/Speech Communications instructor for 34 years, and I often taught work related English and communication courses. Believe me, if I were still teaching these courses, I would invite Andre Morgan and Faruq Solebo into my classes to demonstrate and explain the importance of respect for the customer and excellent communication skills in the workplace. In all of my new car purchase experiences (albeit at other dealerships), I have never been treated as courteously, felt as respected and cared for, or responded to as promptly and efficiently as I have been by the staff members of Gerald Subaru of North Aurora Dealership!! Thank you so very much for hiring these personable, respectful, considerate, knowledgeable staff members at your Gerald Subaru Dealership. They are all stars! (as is your dealership!) And I will recommend them and the dealership itself highly!!Great customer service
